Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(01):-
AIM: To study the pharmacodynamics of Guanhuang Ganmao Capsule. METHODS: Antiviral effect of Guanhuang Ganmao Capsule was investigated by infecting chicken embryo with N_1H_1; its antipyretic action was evaluated with rabbit pyrogentic test induced by bacterial endotoxin; anti-inflammation by rats swelling test with injection of 1% agar and mice abdominal capillary permeability test with dimethylbanzene; the antitussive activities were investigated through testing cough times induced by ammonium hydroxide and sulfur dioxide in mice; the expectorant activities of it were studied by testing the amount of phlegm secreted in mice; The antibacterial effects in vivo were evaluated in mice with induced systematic infection. RESULTS: Guanhuang Ganmao Capsules had obvious antiviral action, antipyretic action, anti-inflammation and antitussive action. It took expectorant effect. The capsules markedly reduced death rate of staphylococcus aureus infection in mice. CONCLUSION: Guanhuang Ganmao Capsules possess antiviral; antipyretic; antitussive and expectorant effects as well as anti-inflammation
3.Study on Heal-promoting Action of Liuwei Aloe Ointment on Infectious Burning and Blanching Wound
China Pharmacy 2001;0(10):-
OBJECTIVE:To study the heal-promoting action of liuwei aloe ointment on infectious burning and blanching wound.METHODS:The model rats with third-degree burn infected with staphylococcus aureus and the model mice with superficial second-degree burn infected with bacillus pyocyaneus were randomly divided into excipient group,Jingwanhong positive control group, and liuwei aloe low, medium, and high dose group,with10rats and mice in each group. The wound area and the wound healing time were recorded, and the wound healing rate was calculated. The healing wound was evaluated by histopathological scoring.RESULT:Liuwei aloe ointment at different doses could all significantly promote the heal ofburn wound(P

National Journal of Andrology 2016;22(5):455-461
The diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer are being improved due to the popularized screening of prostate specific antigen. Advanced prostate cancer, in spite of its response to androgen deprivation therapy, may finally develop into castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) and shorten the overall survival of the patients. Many efforts have been made by worldwide researchers for new approaches to the management of CRPC, including new hormonal therapy, cytotoxic chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and bone metastasis-targeted therapy. This paper reviews the emerging agents undergoing clinical evaluation and drugs that have received approval for the treatment of CRPC in order to provide doctors and patients with more treatment options for CRPC and improve the overall survival rate and quality of life of the patients.

Chinese Journal of Trauma 2013;29(10):924-927
Objective To investigate the influence of abaI expression on acinetobacter baumannii biofilm formation. Methods Acinetobacter baumannii strain S isolated from bums patients was collected for the study, while the standard strain ATCC19606 was served as the control. At 6,24 and 48 hours, the gene expressions of abaI,pgaA,pgaB and pgaC were detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative PT-PCR,secretion of N-acyl-homoserine lactones (AHLs) by biological sensor and biofilm formation by MTT method. Results (1) Gene expressions of abaI,pgaA,pgaB and pgaC at 6 hours were 8.63 ±5.93,1.98 ± 1.93,1.01 ± 1.32 and 2.67 ± 3.46 respectively, which showed a quick increase at 24 hours (22.81 ± 17.60,5.13 ± 4.32,5.66 ± 3.97,11.97 ± 7.75 respectively),followed by a rapid decline in 48 hours (3.43 ± 0.88,1.30 ± 0.24,3.01 ± 3.00,3.02 ± 3.29 respectively).Gene expressions of pgaB and pgaC at 6 hours and that of pgaA and pgaC at 48 hours revealed statistically significant differences from those at 24 hours (P < 0.05).(2) AHLs showed a level of 18.49 ± 11.03 at 6 hours, reached a peak of 52.23 ± 15.95 at 24 hours, then descended to 5.53 ± 0.94 at 48 hours.AHLs level at 24 hours showed statistically significant difference from that at 6 hours and 48 hours (P < 0.05).(3)Biofilm formation at 24 hours and 48 hours was 2.83 ±0.44 and 2.71 ±0.15 respectively, far higher than that at 6 hours (0.49 ± 0.11,P < 0.05).(4) In the correlation analysis among AHLs,biofilm formation and gene abaI,pgaA,pgaB and pgaC expressions, significant positive correlation was found between abaI and pgaA and between AHLs and pgaC expression (P < 0.05).Conclusion Acinetobacter baumannii may regulate gene expressions of pgaA and pgaC responsible for biofilm formation to adjust to the external environment by means of changing abaI gene expression and AHLs secretion.

Objective By analyzing the clinical and pathological characteristics of small intestinal neoplasms of patients presenting at our hospital, this study was to improve our cognition of this disease and the prognosis. Methods We collected and reviewed the medical records of 121 patients suffering from small intestinal neoplasms, who underwent surgery at Ruijin hospital from January 2003 to June 2009.Diagnosis was confirmed by pathological examination, and patients were followed-up.Results Intestinal hemorrhage, anemia and abdominal pain were the three main symptoms for all patients.CT,and gastrointestinal endoscopy were valuable for the diagnosis of small intestine neoplasms.Compared with open surgery, laparoscopic procedures can shorten the operation time and the postoperative length of hospital stay. Conclusions Surgical procedure is the key treatment for patients with small intestinal neoplasms.Long term follow-up plays important role in the detection of other synchronous or metachronous gastrointestinal tumors and improves the prognosis.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(05):-
The readjustment of the army establishments has resulted in the mergence of some sanatoriums into hospitals, which has given rise to a novel mode of management and offered a new opportunity for the development of sanatoriums. In the past four years since the mergence of our sanatorium into Nanjing General Hospital in 2004,we explored the mode of integrating recuperation with treatment and combined the resource advantages of ours with the technical superiority of the hospital, which led to an improvement of our competitive ability and comprehensive service and accordingly promoted the overall development of the sanatorium.

[Objective] To investigate the pathogen spectrum and characteristics of diarrheal disea-ses among children under five and to provide the basis for prevention and control measures . [ Methods] From February 2012 to January 2013, a total of 619 cases from 2 sentinel hospitals were collected for case survey .From them were collected stool specimens for detection of enteric pathogenic bacteria and virus nu-cleic acids. [Results] The virus detection rate was norovirus (11.95%), rotavirus(7.27%), enteric adenovirus(2.91%), saporovirus(1.45%) and astrovirus(0.97%).The bacteria detection rate was E. coli(5.65%), nontyphoidal salmonella (2.42%), campylobacter (0.81%), aeromonas hydrophila (0.65%),shigella(0.48%) and yersinia enterocolitica (0.32%).The virus detection rate was 27.70%from August to next March, which showed higher than that of other months (18.48%) (χ2 =7.18,P <0.05).The bacteria detection rate was 15.34%from April to October, showing higher than the rate of oth-er months(3.15%)(χ2 =31.22,P<0.05). [Conclusion] Norovirus is the main pathogen for viral diarrheal diseases in children under five and E .coli is the main pathogen of bacterial diarrheal diseases . All study results suggested that summer and autumn should be as the focus time in prevention and control of bacterial diarrhea , while those of viral diarrhea should cover the whole year .
