Objective To test the reliability and validity of the rating scale of social function deficit due to mental disorders (SSFD-MD). Methods 1003 cases with mental disability evaluation were tested by SSFDMD. At sametime, 100 cases of 1003 cases were test-retested and back to back tested by two examiners. 300 cases of 1003 cases also were tested by social disability screening schedule( SDSS),scale of social function for psychosis inpatients(SSPI),global assessment function(GAF) ,the brief psychiatric rating scale(BPRS) ,WH0 disability assessment scale Ⅱ (WHO-DASⅡ ), adult rating scale of mentally disabled ( ARSMD) and rating scale for extrapyramidal side effects (RSESE). Results ①The Cronbach's α coefficients of the total score and all dimensions of SSFD-MD were more than 0.90. The test-retest reliability ranged from 0.67~0. 83 ,and the scorer reliability were 0. 87~0.97. ②The correlations between item scores ranged from 0.46 ~0.74(P<0.01). The correlations between the factor scores and the total scores ranged from 0.73~0.87(P<0.01). To extract five full-scale principal components after orthogonal rotation to maximize variance, the cumulative total variance explained was 82.25%.There were highly correlations between SSFD-MD and SDSS.SSPI and GAF,respectively ( r = 0. 71,0.72 and 0. 78). There were moderate correlations between SSFD-MD and BPRS WHO-DAS II ARSMD,respectively(0.62,0. 50 and 0.46). There was a low correlations between SSFD-MD and RSESE ( r = 0.22) ,but all correlations were significant(P<0.01). Conclusion SSFD-MD has acceptable psychometrics properties on reliability and validity.

Objective To analyze the differential expression of microRNA-146a (miR-146a) in monocyte-macrophage cell line (THP-1 cells) after induction by Cryptococcus neoformans (C.neoformans, reference strain WM148) or Cryptococcus gattii (C.gattii, reference strain R265),and investigate the mechanism of miR-146a in regulating the inflammatory response of cryptococcal meningitis. Methods The cultured THP-1 cells were divided into two groups to be induced by C.neoformans or C.gattii,respectively.THP-1 cells were induced with inactivated WN148 (or R265) strains at multiplicity of infection (MOI) of 5 in all experiments. The supematant and the cell pellet were collected separately after incubation. The expression of miR-146a was measured by real-time quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR) technique. The levels of TNF-u and IL-6 release were assayed by ELISA.Results The expression of miR-146a increased significantly in the C.neoformans induction group compared to 0 h.It reached peak at 3 h (P<0.01),and then declined gradually. The level of TNF-α increased in supematant and reached peak at 12 h.The expression of IL-6 did not change significantly at each time point. The expression of miR-146a and TNF-α increased gradually and reached peak at 12 h in the C.gattii induction group (P <0.01),but the change did not reach statistical significance at 3 h,6 h time points. The expression of IL-6 gradually increased, and reached peak at 12 h time point. Conclusions Following stimulation with C.neoformans or C.gattii, the expression ofmiR-146a in THP-1 cells showed different patterns over time. The expression levels of TNF-α and IL-6 showed different patterns. These findings suggest that there may be different regulatory mechanisms in the THP-1 cells-associated inflammatory response after stimulation by inactivated C.neoformans and C.gattii strains.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effects of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction (XFZYD) on the angiogenesis and injury repair in the ischemic region.
METHODSThe ischemic hind limb rat model was established using Bletilla embolization. Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) were labeled with DAPI and injected into the model rats from the vena caudalis. Then rats were treated with different doses of XFZYD by gastrogavage. Blood was withdrawn. The granulation tissue and the muscle tissues from ischemic and necrotic portion were taken on the 3rd and 7th day of the medication. The samples were frozen and sliced to analyze the fluorescent expressions. The necrosis of each sample was observed by routine pathological section. The vessels number was counted. The serum NO levels were detected using nitrate reductase method. The macro-morphological observation of ischemic lower limbs were lasted for 30 days.
RESULTSAfter 3 and 7 days of medication, the fluorescence intensity of ischemic area and the number of granulation vessels were significantly more in the high dose XFZYD group than in the routine treatment group and the normal saline treatment groups. The aforesaid indices were significantly higher in the routine treatment group than in the normal saline treatment group after 7 days of medication. The serum NO concentrations were significantly lower in the normal saline group at other time points. On the 30th day of medication, the muscular atrophy of the ischemic hind limbs was the least significant in the high dose XFZYD group.
CONCLUSIONXFZYD could improve the ischemic necrosis by improving the NO level, inducing the EPCs' migration to the ischemic region, and promoting the angiogenesis.

The change of the effective components (liquiritin, glycyrrhizic acid, liquiritigenin, isoliquiritigenin) contents of Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (GRR) before and after compatibilities in Sini decoction was studied in this paper. Taking single GRR decoction, GRR-Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (ALRP) decoction, GRR-Zingiberis Rhizoma (ZR) decoction and Sini decoction as test samples, the contents changing of the four effective components of GRR were measured by HPLC. The results showed that the contents of the four effective components of GRR in the single GRR decoction was higher than that in other samples, and the sequence was single GRR decoction > GRR-ZR decoction > GRR-ALRP decoction > Sini decoction. The contents of liquiritin were 11.18, 9.89, 9.67, 9.17 mg · g(-1); the contents of glycyrrhizic acid were 20.76, 15.58, 11.30, 8.52 mg · g(-1); the contents of liquiritigenin were 0.66, 0.57, 0.45, 0.24 mg · g(-1); the contents of isoliquiritigenin were 0.14, 0.07, 0.03, 0.01 mg · g(-1). Therefore, the effective components of GRR decreased obviously after GRR compatibility with ZR providing scientific basis for GRR relieving the strong nature of ZR. The effective components of GRR decreased sharply after GRR compatibility with ALRP providing scientific support for the material foundation research of GRR reducing the toxicity of ALRP. The effective components of GRR decreased further in Sini decoction indicating that the three medicines in Sini decoction were interactional, which reflecting the scientific connotation of the mutual-restraint/mutual-detoxication, mutual-promotion/mutual-assistance compatibilities in Sini decoction.

The magnamosis device for stage-one repair of the rectovaginal tistula consists of two arc magnets. Drawing the interrupting thread along the fistula margin via the vaginal side, and pulling the string to arrange the magnets at the fistula base along the long axis of the vagina, we made the magnamosis device automatically clipped to seal the fistula. After removing the threads we kept the device for 2-4 weeks till the natural detachment of it when the compressed tissue in between healed after vascular necrosis. This device utilizing the unique ability of magnamosis to fulfill anastomosis under inflammatory infected state reduces the current high relapse rate and colostomy drawbacks of the conventional rectovaginal neoplasty.
