Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(3):295-298
The bladder meridian of foot-taiyang is considered as key of six meridians and the yang of the yang, which is the pivot of transportation for qi and blood in the meridians and zang-fu. The running route and treatment characteristic of bladder meridian is closely related with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). The bladder meridian belongs to brain and connects with governor vessel, which has a close relationship with zang-fu function, quality of sleep and fatigue. Besides, the running route of bladder meridian is highly consistent with the surface projections of important anatomical structures such as muscle, nerve and sympathetic trunk, etc. Therefore, regulating the meridian-qi of bladder meridian can harmonize five-zang and calm the mind, but also effectively relieve physical and mental fatigue in CFS.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2021;33(4):349-353
Objective:
To learn the health literacy level and its influencing factors among junior high school students in Jiaxing, so as to provide basis for health promotion of adolescents.
Methods:
The junior high school students who had been studying and living in Jiaxing for more than six months were selected by multistage cluster random sampling method. A questionnaire survey was conducted to collect general information and health literacy level (including basic knowledge and concept, healthy lifestyle and behaviors, and basic skills) of these selected students. The multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors for health literacy.
Results :
Of 1 773 questionnaires collected, 1 738 were valid, accounting for 98.03%. The level of health literacy in the junior high school students in Jiaxing was 22.84% ( 95%CI: 20.87%-24.82% ), The levels of basic knowledge and concept, healthy lifestyle and behaviors, and basic skills were 55.29% ( 95%CI: 52.95%-57.63% ), 21.75% ( 95%CI: 19.81%-23.69% ), 53.05% ( 95%CI: 50.70%-55.40%), respectively. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the second grade and above ( OR: 1.609-1.835, 95%CI: 1.195-2.459 ), mother's educational level of technical secondary school/senior high school and above ( OR: 1.965-1.976, 95%CI: 1.276-3.357 ), and self-rated academic achievement of medium and above ( OR: 1.881-2.441, 95%CI: 1.359-3.335 ) were the promoting factors for health literacy level of junior high school students; self rated health status as unhealthy ( OR=0.254, 95%CI: 0.089-0.721 ) was an obstructive factor.
Conclusions
The health literacy level of the junior high school students in Jiaxing was 22.84%. The level of healthy lifestyle and behaviors was the lowest in three aspects. Grade, mother's educational level, self-rated academic performance and self-rated health status may have impacts on health literacy level of junior high school students.

Objective To observe the formation of Staphylococcus aureus biofilm and the inhibitory and dispersive effects of betaine on the biofilm. Methods The inhibitory and dispersive effects of 0.1% betaine on the biofilm from 20 strains of Staphylococcus aureus were examined by crystal violet assay. Results All the 20 strains of Staphylococcus aureus formed biofilm. The biofilm of methicillinsensitive Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) was formed in 24 hours with peak value of absorbance (A590 nm) (1.99 ± 0.53).The biofilm of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus atureus(MRSA) was formed in 48 hours with peak value of absorbance(A590 nm) (1.13 ±0.47).After adding betaine, the absorbance(A590 nm) of MSSA biofilm fell down to(1.74 ± 0.61) in 24 hours, while the absorbance(A590 nm) of MRSA biofilm fell down to(0.40 ± 0.12) in 48 hours, which was significantly reduced compared with the controls (t =2.43,5.84,P < 0.05 respectively). When adding betaine after the biofilm formed, the absorbancies (A590 nm) of both MSSA and MRSA showed no significant difference compared with the controls (P > 0.05).Conclusion Betaine could inhibit biofilm formation of Staphylococcus aureus at concentration of 0.1%,but it could not disperse the mature biofilm of Staphylococcus aureus.

Objective To explore the pathological changes by CT scan on localized thermochemotherapy dur- ing and after the operation of human gliomas. Methods Retrospective analysis was given to the CT scan of 37 pa- tients receiving thermochemotherapy during and after the operation, and the relation of the tumorous cells and mi- crovessels and CT density by EM were analyzed.Changes of tumorous cells and microvessels after localized ther- mochemotherapy on C_6 gliomas in rat were analyzed. Results When the tumor was low dense on CT pattern, less cellular number with increasing the amount of fluid between the cells was demonstrated pathologically. On EM,a lower cellular electron density was observed. The amount of fluid in cytoplasm was increased, the cytoplasm was porous, swelling denaturation was chiefly seen in organelle. If the tumor had mixed density on CT,cellular number was more, the amount of fluid was less.On EM,cellular electron density increased correspondingly, the fluid in cyto- plasm decreased, organdie was aggregated. After thermochemotherapy, the tumor reduced, liquefied, and vanished by CT scan.It could be observed that the tumorous cell become smaller, concentrated and cataclased, finally formed apoprotic bodies and separated from the cell in C_6 gliomas in EM.The tumorous vessels was less, smaller and thinker. Some vessels only could see the base membrane and no endothelioid cells. Conclusion The remaining tumors is van- ished by CT scan. The mechanisms of tumors disappearance proposes to explain that thermochemotherapy can dam- age C_6 glioma cells and microvessels, decrease microvessels density and induce tumor ceils apoptosis. That inhibits tu- morous angiogenesis and proliferation.

Objective To analyze the correlation of hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),homocysteine(Hcy) and D-dimer(D-D) with pathological change degree of coronary heart disease(CHD),and to investigate the diagnostic specificity and sensitivity of joint detection in CHD.Methods A total of 100 cases of CHD patients(experimental group) and 100 healthy subjects(control group) were enrolled,.Patients of the experimental group were divided into four groups on the basis of complications, including simple CHD group(32 cases),amalgamating hypertension group(46 cases),amalgamating diabetes group(9 cases),amalgamating hypertension diabetes group(13cases).The levels of hs-CRP,Hcy and D-D in the five groups were detected and analyzed. Results The levels of hs-CRP,Hcy and D-D in the experimental group were all higher than the control group(P<0.05).Logistic regression confirmed that three indexes were the independent risk factors for CHD.Each indicator has a certain clinical significance to the diagnosis and treatment of CHD but the value of Hcy could be better.Joint detection of hs-CRP and Hcy could be an ideal combination of detection, and the three joint detection might not be suitable for early diagnosis and treatment of CHD.The levels of hs-CRP and D-D in simple CHD group, amalgamating hypertension group, amalgamating hypertension diabetes group were all higher than amalgamating diabetes group(P<0.05).Conclusion hs-CRP,Hcy and D-D could be the independent risk factors of CHD,and joint detection might be with important clinical value for diagnosis of CHD.
