1.Mechanism of elevated vascular endothelial growth factor levels in peritoneal fluids from patients with endometriosis.
Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2004;24(5):470-2
In order to investigate the mechanism of elevated vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in peritoneal fluids from patients with endometriosis, macrophages were recovered from peritoneal fluids obtained at the time of diagnostic laparoscopy from infertile women with endometriosis (EMT group, n=20) and without endometriosis (control group, n=20). Macrophages were cultured in vitro. The VEGF levels of peritoneal fluid and the supernatant of macrophages culture were determined by enzyme linked immunoassay (ELISA). Meanwhile, the eutopic (n=20) and ectopic endometrium (n=20) from endometriosis patients, and normal edometrium (n=20) from non-endometriosis patients were obtained for the analysis of VEGF expression by labeled Streptavidin Biotin (LSAB). It was found that VEGF levels in peritoneal fluid and macrophages culture supernatant were significantly higher in EMT group than in control group (P<0.01). In normal endometrium, VEGF showed a cyclic changes and similar in eutopic and ectopic endometrium from patients with endometriosis. There was no difference in the intensity of VEGF in endometrium between two groups within each menstrual phase. It is suggested that altered VEGF production by peritoneal macrophages and ectopic endometrium secretion may contribute to the elevated VEGF levels in the peritoneal fluid of patients with endometriosis.

2.Research on Progress of the Postoperative Pain Management among Patients after Foot and Ankle Surgery
Journal of Kunming Medical University 2016;37(8):139-142
Postoperative pain is an important factor which affects patients'postoperative rehabilitation training. With the application of ultrasound guided nerve block and multimodal analgesia, the quality of postoperative pain management has improved obviously among patients after foot and ankle surgery. The study has reviewed the related research.

The paper starts with a study of problems existing in current fundamental computer course assessment in Traditional Chi-nese Medicine ( TCM) colleges and universities and analyzes the competence-based procedural assessment of fundamental computer courses, points out that such an assessment, as the key factor in discipline construction and course construction, effectively guarantees the cultivation of versatile informatization professionals in the TCM field and is able to better promote the modernization of TCM.
5.Retrospective Analysis of Cesarean Hysterectomy Treated with Intervention of Postpartum Hemorrhage in 9 Cases
Journal of Kunming Medical University 2013;(11):97-101
Objective To investigate the indication, occasion and risk predication of cesarean hysterectomy and interventional treatment. Methods The clinical data of 9 patients with low cesarean section postpartum hemorrhage that underwent hysterectomy after interventional treatment from January 2012 to January 2013 were analyzed which included surgical indication, disease characteristics, procedure time, bleeding volume and other parameters. Results The most common surgical indication for cesarean that caused postpartum hemorrhage was dangerous placenta previa, accounting for 56%, followed byⅢdegree of placental abruption and preeclampsia. The surgical bleeding of cesarean accounted for 62%-70%of the total amount of bleeding. The total time of rescue was 7.4 ± 1.4 hours. The total amount of bleeding was 7 100 ± 2 250 mL. The occurrence of coagulation disorder was significantly correlated with surgical time and amount of blood loss. Conclusion For postpartum hemorrhage caused by cesarean section with risk factors such as scar uterus, placenta previa, placental abruption, many pregnant prolific and others, we must relax indications of hysterectomy. With future treatment potential, the early intervention of postpartum hemorrhage also plays an important role in reducing hysterectomy rate, reducing intraoperative and postoperative blood loss.

Objective To investigate the risk factors for respiratory failure in infants with severe pneumonia aged 1~36 months in order to reduce the mortality of inpatients with severe pneumonia Methods Prospective study were conducted on the collected 567 inpatient infants suffering from severe pneumonia from July 1,2000 to June 30,2001 in randomized selected 13 hospitals in Hunan 17 factors were surveyed and analyzed depending on curative effect ( with respiratory failure or without respiratory failure) as variable by single logistic regression and multiple logistic regression Results Single logistic regression analysis indicated that rachitis, congenital heart disease, hemaglobulin, frequently cold, diettherapy, season, evaluation severity score were risk factors relevant to respiratory failure in severe pneumonia Multiple logistic regression analysis indicated that innutrition, hemoglobulin, rachitis, frequently cold, season, evaluation severity score were risk factors associated with respiratory failure in severe pneumonia Conclusion Innutrition, hemoglobulin, rachitis, frequently cold, season, evaluation severity score are risk factors associated with respiratory failure in severe pneumonia

Objective To observe the clinical, neuropathogical, neurophysiological characteristics of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, type 1A (CMT1A) which was similar to chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy(CIDP).Methods The clinical data, neuroelectrophysiological changes and pathological features of sural nerve biopsy were taken from 2 CMT1A patients who were proven to be 17p12 duplication with CIDP features, and analyzed comprehensively. Results Two CMT1A cases with classical chronic course showed both subacute course and clinical manifestations similar to CIDP, however, the changes of neuroelectrophysiology and pathological characteristics of the nerve biopsy in 2 cases were different from CIDP in some way. We confirmed the chronic inflammatory demyelinating type of the CMT1A patients whom the immunotherapy was effective on.Conclusion The classical CMT1A 17p12 duplication patients who obtained immunotherapy effects might resemble CIDP both in clinical course and manifestation.
