AIM　To analyse the essential oil components of Thymus quinquecostatus Celak. METHODS　Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry were used. RESULTS　A total of 78 components were separated. 34 of them were identified, which accounted for 95.93% of the total peak area. The main constituents are o-cymene, carvacrol, caryophyllene, 2-isopropyl-1-methoxy-4-methylbenzene and γ-terpene. CONCLUSION　Thymus quinquecostatus Celak has perfume and medical development value.

Objective To observe the effect applicated of endoscopic sinus joint laryngoscope in laryngeal microsurgery.Methods 68 patients with laryngeal lesions were randomly divided into the multi-mirror combination group (34 cases) and the single laryngoscope group (34 cases).The multi-mirror combination group was taken with laryngeal microsurgery under endoscopic Joint laryngoscope.The single laryngoscope group was only taken with laryngeal microsurgery under laryngoscope.The efficacy and surgical situation of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the multi-mirror combination group was 97.06％,which was significantly higher than that of the single-laryngoscope group (85.30％) (x2 =4.031,P ＜ 0.05).Compared with the case of surgery and complications and recurrence rate,the multi-mirror combination group was superior to the single laryngoscope group (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The endoscopic joint laryngoscope has the function of expanding the scope of the operative field and increasing the focus and clarity,and also has the advantages of small traumatic for patients,fewer complications,low recurrence rate,easy operation and high accuracy.

Objective To assess the clinical effects and adverse reactions of different regimens of chemotherapies for elderly patients with advanced gastric cancer. Methods 95 elderly patients with advanced gastric cancer were randomly divided into 3 groups. The regimens of OLF,OX and HCF were used to treat 38 patients,25 patients and 32 patients respectively. The short-term curative effects and side effects on tumor were gradeded according to the criteria formulated by WHO. The curative effects and adverse reactions were assessed and the time of disease progression was calculated at least 2 cycles after chemotherapy. Results The efficacy rate was 55.26%, 60. 00% and 53. 13% respectively,and statistical analysis showed no significant difference(P ＞ 0.05). The time of disease progress was 23,30 and 24 weeks respectively, there were significant differences (P ＜ 0.05). The major side effect were neutropenia, gastrointestinal reactions, and were able to be tolerated without a chemotherapy-related death. Conclusion Three regimens of chemotherapies had better curative effects and mild side effects for elderly patients with advanced gastric cancer,and could improve the quality of life of the patients,and are worth of clinical promotion.

AIM: To discuss the mechanism of action of Zhiyu Granules on treating diabetic peripheral neuritis. METHODS: The model of diabetic peripheral neuritis in mice was induced by streptozotocin.The effect of Zhiyu Granules on the contents of sciatic nerve inositol in model mice through ELSD(evaporative light scattering detector) was examined,and the activity of Na~+-K~+ pump in sciatic nerve was measured,and the activity of SOD and the contents of MDA in erythrocytes were detected,and the ultrastructures of sciatic nerve,pancreas and kidney in model mice were observed by electric microscope. RESULTS: Zhiyu Granules could increase the contents of sciatic nerve inositol in model rats,and enhance the activity of Na~+-K~+ pump,and improve the ultrastructures of sciatic nerve and pancreas cell.Zhiyu Granules couldn't improve the ultrastructure of renal corpuscles,or affect the activity of SOD and the contents of MDA in erythrocytes of model mice yet. CONCLUSION: Zhiyu Granules is effective in clinical treatment of diabetic peripheral neuritis.

Objective To investigate network user's attention rate of the keyword“cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases”(CCD). Methods The keyword was analyzed by using Baidu index. Results The overall trend of keyword search rose slightly. The mobile search grew significantly. During the Spring Festival overall search decreased significantly. According to clustering analysis the word“symptom”was most often used with“CCD”;30 to 39 years old age group accounted for about 50%of total number of online search. Men accounted for 70% of all keyword search, women accounted for 30%. The rankings of CCD search number were more on top in the economically developed area. Conclusion It is necessary to strengthen publicity and education to prevent the happening of CCD during Spring Festival. Men need to raise awareness about CCD. The construction of rural informatization should be speeded up. Network education could be used as a part of method for the primary and secondary prevention of CCD. Keyword analysis method could effectively analyze the network user search behavior and find information they need.

Objective To study the effects of cinobufacin(cino) combined with fluorouracil(5-FU) on inhibiting proliferation and inducing apoptosis of human gastric carcinoma cells in vitro. Methods The experiment was divided into control group,cinobufacin group,5-FU group and cino+5-FU group. Cell morphological variation,cell inhibitory rate, cell cycle and ratio of apoptotic cell of human gastric carcinoma cell line BGC-823 were studied by cell culture, inverse microscopy, fluoroscopy, MTT assay and flow cytometry on different concentrations of cino and 5-FU. Results Cino could markably inhibit proliferation of human gastric carcinoma cells in time-and dose-dependent response. Aim To investigate the role of chemokine-like factor 1 ( CKLF1 ) in SH-SY5 Y cell migration and its molecular regulatory mechanism. Methods SH-SY5Y cells were stimulated with CKLF1 for 0. 5 h, 2 h, 8 h and 24 h, respectively. The migration distance and the percentage of migration cells were recorded by CELLocate analysis. The phosphorylation of focal ad-hesion kinase ( FAK) at Tyr-397 site was detected by Western blot analysis. By chemotaxis assays, we con-firmed the chemotaxis of CKLF1. Furthermore, FAK inhibitor PF-573228 and PLCγ inhibitor U73122 were used for the research of molecular regulatory mecha-nisms involved. Results CKLF1 promoted cell migra-tion and induced a strong increase in the phosphoryla-tion level of FAK-pY397 , which were significantly at-tenuated by the presence of U73122 ( a specific inhibi-tor for PLCγ) . In addition, the chemotaxis of CKLF1 was obviously blocked by the FAK inhibitor PF-573228 . Conclusion CKLF1 induces SH-SY5 Y cell migration via PLCγ/FAK signaling pathway.

To evaluate the efficacy of a variety of lacrimal duct obstruction diseases treated by Nd: YAG laser lacrimal duct forming surgery using Meta analysis.
●METHODS: Relevant database in 1995 - 2012 and other network resources were retrieved by computer and manual, using MetaAnalyst software on the Meta analysis. Analysis of indicators: disease prevalence between men and women, the prevalence of various lacrimal duct diseases and the effective rate of Nd: YAG laser lacrimal duct forming surgery to treat a variety of lacrimal duct obstruction diseases.
●RESULTS: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 38 subjects were selected, the cumulative number of patients included 4638 cases, the men combined prevalence was 23%; the women combined prevalence was 77%; lacrimal punctum occlusion combined prevalence was 6. 0%, combined treatment efficiency was 88. 1%; lacrimal canaliculus obstruction combined prevalence of 17. 9%, combined efficiency was 85. 6%;lacrimal common canaliculus obstruction combined prevalence was 14. 0%, 92. 7% of the combined effective rate; nasolacrimal duct obstruction combined prevalence of was 43. 6%, 93. 3% of the combined effective rate;chronic dacryocystitis combined prevalence was 18. 4%, 76. 6% of the combined efficiency. All study has heterogeneity. Selection of random effects model combined effect size. Model was statistically significant (P<0. 001).
●CONCLUSlON: The prevalence of lacrimal duct obstruction diseases of women are higher than men, lacrimal canaliculus obstruction in the lacrimal duct obstruction is in the lowest prevalence, nasolacrimal duct obstruction is the main type of lacrimal duct obstruction disease, Nd: YAG laser lacrimal forming surgery has slightly efficacy different in various lacrimal duct obstruction diseases.
