Objective To study the relationship between serum MMP-9,Gal-3,TGF-β1 and lung function in children with bronchial asthma.Methods The serum levels of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9),serum galectin-3 (MMP-9),serum metalloproteinase-3 (MMP 9) and serum albumin were measured in 218 pediatric children between March 1,2012 and August 31,2016 in Shenzhen Longhua New District People's Hospital pediatric outpatient clinic.FEV1％,FEV1/FVC and FEF50 were measured and compared respectively with the index data of the control group.The lung function of the children was significantly higher than that of the control group (P＜0.05).Mild group and severe group children above.Results Serum levels measured in 218 children (F=35.34,46.51,56.73,all P＜0.05).The data of any two groups also showed statistical difference after q test,and the difference was statistically significant (FEV1 ％),1-second forced expiratory volume/forced vital capacity percentage (FEV1/FVC),forced expiratory 50％ (FEF50) of the first-second forced expiratory volume/forced expiratory volume of 1 second (F=78.13,52.69,26.24,all P＜0.05).After the q test,the data of any two groups were analyzed by ANOVA.Between the data were also statistically significant differences.Conclusion MM-9,Gal-3 and TGFβ1 in bronchoalveolar lavage and the degree of pulmonary function decline have close ties.

Objective To construct and identify the specific interference vector for second mitochondria -derived activator of caspase (SMAC)gene in mice and perform lentiviral packaging.Methods According to the SMAC gene sequences in mice,three small interfering RNAs (siRNAs)(siRNA1,siRNA2,and siRNA3)and one negative control sequence (siRNAn)were designed and synthesized,and mouse hepatocytes were transfected with the above siRNAs using Lipofectamine 2000.The inhibitory effects of these siRNAs on SMAC mR-NA expression were evaluated by real-time PCR,and the optimal siRNA was screened out accordingly.Oligo DNA was synthesized based on the optimal siRNA and then connected to GV1 15 vector to obtain recombinant interference plasmid.The candidate clones were identified by PCR and sequenced.The recombinant interference plasmid,as well as pHelper 1.0 and pHelper 2.0,was used to transfect 293T cells for lentivirus packaging.Then,cell supernatants were collected and concentrated,and the lentiviral titer was determined by gradient dilution. Comparison between groups was made by analysis of variance,and multiple comparisons were made by SNK-q test.Results The three siRNAs had different inhibitory effects on SMAC mRNA expression in hepatocytes;siRNA1 showed the strongest inhibitory effect,with an inhibition efficiency of 70.3%.Based on siRNA1 ,the oligo DNA was successfully synthesized and correctly connected to the lentiviral vec-tor,as proved by sequencing.The lentiviral titer was 6 ×108 TU/ml,as determined by gradient dilution.Conclusion The recombinant lentivirus that inhibits SMAC expression in mice has been constructed successfully,laying the foundation for further studies on the role of SMAC gene in liver failure.

Objective To analysis the levels of serum homocysteine (Hcy)and erythropoietin (EPO)levels in patients with ischemic stroke and their relationship with carotid atherosclerosis.Methods The patients with ischemic stroke admitted be-tween January 1,2013 and July 31,2016 were selected as the subjects.Sera test of Hcy,EPO level,and then through the Doppler probe carotid artery method to check the degree of carotid atherosclerosis in all patients,and the use of quantitative records,according to set diagnostic criteria for classification,the use of grading results with the same type of Hcy,EPO lev-els of data analysis to determine the relationship between the two.Results Doppler exploration in 142 patients showed nor-mal carotid intima-media thickness in 34 patients,carotid intima-media thickening in 56 patients,and carotid plaques in 52 pa-tients.After analysis of variance (F=59.64,78.29,P<0.05),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant.The data between any two groups were also statistically significant differences.108 patients with different levels of carotid atherosclerosis were graded into 47 of grade 1,34 of grade 2,and 27 of grade 3,with the same type in the plasma of different grades (F=78.39,48.61, P<0.05).After the qtest,there were no significant differences in the levels of Hcy and EPO.Data were also statistically dif-ferent between groups.Conclusion Serum homocysteine (Hcy)and erythropoietin (EPO)were associated with ischemic stroke and were associated with carotid atherosclerosis.

Objective To explore the effects of progressive relaxation training on the nailfold microcirculation for psychological stress state population .Methods According to the mental health screening criteria ,60 cases of psychological healthy individuals were selected as the research object ,took the attention distribution test as psychological stress stimulation ,test self rating anxiety scale(SAS) and nailfold microcirculation function changes of test before and after stress .60 cases were divided into intervention group and normal control group ,30 cases in each group .The intervention group adopted progressive relaxation training intervention after stress ,while normal control group taking natural rest ,then detected the change of nailfold microcirculation .Results The SAS level and the nailfold microcirculation parameters before and after stress between the two groups were significantly different (P<0 .05);the difference of nailfold microcirculation morphological integral and the total integral between the two groups were statisti-cally significant(P<0 .01);and there were no difference on flow integral and around the loop integral between the two groups (P>0 .05) .Conclusion Progressive relaxation training can effectively improve the microcirculation state of the psychological stress a-mong people ,under certain conditions ,the effective intervention to the stress state population can influence the microcirculation .

Objective To study the effects and mechanisms of infrasound with low sound pressure level on focal cerebral ischemia-refusion injury. Methods Focal cerebral ischemia was produced by 2 hours of occlusion of the middle cerebral artery in rats. lnfrasound generated by infrasound 8TM device was used as treatment factor. Thirty-two Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into three groups: sham group (n=8), model group (n=8) and in-frasound group (n=16) , and the infrasound group was subdivided into 20- and 120-min infrasound groups, with 8 rats in each group. Neurological symptoms was assessed at 2 h, 1 d, 3 d and 7 d, respectively. These rats were sacrificed after 7 days of infrasound treatment and their brains were harvested. The number of IGF-1 posive cells of ischemia cortex was counted by using immunohistochemical technique. Results Compared with model group, neurological symptoms of rats in 120-min infrasound group was significantly improved (P<0.05); the number of IGF-1 positive cells of ischemia cortex in 120-min infrasound group increased significantly as compared with that in model group (P<0.01). Conclusion Infrasound with low sound pressure level (120 min/d, 7 d) could exert neuroprotective effect in focal cerebral ischemia injury by increasing expression of IGF-1 in brain.

Objective To examine the neuroprotective effect of pulsed magnetic field in a animal focal cere-bral ischemica-reperfusion injury model. Methods Forty-eight Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomized into 3 groups, a sham-operation group, a model group and a pulsed magnetic field group, with rats 16 in each group. Mid-dle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) method was employed to establish the focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion inju-ry model in rats of model group and pulsed magnetic field group. Rats in sham-operation group was subject to the same operation procedure but not underwent ischemia-reperfusion. The infarction volume, histopathological damage and expressions of IGF-1 in ischemic brain tissue were investigated to evaluate the effect of pulsed magnetic field. Results The infarction volume was reduced, histopathological damage alleviated and expressions of IGF-1 in ische-mic brain tissue elevated in the pulsed magnetic field group as compared against the model group (P<0.05). Con-clusions Pulsed magnetic field might provide neuro-protection against cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury.

Objective To observe dynamically the expression of insulin-like growth factor(IGF-1)in the brain and liver,and to explore changes in IGF-1 levels.Methods The thread method waa used to establish middle cerebral artery occlusion in rats.The expression of IGF-1 on the ischemic side of the cerebral cortex and in the liver wag observed dynamically using immunohistochemical techniques. Results The number of IGF-1-positive cells increased significantly,peaking on the 3rd day in the cortex and the 7th day in the liver.Conclusion The expression of IGF-1 Wag upregulated in the brain after the experimental cerebral ischemia;peripheral humoral regulation of IGF-1 responded more slowly and recovered to some extent at the 7th day after cerebral ischemia.

Blood Replenishing Angelica Decoction [Danggui Buxue Tang (DGBXT)]is a wellknown TCM prescription composed of Radix Angelicae Sinensis and Radix Astragali with the actions ofinvigorating "Qi" and enriching blood. Its action to curtail endothelial permeability induced by histaminewas studied. Endothelial cells isolated from the aorta of neonatal calf were cultured on polycarbonate mi-croporus filter membrane to develop a confluent endothelial monolayer. After purfused with either plainHank's balanced salt solution or that containing 5 g/L albumin, the monolayer was treated with 10-4 mol/L histamine for 30 min either with or without preincubation for 60 min with 10-4 g/mL of DGBXT. Fluidfiltration coefficient (Kf), filtration volume (Jv) and osmotic reflective coefficient (σ) of protein were thenmeasured. The findings showed that DGBXT could curtail the lowering of Kf and Jv and elevation of σ in-duced by histamine, indicating that DGBXT could inhibit the action of histamine on endothelial permeabili-ty, but its mechanism of action needs further study.

The veins on the dorsum of the foot have been dissected and observed on 200cases of the Chinese adult lower extremities.The great saphenous vein is the chief draining vessel of the hallux,the toes andthe skin of the dorsum of the foot.The position and the tributaries of this vessel areconstant.Its diameter ranges from 1.9 to 5.0mm,with an average of 3.2mm.The dorsal venous arch is usually single(93%),double arches are seen in 6%,and absent in 1%.According to the form of reflux,the dorsal venous arch may begrouped into five types.In the most common type,the arch is continuous withthe great saphenous vein and the anterior malleolar branch of the small saphenousvein(49.5%).The dorsal metatarsal veins usually drain directly into the dorsal venous arch.Some of the neighboring dorsal metatarsal veins may drain through a commontrunk.The perforating veins on the dorsum of the foot may be divided into threedifferent groups:the anterior malleolar,marginal and intermetatarsal group.Thelatter usually drains into the dorsal venous arch at the base of the first intermeta-tarsal space.The valves of the superficial veins on the dorsum of the foot were also observed.There is no valve in the lateral part of the dorsal venous arch,but there may beone or two valves in its most medial part(66.7%).It appears that the venousblood from the first metatarsal vein usually drains into the great saphenous vein.

Objective To find a useful index for real-time detecting of speech endpoint and improving the performance of speech processing under low SNR by analyzing fluctuation complexity of speech signals. Method The influence of state space partition method, window size and partition numbers on detecting performance was analyzed. The comparison experiments of speech signals corresponding to different SNR and noise type was designed using the measure of complexity behaviors based on the information gain.Result It was found that fluctuation complexity was more effective in detecting low-SNR speech than spectral entropy. Conclusion Fluctuation complexity is a valid feature to make speech/non-speech decision for the low SNR cases. The presented method can achieve robust performance and has a good real-time behavior.
