Urothelial carcinoma associated antigen 1(UCA1)is a highly bladder cancer-specific long non-coding RNA(lncRNA),and it does not have the function of encoding protein. UCA1 differentially expre-sses in various fetal tissues, but its expression is turned off in most adult tissues. It reactivates during tumori-genesis. Researches indicate that UCA1 may regulate cell proliferation, apoptosis, metastasis and chemoresis-tance of tumors, such as bladder cancer, breast cancer and hepatocellular cancer.

Objective To compare the effects of mild hypothermia or normothermia on inflammatory cytokines (IL-2 and IL-10) in elderly patients undergoing surgery for rectal cancer, and determine whether the elevation of IL-2 and IL-10 levels and early postoperative cognitive dysfunction has the relevant. Methods Forty ASA classification Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients aged 65-83 yr undergoing surgery for rectal cancer were randomly divided into 2 groups (n=20 each):normal body temperature group (GroupⅠ) and mild hypothermia group (GroupⅡ) . The venous blood samples were taken at 3 points which were at 1 h before anesthesia (T1), the end of operation (T2) and the 24h after operation (T3) to measure the levels of plasma IL-2 and IL-10. The cognitive function test (MMSE) were performed at one day before operation (N1), one day after operation (N2) and 3th days after operation (N3) . Results The level of plasma IL-2 was significantly lower in the GroupⅡthan that in the GroupⅠat T2 and T3 ( < 0.01), and those was significantly lower at T3 than that at T2 ( <0.01) . The level of plasma IL-10 was significantly higher in the GroupⅡat T3 than that at T1 and T2 ( <0.01) . To compare with N1, the score of both groups were decreased at N2 ( <0.05), and it was lower in GroupⅡthan that in GroupⅠ( <0.05), with a significant difference. The score of both groups were increased significantly at N3 (<0.05), and there was significant difference with N2 ( <0.05);Positive correlation was found between IL-2 at T2 and T3 and the score of MMSE in the GroupⅡat N2 ( =0.459, <0.01) ( =0.550, <0.01) . Conclusion Positive correlations were found between the elevation of IL-2 levels under mild hypothermia and the decline of postoperative early cognitive function in elderly undergoing rectal cancer surgery.

Objective To compare the effects of neutral posture training (NPT) and gas resistance training on balance and motor func-tion in stroke patients. Methods From June, 2014 to February, 2016, 44 hemiplegic patients were randomly divided into control group (n=22) and experimental group (n=22). The control group received conventional decubitus trunk muscle training and sitting gas resistance train-ing. The experimental group received NPT. They were assessed with Fugl-Meyer Assessment-Upper Extremities (FMA-UE), Fugl-Meyer Assessment-Lower Extremities (FMA-LE), and Berg Balance Scale (BBS) before and after training. Results There was no significant differ-ence in the scores of FMA-UE, FMA-LE and BBS between two groups (t<0.962, P>0.05). The scores significantly increased after training in both groups (t>12.248, P<0.001), and were higher in the experimental group than in the control group (t>1.972, P<0.05). Conclusion The NPT could improve the motor and balance function of stroke patients, rather than gas resistance training.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(3):295-298
The bladder meridian of foot-taiyang is considered as key of six meridians and the yang of the yang, which is the pivot of transportation for qi and blood in the meridians and zang-fu. The running route and treatment characteristic of bladder meridian is closely related with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). The bladder meridian belongs to brain and connects with governor vessel, which has a close relationship with zang-fu function, quality of sleep and fatigue. Besides, the running route of bladder meridian is highly consistent with the surface projections of important anatomical structures such as muscle, nerve and sympathetic trunk, etc. Therefore, regulating the meridian-qi of bladder meridian can harmonize five-zang and calm the mind, but also effectively relieve physical and mental fatigue in CFS.

Objective:To study crown-root morphology of maxillary anterior teeth in ClassⅡ,division 2 malocclusion using cone-beam CT (CBCT)combined with computer aided measurement technology to provide guidance for clinical treatment. Methods:The samples which consisted of 36 cases radiographed with CBCT techniques were selected and divided into two groups (1 8 each )based on the type of maloc-clusion presented:ClassⅡ,division 2 group (groupⅡ2)and ClassⅠgroup (groupⅠ).The measure-ments of crown-root morphology including crown-root angle and surface-shaft angle were got by Multiple Planer Reconstruction of CBCT data uploaded into InvivoDental software 5.0.The data were processed with SPSS 20.0 software package and t test was employed for comparison of angular measurements. Results:In group Ⅰ,crown-root angles of maxillary central incisor, maxillary lateral incisor and maxillary canines were 1 79.08°±3.31 °,1 76.55°±2.77°and 1 84.20°±2.51 °respectively, surface-shaft angles were 21 .00°±2.63°,1 9.63°±2.35°and 1 9.36°±2.30°respectively. While in group Ⅱ 2 ,crown-root angles of maxillary central incisor, maxillary lateral incisor and maxillary canines were 1 76.80°±2.62°,1 74.1 3°±3.28°and 1 81 .79°±2.88°respectively, surface-shaft angles were 23.20°±2.95°,22.29°±2.1 9°and 20.61 °±2.34°respectively. Compared with group Ⅰ,significant statistical differences were observed with the exception of sur-face-shaft angle of maxillary incisor. There was significant difference in crown-root angle between group Ⅱ2 and 1 80 °.Conclusion:The maxillary anterior teeth in ClassⅡ,division 2 malocclusion exhibited significant crown-root morphology which would influence the torque after orthodontic treat-ment.Special attention should be paid to the position of maxillary anterior teeth roots during ortho-dontic treatment for Class Ⅱ,division 2 malocclusion. The ideal position of tooth movement should be decided by the root rather than the location of the crowns.
