OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of olmesartan on NT-proBNP and high-sensitive C- reactive protein(hs-CRP) and left atrial diameter (LAD) in elderly hypertensive patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF). METHODS:188 cases of elderly hypertensive patients with PAF from May 2011 to May 2013 were divided into control group(n=94)and observation group (n=94),both groups received the treatment of amiodarone,observation group were additionally given olmesartan on the basis of conventional treatment,the treatment cycle was 12 months in two groups. NT-proBNP,hs-CRP,LAD changes and atri-al fibrillation(AF)recurrence were compared between 2 groups before(T0)and after 1 month(T1),3 months(T2),6 months (T3)and 12 months(T4)treatment;related factors for recurrence of atrial fibrillation were analyzed. RESULTS:NT-proBNP and hs-CRP in observation group were lower than control group at T3-T4,with significant difference(P<0.05);LAD improvement in observation group was better than control group,with significant difference (P<0.05). After treatment,the decent range of NT-proBNP and hs-CRP in observation group were higher than that control group,with significant difference(P<0.05);AF re-currence in observation group were lower than control group at T3-T4,with significant difference(P<0.05);Multiple stepwise re-gression analysis showed that NT-proBNP and hs-CRP were positively related with LAD,with significant difference (P<0.05);multi-factor logistic regression analysis showed that the NT-proBNP level,hs-CRP,LAD were positively correlated with AF re-currence,NT-proBNP drop and hs-CRP drop were negatively correlated with AF recurrence. CONCLUSIONS:Serum NT-proB-NP and hs-CRP levels are closely related to LAD and AF recurrence in elderly hypertensive patients with PAF,and olmesartan can decrease the plasma NT- proBNP CRP levels,reduce inflammation response and improve left atrial remodeling so as to re-duce the AF recurrence.

It is well known that the tumor mainly transfers through the lymphatic vessels of the tumor .The current studies main-ly focus on the mechanism of metastasis , hoping to uncover the lymph node metastasis through investigating generation of lymphatic ves -sels and remodeling of tumor lymphatic vessels .Lymph node metastasis is directly related to and prognosis and the quality of life of cancer patients , and how to block the corresponding signaling pathways to prevent tumor lymphangiogenesis becomes the research fo -cus.This paper reviews the lymphangiogenesis and lymphatic vessel remodeling .

Objective:To explore the normative procedures for the hospital in introducing the new- into the hospital.Methods: To fill in the application form about the introduction of new-type medical materials into the hospital and to demonstrate them according to the procedures. The evaluation of management effect in normalizing the introduction procedures.Results: Standardize the introduction of new- type medical material flow, a long-term mechanism to establish open and transparent management, perfect the procurement model of hospital. Conclusion: Normalizing the introduction process of new-type medical materials, can make the hospital technological innovation and competitiveness.

It is essentially indispensable to use multimedia methods in teaching "Clinical Medicine Outline". Such usage can diversify the teaching approaches and play a very important role in improving teaching methods and deepening students’ comprehension of course knowledge. Some problems existing in application of multimedia in the teaching process need to be settled.

Objective:To discuss the regulation requirements of software based on the analysis of software-related recalls of medical devices. Methods:The data of software-related recalls of medical devices in America were collected and processed, and the type, situation, cause and trend of software-related recalls were analyzed, then the suggestions on the regulation requirements of software were proposed. Results:During the four periods from 1983 to 2011, the percentage of software-related recalls vs medical device recalls in America increased from 6%to 19%, and the year-on-year growth rate of software-related recalls rose by 47%to 164%, significantly higher than medical device recalls in the same period (from 13%to 54%). Especially, the problem of software-related recalls in radiology medical devices was the most serious. Conclusion: The regulatory situation of software is more complicated and severe, so the regulation requirements of software, including software validation, adverse event monitoring and usability design, need to be further strengthened according to the particularity of software.

Objective To explore the unified assessment methods based on present situation of after-department examination during the internship in the department of obstetrics and gynecology.Methods The present situation of after-department examination in the department of obstetrics and gynecology in 36 comprehensive hospitals of Chongqing Three Gorges Medical College were investigated through interviews and research papers including 12 grade A hospital of the first class hospital (33.33％),19 grade A hospital of the second class(52.78％) and 5 grade B hospital of the second class(13.89％).Totally 137 students of clinical major in 4 grade A hospital of the second class were enrolled and were divided into study group(n=72) and control group(n=65).hems of theoretical examination and skill examination as well as the evaluation standard were established combining with the syllabus of the licensed assistant doctors and the talent training scheme requirements.Students in study group were trained according to the practice syllabus,skill examination requirement and evaluation require-ment while those in control group had no cmresponding requirement.After-department examination was organized by school at the end of internship.The full score of theoretical examination and skill examination score was 50 respectively.Smvey results of after-depamnent examination were analyzed by Fisher's Exact Test and the results of after-depamnent examination were analyzed by t test.Results The hospitals having the after-department examination accounted for 80.56％(29/36).The hospitals having the after-depamnent examination according to the practice syllabus requirements accounted for only 20.69％(6/29).After the intervention,theoretical examination scores of study group and control group were 40.31 ± 3.47 and 35.78 ± 4.92,respectively,with statistically significant differences(t=6.26,P=0.000).The skills assessment scores of study group and control group were 40.42 ± 3.02 and 34.05 ± 5.18,respectively,with statistically significant differences(t=8.90,P=0.000).Conclusions The after-department examination in hospital is in a state of randomness,so unified assessment methods are necessary.

Atherosclerosis is a chronic inflammatory disease of the vascular walls. As the essential mediators of inflammation, cytokines play important roles in atherosclerosis. Through widespread and penetrating studies, many cytokines, such as TNF-, IL-1, IL-6 and IFN-, are found involved in the development of atherosclerosis, as well as the related signal transduction pathways such as the NF- B pathway, the JNK / AP-1 pathway, and the JAK / STAT pathway. This implies that cytokines have a favorable perspective of clinical application. A few cytokines are identified as biomarkers, which help the early diagnosis of the disease and estimation of the risk of the clinical vascular events. Meanwhile, great progress has been made on the cytokine-targeted treatment of atherosclerosis, providing a novel therapy in the treatment of the disease.

The objective of this study is to evaluate the relative bioavailabilities (RBA) of iron in Soybean meal and egg yolk powder by means of the rat hemoglobin repletion method, and to analyse their iron contents by the atomic absorption spectrometric determination.The iron content of soybean meal is 159.78 ppm, RBA is 67.24%; the iron content of egg yolk powder is 128.65ppm, RBA is 70.90%. This means that both soybean and egg yolk are of high iron contents, and their RBAs are not too inferior, indicating that the absolute amounts of available iron are still high. So both of them should be considered a rather good source of dietary iron.Using the total iron consumption and the final total hemoglobin of each animal during the hemoglobin repletion period as a dose-response index to calculate the RBA is thought to be reasonable.
