Objective To observe the incidence of acute radiation pneumonitis (ARP) in patients with nonsmall cell lung cancer treated by three-dimensional conformation radiotherapy or intersity-modulated radiation therapy, and investigate the predictive value of high dose volume and low dose volume of the total and ipsilateral lung on ARP.Methods 174 patients with non-small-cell lung cancer verified by pathology who received radical radiotherapy in our hospital from Aug 2013 to Nov 2015 were screened.Radioactive dose was 60 Gy-70 Gy,with 97 patients' dose of 60-64 Gy and 77 patients' dose of 65-70 Gy.Chemotherapy was done by paclitaxel + pentium first line treatment.155 patients were treated with radiotherapy alone and 19 with radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy. The V5~ V30,MLD (mean lung dose),V5ipis ~ V30ipsi,MLDipsi were calculated from the dose volume histogram system. The ARP was evaluated according to Common Toxicity Criteria 4.0 (CTC4.0).Univafiate and nultivariate analysis and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were performed to assess the correlated factors of ARP.Results Of 174 patients,26 patients (14.94%) developed radioactive pneumonia at grade 2,11 patients (6.32%) at grade 3,2 patients (1.15%) at grade 4.The correlative factors included the radiochemotherapy regimen (sequential chemotherapy to radiotherapy or concurrent radiochemotherapy),V5,V10,V20,V30,MLD of the total lung and ipsilateral lung according to univariate analysis.Multivariate analysis of all the factors mentioned above showed the V5,V20ipsi and MLD were the independent predictive factors associated with ARP.ROC analysis indicated that the cut-off point of V5,V20ipsi,MLD were 62.38%,47.14%and 16.85Gy respectively.According to the V5,V20ipsi value,174 patients were divided into three groups:B group V5<62%+V20ipsi≥47%,C group V5≥62%+V20ipsi<47%,D group V5≥62%+V20ipsi≥47%.The chisquare test between the C group and D group has statistical significance. Conclusion V5,V20ipsi,and MLD are the independent risk factors of ARP.Compared with V5,limiting V20ipsi threshold is more likely to result in ARP.

OBJECTIVETo assess the state of glucose metabolism and beta-cell function in obese and overweight children.
METHODSLevels of glucose and insulin were detected during oral glucose tolerance test in 52 obese and overweight children aged 11.3 +/- 1.8 years with body mass index (BMI) 30.2 +/- 19.2 kg/m(2). Insulin resistance index (IR = FIN x FPG/22.5), insulin sensitivity index (IS = 1/FIN x FPG) and ratio of insulin increment to glucose increment at 30' (I(30)-I(0)/G(30)-G(0)) post oral glucose were measured. (FIN = fasting insulin. FPG = fasting plasma glucose). The IR, IS and the ratio post oral glucose were compared among groups with varying BMI and between groups of impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) and control. Serum triglyceride determination and B ultrasonography of liver were performed.
RESULTS(1) one patient with type 2 diabetes (1.9%) and 5 patients with IGT (9.6%) were found. (2) IR (> or = 2.8) was observed in 76.9% of the cases. (3) The IR, IS and their ratio showed no difference between the compared groups. (4) IR and IS did not show significant difference but there was significant difference in ratio between the IGT and control group. (5) Increased serum triglyceride and fatty liver were noted in 36.5% and 53.3% of the cases, respectively.
CONCLUSIONThe results indicated that insulin resistance and reduced insulin sensitivity in obese and overweight children are common, and these changes seemed not to correlated with the varying degree of BMI. Beta-cells function was obviously impaired in obese children with IGT and disorder of lipid metabolism exists in many obese and overweight children revealed.

OBJECTIVETo study the relationship between phosphatidylinositol-3-kinases(PI3K)/protein-serine-threonine kinase(AKt) signaling pathway and orthodontic tooth movement.
METHODSTwenty-four rabbits were chosen to establish rabbit models for the study. The right maxillary teeth of each animal treated by orthodontics were as the test side, and the untreated left teeth were as the control side. The animals were sacrificed at 3, 5, 7, 14 d, respectively. The prepared tissue specimens were processed for the study. The changes of the expression of PI3K, AKt in periodontal tissues were detected by real-time quantitative-polymerase chain reaction (RQ-PCR) and Western blot techniques.
RESULTSRQ-PCR showed that the expression of PI3K, AKt mRNA dramatically changed at 3 d. The expression of PI3K, AKt mRNA in the test side was higher than the control side, especially at 7 d, and then decreased. Compared with the control side, there was statistical significant difference in the test side(P < 0.05). The study obtained consistent conclusion from Western blot and RQ-PCR.
CONCLUSIONExpression of PI3K, AKt in rabbit periodontal tissues increase during orthodontic tooth movement, which prompts that PI3K/AKt signal pathways relate to orthodontic tooth movement and PI3K/AKt signal pathway involve in the periodontal tissue remodeling.

Objective:
To assess the risk of public health emergencies in Zhejiang Province, March 2021.
Methods:
An expert counsel was conducted to assess the risk of coronavirus disease 2019 ( COVID-19 ) , enteritis due to norovirus, chicken pox and influenza by professionals in Zhejiang CDC, based on the information from infectious disease and public health emergency surveillance in Zhejiang Province, domestic health administrative departments, World Health Organization, and European CDC.
Results:
In March 2021, the risk of imported COVID-19 epidemic will be high in Zhejiang Province, and the possibility of local spread could not be ruled out. The possibility of a large-scale outbreak of enteritis due to norovirus and a small-scale outbreak of chickenpox in schools and kindergartens could not be ruled out after the new term begins. An increased risk of influenza epidemic is predicted in collective units such as schools and kindergartens, yet the risk of a large-scale one will be low.
Conclusion
High attention should be paid to COVID-19 and enteritis due to norovirus, and general attention should be paid to chicken pox and influenza outbreak.

BACKGROUNDLong-term use of benzalkonium chloride (BAC)-preserved drugs is often associated with ocular surface toxicity. Ocular surface symptoms had a substantial impact on the glaucoma patients' quality of life and compliance. This study aimed to investigate the effects of sodium hyaluronate (SH) on ocular surface toxicity induced by BAC-preserved anti-glaucoma medications treatment.
METHODSFifty-eight patients (101 eyes), who received topical BAC-preserved anti-glaucoma medications treatment and met the severe dry eye criteria, were included in the analysis. All patients were maintained the original topical anti-glaucoma treatment. In the SH-treated group (56 eyes), unpreserved 0.3% SH eye drops were administered with 3 times daily for 90 days. In the control group (55 eyes), phosphate-buffered saline were administered with 3 times daily for 90 days. Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) questionnaire, break-up time (BUT) test, corneal fluorescein staining, corneal and conjunctival rose Bengal staining, Schirmer test, and conjunctiva impression cytology were performed sequentially on days 0 and 91.
RESULTSCompared with the control group, SH-treated group showed decrease in OSDI scores (Kruskal-Wallis test: H = 38.668, P < 0.001), fluorescein and rose Bengal scores (Wilcoxon signed-ranks test: z = -3.843, P < 0.001, and z = -3.508, P < 0.001, respectively), increase in tear film BUT (t-test: t = -10.994, P < 0.001) and aqueous tear production (t-test: t = -10.328, P < 0.001) on day 91. The goblet cell density was increased (t-test: t = -9.981, P < 0.001), and the morphology of the conjunctival epithelium were also improved after SH treatment.
CONCLUSIONSSH significantly improved both symptoms and signs of ocular surface damage in patients with BAC-preserved anti-glaucoma medications treatment. SH could be proposed as a new attempt to reduce ocular surface toxicity, and alleviate symptoms of ocular surface damage in BAC-preserved anti-glaucoma medications treatment.

OBJECTIVETo observe effects of electroacupuncture (EA) of low frequency on heroin-seeking behavior and FosB protein expression in relative brain regions so as to explore the mechanism of EA.
METHODSRat model of relapsing into heroin was established with progressive fixed ratio program, and model rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: a "Sanyinjiao" needle-retention control group, a low frequency and weak EA group, and a low frequency and strong EA group. Heroin-seeking behavior was elicited by conditional clue and small dose of heroin; FosB protein expression was investigated with immunohistochemical technique.
RESULTSAfter treatment, the heroin-seeking behavior induced by conditional clue decreased in the needle-retention control group and the weak EA group, and the heroin-seeking behavior induced by small dose of heroin in the weak EA group significantly reduced as compared with the control group, and FosB protein expression in the nucleus accumbens septi, globus pallidus, basolateral amygdaloid nucleus significantly decreased in the weak EA group, and did not significantly change in the strong EA group; the activity induced by heroin increased as compared with those in the control group and the weak EA group.
CONCLUSIONEA of low frequency and low intensity can cure the heroin-seeking behavior, which is correlated with regulating nervous adaptation of nucleus accumbens septi, basolateral amygdaloid nucleus, etc..

Journal of Experimental Hematology 2012;20(2):416-420
Getting a HLA-matched donor is a key factor for successful hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. People are almost semi-matched with their parents, while a person HLA-matched with his/her father or mother was rarely seen, if so, usually whose father and mother are genetically related. HLA-low resolution for patients and their relatives were performed using PCR-SSP technique and three patients were found HLA-matched with their father in these results. One of them accepted hematopoietic stem cell transplantation using his HLA-matched father as his donor. The results showed that the chimerism was detected as stable complete donor chimerism, fusing gene of MLL-ENL was detected all negatively in the post-transplant period. This case got well hematopoietic reconstruction and GVHD didn't occur, so far he has survived for two years in health conditioning. It is concluded that people HLA-matched with his/her father or mother can be found when there is one identical haplotype of high frequency and strong linkage disequilibrium between father and mother. This case is valuable for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation development.
