Cerebral ischemia is due to cerebral blood supply disorders caused by ischemia and hypoxia resulting in localized ischemic brain necrosis or brain softening of the disease, leading to irreversible brain damage and subsequent loss of neuronal function is a serious threat to human health One of several diseases. For patients with cerebral ischemia, often the lack of effective and extensive treatment. In addition, cerebral ischemia with morbidity, morbidity and mortality are characterized by high, so by the medical profession at home and abroad attention. As a traditional Chinese medicine, cordyceps sinensis (CS) is a complex of ergot fungus, which is parasitized on the larvae of the bat-moth family. The compound is composed of cordycepin, cordyceps polysaccharide, cordyceps sinensis peptides, ergosterol, mannitol, fatty acids and trace elements such as a variety of ingredients, with a wide range of pharmacological effects. Over the years, domestic and foreign scholars on the pharmacological effects of cordyceps sinensis were more comprehensive study of its prevention and treatment of cerebral ischemia is also deepening, found that cordyceps sinensis on cerebral ischemia with anti-inflammatory, reduce oxidative damage and neuronal ischemia damage, reduce neuronal apoptosis, improve memory cognition, reduce thrombosis, inhibit NO production, enhance mitochondrial energy supply, scavenging free radicals and other prevention and treatment. But no relevant review. In this paper, the domestic and foreign literatures on the prevention and treatment of cerebral ischemia by cordyceps sinensis were summarized, analyzed and summarized in order to provide useful information for the research and further development of cordyceps sinensis.

OBJECTIVETo study the activation of platelets in children with Kawasaki disease (KD) at molecular level.
METHODSThe expression of platelet surface glycoproteins CD(41), CD(42a), CD(61), CD(62p) and CD(63) in 20 KD patients was measured by flow cytometry before and at 1, 2, 3 week after treatment with aspirin and high-dose (1 approximately 2 g/kg) intravenous gamma-globulin (IVIG).
RESULTSThe expression of glycoprotein CD(41), CD(42a), CD(61), CD(62p) and CD(63) were higher in KD group than in control group. Aspirin and IVIG could not inhibit these high expression of glycoproteins. Higher expression of CD(62p) was observed in patients with coronary artery injury.
CONCLUSIONPlatelets were highly activated in KD patients which may be one of the most important pathophysiological step in KD. It provided a theoretical basis for treatment of KD with antagonist of glycoprotein of platelets. Obviously increase of CD(62p) can be taken as a criterion for predicting coronary artery injury in KD patients.

Journal of Southern Medical University 2008;28(5):687-691
OBJECTIVETo investigate the correlation between power Doppler vascularity index (PDVI) and microvessel density (MVD) and evaluate the angiogenesis in high-grade gliomas and the adjacent edema in patients with glioma using intraoperative power Doppler ultrasound (PDUS) during gross total resection.
METHODSIn 25 cases of high-grade gliomas undergoing gross total tumor resections, PDUS was performed intraoperatively and the regions of interest within the tumor and the adjacent edema were analyzed with Photoshop software to measure the tumoral and peritumoral blood flow quantified as PDVI. The tumoral and adjacent MVD were determined using immunohistochemical staining for CD34. The correlation between PDVI in the gliomas and the adjacent edema and MVD in the corresponding areas were analyzed using Spearman correlation test.
RESULTSThe measurement of both PVDI and MVD revealed significant difference in vascularity between the gliomas and the adjacent edema (t=0.000, P<0.01), and PDVI was positively correlated to MVD measurement (r=0.7248 in the tumors and r=0.6608 in the adjacent edema).
CONCLUSIONSThe difference in the vascularity between the tumor and adjacent edema allows their distinction by PDUS during operation for high-grade glioma. Intraoperative PDUS provides an accurate and reliable means for measuring vascularity in the glioma and the adjacent edema tissue.

Objective:In order to accurately evaluate the postoperative rehabilitation of gynecological robotic surgery, a prediction model for evaluating postanesthesia care unit (PACU) extubation time and hospital stay in gynecological robotic surgery was established. Methods:The clinical data of gynecological patients who underwent robotic surgery in Xiangya Third Hospital of Central South University from October 2015 to May 2017 were retrospectively analyzed, and the data were screened to evaluate the postoperative recovery of patients from two aspects: PACU extubation time and postoperative hospital stay. Binary logistic regression was used to screen out the factors affecting PACU extubation time and postoperative hospital stay, and the prediction model was preliminarily established and verified. Results:Finally, there were 456 patients and 30 variables analyzed in the binary logistics regression. According to these variables, the prediction model of the postoperative recovery evaluation after gynecological robotic surgical procedures was established. Among them, age, intraoperative amount of atracurium and midazolam were independent risk factors affecting PACU extubation time (all P<0.05). American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade, intraoperative amount of midazolam, intraoperative bleeding and operation time were independent risk factors affecting postoperative hospital stay (all P<0.05). All models passed Hosmer lemeshow test (all P>0.05); The areas under the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) were 0.647 and 0.806, respectively. Conclusions:The prediction model of PACU extubation time and the postoperative hospitalization time has been established.

Objective Studies on cardia-cancer caused by hereditary factors. Methods Case-control method was adopted, with information including name, sex, date of birth, date of death of all the Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ relatives of the patients, diagnosis and the treatment collected. The hereditary probability of cardia cancer and the separation degree were calculated by Falconer and Li-Mentel-Gart. Results (1) Prevalence rates of cardia-cancer on relative Ⅰ,relative Ⅱ,relative Ⅲ of cardia-cancer patients appeared to be 0.54%,0.04%,and 0.05% respectively. Prevalence rates of upper-digestive-tract-cancer of relative Ⅰ,relative Ⅱ,relative Ⅲ of cardia-cancer patients showed as: 2.50%,0.36% and 0.13% respectively. Data showed that relative Ⅰ> relative Ⅱ> relative Ⅲ and family cluster existed in both males and females. (2) Cardia-cancer hereditary probability of the relative Ⅰ cardia-cancer probands was 11.71%,with males as 14.01% and females as 14.72%. The upper-digestive-tract-cancer hereditary probability of the relative Ⅰ cardia-cancer probands was 13.87%,with males as 11.49% and females as 23.08%,both below 25%,indicating this was a low hereditary cancer. (3) The upper-digestive-tract-cancer separation of the blood compatriots of cardia-cancer patients was 0.0452,with males as 0.0441 and females as 0.0507,both below 0.25,indicating the nature of a multi-gene but not single-gene hereditary way. Conclusion Hereditary factor is recognized as one of the high risk cardia cancer, but not the most risky factor causing the high morbidity of cardia cancer in Shanxi province.
