Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of overseas imported malaria reported in Chongqing City from 2011 to 2015,so as to provide the evidence for improving the imported malaria control strategies. Methods The epi-demiological data of overseas imported malaria cases were collected and analyzed descriptively for the species, original coun-tries,diagnosis and treatment in Chongqing City from 2011 to 2015. Results A total of 148 overseas imported malaria cases were reported in Chongqing City from 2011 to 2015,in which 96(65.54%)cases were falciparum malaria, and 37(24.32%) cases were vivax malaria;125(84.46%)cases were infected in Africa, and the rest of 23(15.54%)cases were infected in Southeast Asia. Most of the patients were 30 to 50 years old male workmen, and the ratio of male to female was 11.42:1. There was no obvious seasonal distribution among the reported timelines of the cases;however, there were two small peaks from June to August and from January to February. The median interval time of imported malaria cases from malaria onset to see a doctor was 1 day and from seeing the doctor to get malaria diagnosis was 2 days. The patients'first selected institutions were county medical institutions(50 cases,33.78%),then provincial medical institutions(36 cases,24.325%)and private doctors(20 cases,13.51%),and only 79(53.38%)patients got malaria diagnoses in their first selected institutions. The standard treatment were provided to 142(95.54%)cases. There were 43(29.05%)patients had serious complications and three patients were dead. Conclusion It is very important to enhance the multi-sector's collaboration to establish the collaborative investigation mechanism for screening malaria patients, and strengthen malaria health education for overseas workers and training courses in primary care medical institutions.

West China Journal of Stomatology 2014;32(5):436-440
OBJECTIVETo evaluate the role of the combined periodontic-orthodontic treatment in the esthetic reconstruc- tion of the anterior teeth area following periodontitis.
METHODSThirteen adult patients with anterior teeth displacements were treated. The probing pocket depth (PD; 102 teeth, 612 sites), bleeding on probing (102 teeth, 204 sites), papilla index (PI; 128 papillae), and papillary height (PH; 128 papillae) of each patient were assessed at baseline, 3 months after the initial therapy, and the end of the orthodontic treatment. Non-parametric and paired-sample t tests were carried out for the statistical analysis of the data.
RESULTSThree months after initial therapy, the sites with PD ≤ 3 mm accounted for 79.58% (487/612) of the observed teeth, and 88.73% (181/204) of the buccal and lingual sites of the teeth showed negative bleeding on probing. These findings were better than those at baseline [26.31% (161/612) and 22.06% (45/204), respectively] (P < 0.05), but no sig- nificant difference was observed compared with pro-orthodontic treatment (P > 0.05). Prior to orthodontic treatment, the levels of the PI of 8 and 21 papillae were III and II, respectively, among the 128 observed papillae. After the orthodontic treatment, 51 papillae were at level III and 68 papillae were at level II. The PH of the 102 papillae was 2.84 mm ± 0.62 mm after ortho- dontic treatment. This result indicated significant difference compared with that of pre-orthodontic treatment (1.69 mm ± 0.57 mm) (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONAfter initial therapy, moderate orthodontic teeth movements may reconstruct the interproximal soft tissue, with esthetic improvement of the papillary level and resolution of the periodontal defects.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinical results of external fixation and AO titanium elastic intramedullary nailing for treatment of tibia-fibula comminuted closed fractures.
METHODSFrom June 2010 to June 2012,58 patients with tibia-fibula comminuted closed fractures were treated with external fixation and AO titanium elastic intramedullary nailing, including 31 males and 27 females with an average age of 38.5 years old ranging from 21 to 57 years old. According to the system of AO Classification, the fractures were classified as type B1 in 9 cases, type B2 in 7 cases, type B3 in 10 cases, type Cl in 14 cases, type C2 in 12 cases, and type C3 in 6 cases. According to the system of Winquist-Hanson,the fractures' comminuted were classified as grade 1 in 23 cases, grade 2 in 17 cases, grade 3 in 12 cases, and grade 4 in 6 cases. According to the system of Johner-Wruhs, clinical results were compared between different type and grade groups by the time of last followed-up.
RESULTSAll 58 patients were followed up with an average time of 6.8 months (ranged from 18 to 36 weeks). All fractures had clinical healing with an average time of 28 weeks (ranged from 24 to 32 weeks). The total rate of good to excellent results was 91.4%. The rate of good to excellent in the group of grade 1 was higher than that of other grades. The complication rates and fracture healing time would increase respectively with higher Winquist-Hanson's grade. The complication rates in the group of type C3 was higher than that of other types, but the rate of good to excellent was lower than that of other types. The complication rates in the group of type B1 was lower than that of other types, but the rate of good to excellent was higher than that of other types.
CONCLUSIONMinimal invasiveusing AO titanium elastic intramedullary nailing combined with external fixation for treatment of tibia-fibula fractures especially for the multiple-segment,long spiral mild-to-moderate comminuted with hidden fracture can get satisfactory reduction and reliable fixation,it conformes to the principle of BO completely, protects the fracture end blood supply, reduces the external fixation time, has less skin soft tissue complications, postoperative function recovered satisfactorily.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 2017;33(2):178-185
Objective:To explore the mechanism of the cytotoxicity of human NK cells induced by atorvastatin to colon cancer cell lines. Methods:After colon cancer cells (HCT-116,SW-480,Caco-2) were cultured with different concentrations of atorvastatin, CCK-8 assay was used to assess the effect of atorvastatin on growth of colon cancer cells. The amplification of human NK cells was induced by SCGM medium in vitro. Automatic biochemical analyzer was applied to test the cytotoxicity of NK cells to colon cancer cells which cultured with different concentration of atorvastatin. FCM was used to detect the expression rate of MICA/B on the cells. Results:(1) The cultivation of NK cells:The proportion of NK cells attained to 93. 1% from 4. 5% after cultured for 10 days. (2) The effects of atorvastatin on the growth of the colon cancer cells:After cultured with atorvastatin, the inhibition rate of HCT-116 cells was higher than that in control when the density of atorvastatin increased from 5 μmol/L to 40 μmol/L after 48 h and from 1. 25 μmol/L to 40 μmol/L after 96 h ( P<0. 05 ) . Correlation analysis showed that the concentration of atorvastatin and the growth inhibition rate of HCT-116 cells were positively correlated(r[48 h]=0. 13,r[96 h]=0. 22,P<0. 05). (3) The cytotoxicity of NK cells to colon cancer cells effected after atorvastatin: In different atorvastatin concentrations groups, the cytotoxicity of NK cells to three colon cancer cell lines was all higher than that in control ( P<0. 05 ) . The atorvastatin concentration was from 2. 5 μmol/L to 10 μmol/L for HCT-116 cells, from 5 μmol/L to 20μmol/L for SW-480 cells, and from 2. 5μmol/L to 20μmol/L for Caco-2 cells. Among the three cell lines, the cytotoxicity of NK cells to HCT116 was the highest in the same concentration. (4)NK cells by atorvastatin cutting statins 96 h,the concentration of 20 mmol/L and 40 mmol/L inhibition rate was higher than that of control group, more than other groups on NK cell growth without significant effect. ( 5 ) The impact of atorvastatin on MICA/B expression of colon cancer cells: After cultured with different concentrations of atorvastatin, the expression of MICA/B on colon cancer cells was higher than that in control(P<0. 05). The concentration was 2. 5μmol/L and 5μmol/L for HCT-116 cells,10μmol/L and 20μmol/L for SW-480 cells, and from 2. 5μmol/L to 40 μmol/L for Caco-2 cells. Conclusion:Atorvastatin could inhibit the growth of colon cancer cells (HCT-116,SW-480 and Caco-2) in a dose-dependent manner;and it could enhance the cytotoxicity of NK cells to colon cancer cells;it also could promote the expression of MICA/B of colon cancer cells, and improve the immunogenicity of colon cancer cells.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2009;23(11):503-505
OBJECTIVE:
To study and evaluate the feasibility and effect of the treatment for juvenile recurrent laryngeal papilloma by nasal endoscopy electric suction cutting and laser surgery.
METHOD:
The clinical data of 26 cases with juvenile recurrent laryngeal papilloma from 2002-2007 years were retrospectively analyzed. Six cases were treated by electric suction cutting under nasal endoscopy, 20 cases were treated by electric suction cutting under nasal endoscopy and synergizing laser, and postoperative wound with sodium hyaluronate gel treatment.
RESULT:
The juvenile recurrent laryngeal papilloma were only operated by electric suction cutting with nasal endoscopy, laryngeal papilloma relapsed with fibrolaryngoscope examination at 4 weeks after operation, and were operated again during 2 to 3 months. The juvenile recurrent laryngeal papilloma were treated by electric suction cutting synergies laser treatment with the help of nasal endoscopy, and they were also treated repeatedly with laser at 2 or 3 weeks after operation. Sixteen cases cured perfectly with no reappearance after an 3 to 8 years follow up, and the other 4 cases showed the prolongation of recurrence interval.
CONCLUSION
Electric suction synergy laser treatment could effectively reduce the recurrence of the laryngeal papilloma, and it also needs laser treatment several times after operation to improve the treatment effect. The sodium hyaluronate gel is adopted on the wound of vocal cords, it can avoid the vocal cords scar and adhesion, and improve the quality of pronunciation. Some patients can be cured by this treatment method, and it should be advocated in the clinical work.
