Objective To evaluate the value of measurement of the width of pars compacta of substantia nigra(SNc) and SNc's ratio to midbrain diameter in diagnosing Parkinson's disease(PD) and differentiating PD from vascular parkinsonism(VP) on routine MRI.Methods The width of SNc, midbrain diameter, and SNc's ratio to midbrain diameter were measured in 60 patients with PD (38 patients with Hoehn-Yahr stage Ⅰ～Ⅱ, 14 patients with Hoehn-Yahr stage Ⅲ, and 8 patients with Hoehn-Yahr stage Ⅳ), 60 patients with VP (26 patients with Hoehn-Yahr stage Ⅰ～Ⅱ, 20 patients with Hoehn-Yahr stage Ⅲ, and 14 patients with Hoehn-Yahr stage Ⅳ), and 60 age-matched heathly control subjects by means of routine axial T 2-weighted MRI. BACKGROUND:As a new self-synthetized medical orthopedic fixation material, micron traditional Chinese medicine functional lining material can promote the secretion of alkaline phosphatase and cal us formation, decrease serum calcium level, as wel as increase serum phosphorus level and calcium-phosphorus product. OBJECTIVE:To further verify the therapeutic effect of micron traditional Chinese medicine functional lining material on fracture healing. METHODS:Twenty-four New Zealand rabbits were selected to prepare models of right radial fracture, and then were randomly al ocated into four groups:rabbits in micron group were treated with micron traditional Chinese medicine functional lining material (micron Panax notoginseng powder mixed with active ingredients of Daval ia divaricata and Carthamus tinctoriousplus) plus plaster external fixation;those in traditional Chinese medicine control group treated with ordinary Chinese medicine functional material plus plaster external fixation;those in lining material control group treated with ordinary lining material (sterile degreasing cotton) plus plaster external fixation;those in model control group received no treatment. The whole blood viscosity at high/middle/low shear rates and plasma viscosity were detected at 2, 4 and 6 weeks before and after modeling. Additional y, rabbits in each group were kil ed at 6 weeks after modeling, and radial samples were removed for histological observation. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The whole blood viscosity at high/middle/low shear rates and plasma viscosity in the micron group were al lower than those in the other three groups in the same period, and had significant differences from those in the model control group at 4 and 6 weeks after modeling (P<0.05 or 0.01). A large number of osteoblasts could be found, woven bone began to form and the bone marrow cavity was recanalized in the micron group;in the traditional Chinese medicine group, woven bone, chondrocytes and endochondral ossification coexisted and there was a connection between cal uses inside and outside of the broken end, but the bone marrow cavity was not recanalized. In contrast, neither connection between cal uses inside and outside of the broken end, nor recanalized bone marrow cavity appeared in the lining material and model control groups. In conclusion, micron traditional Chinese medicine functional lining material can promote fracture healing by improving microcirculation and accelerating osteoblast proliferation.

Objective To study the clinical value of treatment for malignant bone tumors by interventional chemoembolization combined radiotherapy.Methods Forty-four patients with malignant bone tumors were divided into two groups.In the study group(group A),29 cases were treated by infusion of lipiodol with chemotherapeutic drugs,and the tumor feeding arteries were embolized with PVA partials and Gelatin sponge or steel coils,then regional radiotherapy were administered regularly.In the control group(group B),15 cases received radiotherapy and systemic chemotherapy.All the cases were followed up for 6 to 36 months.Results Marked improvement of the symptoms and tumors decreased in size and volume in patients of group A was noticed.Six of them were operated successfully.The 6-,12-,36-month local control rates in group A were 3.5%,13.8% and 51.7%.and the(6-),12-,36-month survival rates were 100.0%,93.1% and 48.3%.The difference of local control rates and the difference of survival rates between the two groups were significant(P

Objective To investigate whether the hyper-reactivity of monocytes from the patients with primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) to LPS and Poly I ∶ C was associated with miR-146a.Methods Peripheral blood mononuclear cells from PBC patients and healthy controls were stimulated with 10 μg/ml of LPS or Poly I ∶ C.The levels of IL-1 β,IL-6,TNF-α and IFN-α in the culture medium were detected by ELISA.The relative expressions of miR-146a,miR-21,let-7e,miR-155 and miR-125b were detected by RT-PCR.The regulatory role of miR-146a on the production of inflammatory factors in LPS or Poly I ∶ C stimulated THP-1 cells was studied by gain-and-loss function assay.Results The up-regulation of miR146a,which was induced by both LPS or Poly I ∶ C,was impaired in the monocytes from PBC patients.The production of LPS or Poly I ∶ C induced inflammatory factor,could be enhanced by miR-146a down-regulation.Conclusion The hyper-reactivity of monocytes from PBC patients to LPS and Poly I ∶ C was associated with miR-146a.

Objective To explore the change of microRNA let-7b in heat acclimatization/heat stroke rat models and its relation with HSP70,IL-6,TNF-α,TGF-3 and IL-12,and analyze its clinical significance.Methods 60 male rats with almost the same anal temperature,weight,and weeks' age were selected from Laboratory Animal Center in the Second Military Medical University.They were randomly divided into control,heat acclimatization,heat stroke groups averagely.Heat acclimatization/heat stroke rat models were built in hot climate simulated animal tank,blood was collected from cordis apex and serum was separated.Real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was used to test microRNA let-7b in serum,enzyme-linked immunosorbent reaction (ELISA) was to measure the protein level of HSP70,IL-6,TNF-α,TGF-β and IL-12 in serum.Kruskal-Wallis H test was used to analyze quantitative data in the three groups,Spearman rank correlation coefficient was used to reveal relation between two variables in heat stroke group.Results M values of miRNA let-7b in control,heat acclimatization,heat stroke groups were 0.99,1.04 and 1.93 separately,Q values were 0.30,0.25 and 0.44 (x2 =38.95,P＜0.001),separately,with statistical significance.The results of pairwise comparison showed no statistical difference in control and heat acclimatization (P＞0.05),but there were differences in control and heat stroke,heat acclimatization and heat stroke groups statistically (P＜0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that in heat stroke group,let-7b was positively related with HSP70,TNF-α and IL-6 (rs =0.579,0.498 and 0.609,P＜0.05) with statistical significance.Conclusion miR let-7b might involve in the pathology of heat stroke,it provided a potential biomarker for monitoring patients in high temperature and humidity clinically.

Objective To study the effects of case-based learning (CBL) teaching method combined with network on orthodontic postgraduate clinical ability training. Methods Totally 40 ortho-dontic postgraduates were randomly divided into 2 groups (20 per group) named as experimental group (EG) and control group(CG). EG involved in CBL combined with network teaching method,while CG with CBL method only. after 5 teaching cycles,test scores of two groups were analyzed with SPSS 22.0. Results Average scores were (86.60 ±9.71) in EG and (85.45 ±10.79) in CG ,without statistical differences (P=0.73). Pass rate of two groups were 95.00% and 90.00% ,without statistical differences (P=1.00); As for the questionnaire survey, most of the students (90.00%) in EG considered CBL com-bined with network teaching method had no confliction with the clinical time,and helped to carry out in-depth clinical topic discussion. What was more,all of them (100.00%) in EG believed network facilitate their learning. Only part of them (60.00%) in EG thought that they spent a lot of time on reference material preparation. Conclusions Both CBL combined with network teaching method and CBL method can improve the clinical ability of orthodontic postgraduates significantly. However, CBL combined with network teaching method has advantages over time management, knowledge learning and resource sharing.

This study aimed to analyze the effect of the external method of tonifying kidney and promoting blood circulation on endometrial morphology of rats with kidney deficiency and blood stasis model. A total of 50 normal healthy unmated female SD rats of proestrus were selected with vaginal smear. Rats were randomly divided into the blank group, model group, high dose group and low dose group with the prescription of tonifying kidney and promoting blood circulation and theWu-Zi (WZ) group. Except the blank group, intragastric administration of hydroxyurea was given to other group to establish the kidney deficiency model. Meanwhile, clyster of distilled water was given to the blank group and the model group. And clyster of high dose and low dose prescription of tonifying kidney and promoting blood circulation was given to the high dose and low dose group, respectively. The intragastric administrations ofWu-Zi Yan-Zong(WZYZ) pills were given to theWu-Zi (WZ) group. On the 4th day of pregnancy, 10% of the macromolecule dextran was quickly injected to the caudal vein to induce blood stasis model 1 hour after the last medication administration. The uterus tissue section was observed by HE dyeing. The results showed that the thickness of covering epithelium of endometrium in the model group was lower than the blank group (P < 0.05). There were significant differences on the thickness of covering epithelium of endometrium in the high dose group and low dose group with the prescription of tonifying kidney and promoting blood circulation, the WZ group and the model group (P < 0.01). The sum of gland number and gland area as well as the maximum diameter / minimum diameter of the model group was significantly lower than that of the blank group (P< 0.05, orP < 0.01). The shape factor was the closest to “1”, which had significant difference compared with the blank group (P < 0.01). Compared with the model group, the sum of gland number and glandular lumen of the high dose and low dose group were increased at different levels (P < 0.05, orP < 0.01). The sum of gland number, glandular lumen area, shape factor, and maximum diameter / minimum diameter of WZ group had significant difference compared with the model group (P < 0.05, orP < 0.01). The sum of interstitial cells’ nucleus area, integral optical density of interstitial cells’ nucleus and number of interstitial blood vessels in the high dose and low dose group were significantly higher compared to the model group (P < 0.05, orP < 0.01). The sum of interstitial cells’ nucleus area and the integral optical density of interstitial cells’ nucleus in the WZ group were obviously higher than the model group (P < 0.01). It was concluded that the external method of tonifying kidney and promoting blood circulation can effectively improve the endometrial morphology of kidney-deficiency and blood-stasis rat model, promote the synchronous development of endometrial gland and stroma, in order to play a role to improve the endometrial receptivity.

Objective To provide a basis for specific intervention by dynamic observation of the households'related health life behavior and the children fluorosis change trend caused by the coal-burning-borne endemic fluorosis in Pu'an County.Methods Three villages were chosen using simple random sampling method in 2011-2013 for continuous monitoring.Every monitoring year in each monitoring village,according to the principle of every household survey,10 households were selected to survey related health life behavior;,and in the monitoring village all the children aged 8-12 years old were selected for Diagnosis of Dental Fluorosis (WS/T 208-2001),and in each age group,10 urine samples (half male half female) were collected,the fluoride content was determined by the ion selective electrode method (WS/T 89-1996).Results In 2011-2013,the households stoves qualified rate,stoves correct usage rate and the corn or chili correct drying rate were all 100.00％ (30/30).The dental fluorosis incidences of 8-12 years old children were 63.60％ (332/522),25.44％ (173/680) and 14.29％ (80/560),respectively,decreased year by year (x2 =324.67,P ＜ 0.05).In 2011-2013,children urinary fluoride levels were 0.83,0.84 and 0.68 mg/L,respectively.The difference between years was statistically significant (x2 =26.89,P ＜ 0.05),and the level in 2013 was significantly lower than those of 2011 and 2012 (all P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion In 2011-2013,the residents in Pu'an have good health life behavior,and the condition of children's dental fluorosis is decreased year by year.

Objective: To explore the personality traits, emotions, and cognitive factors related to the trends of computer game addiction and cyber-relationship addiction.
