Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Qingjinchangfei drink for treating AECOPD.Methods We Used random number table to separate 84 patients in to two groups:treatment group and control group. The treatment group used western medicine conventional treatment and Chinese medicine decoction Qingjinchangfei drink. The control group used western medicine conventional treatment. Both two groups were 14 days treatment. We recorded the improvement of symptoms and signs everyday. We compared the lung function, inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-8、IL-2 before and after treatment in the two groups. Results The total efficient in treatment group was obviously better than that in control group. The indicators such as clinical symptoms, signs, pulmonary function indicators were obviously better than that in control group.Compared with before treatment,IL-8,ET,MDA and TNF-? in sputum and blood were obviously lower but IL-2 was obviously higher. Conclusion Qingjinchangfei drink plus western medicine conventional treatment for treating AECOPD was obviously better than western medicine conventional treatment.

Objective To investigate the effects of placing medical collagen sponge on the wound surface for severe rupture of liver. Methods In 132 patients with severe hepatic trauma , 68 cases were randomly enrolled in collgan spong treatment group, in which the hepatic wound was treated with collagen sponge, while the 64cases in control group were treated with commonly used gelatin sponge. Results The therapeutic results of collagan spong group were better than those of control group in the hemostatic time [(19.65?1.28)min vs (34.3?1.2)min], hemorrhagic volume [(301.57?56.8)mL vs (642.3?61.8)mL], abdominal cavity drainage volume[(380.45?12.34)mL vs (693.2?219.4)mL], recovery time of hepatic tissue [(30.30?6.42)d vs (62.1?7.2)d], postoperation complications (re-bleeding , and hepatobiliary leakage) [11.5% and 3.0% vs 6.3% and 9.5%], and hospital time stay [(24.01?4.89)d vs (35.8?5.9)d] (all with P

Virtual reality simulators and surgical demonstration were used in laparoscopic teaching combining teacher' guiding with students' practice to improve the teaching effectiveness hecause of the limitations of the traditional apprenticeship teaching methods. The new method was applied for 2 cycles and for 6 weeks. The results showed that the teaching methods of virtual reality simulators combined with surgical demonstration can significantly improve the effectiveness of laparoscopic teaching and shorten the initial learning curve, therefore it is worth promoting in laparoscopic operation training and teaching.

Objective To study surface heparinization of small intestinal submucosa(SIS)and an- tithrombegenicity of beparinized SIS films with plasma initiation technique for the engineering vascular scaffolds. Methods The SIS films were grafted with heparin by hypothermia plasma initiation technique. The blood com- patibility of the modified SIS films was assessed by observing blood coagulation time in vitro and the long term pa- tency of hepafinized SIS vascular scaffolds directly under the circulation of blood. Results The hypothermia plasma initiation method could attach heparin onto the SIS surface,The water contact angle of SIS films modified with heparin was decreased while the surface free energy and hydrophilicity increased. The prothrombin time(PT),ac- tivated partial thromboplastin time(APTT)and thrombin clotting Time(TT)of the SIS films modified with heparin were prolonged obviously.Small caliber engineering vascular scaffold made of heparinized SIS films kept the patency for six weeks. Conclusion Heparin can be attached to SIS films by hypothermia plasma initiation technique. The modified surfaces provide good and persistent antithrombogenicity, and possess potent blood compatibility,

Objective To study the correlation between N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and cardiac diastolic and systolic function. Methods 60 New Zealand male rabbits were randomly assigned to two groups. The abdominal aorta 1 cm just above right renal artery were constricted in operated group. The clinical manifestation of heart failure was observed, and cardiac structure and function were investigated with echocardiography. Concentration of serum NT-proBNP was determined regularly. Results The concentration of NT-proBNP was correlated with Sm(r=-0.635,P=0.000), Em(r=-0.693,P=0.000), E/Em(r=0.688,P=0.000), E/Vp(r=0.707, P=0.000), and EF(r=-0.395,P=0.001). Conclusion Concentration of serum NT-proBNP could prognose the diastolic and long axis systolic function of left ventricle.

Objective To establish an animal model of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(EF)resulting from hypertension.Methods35 male New-Zealand rabbits were randomly assigned to 2 groups:constriction was performed at the abdominal aorta 1 cm just above right renal artery in operated group(n=25),and the sham-operated animals were taken as control group(n=10).The clinical manifestations of heart failure were followed up carefully.Systolic and diastolic function, and systemic hemodynamics were investigated with echocardiography and left ventricle catheter.ResultsIn operated group, marked ventricular hypertrophy was observed 2 weeks after operation.4 weeks after operation, the clinical manifestations of heart failure presented, and IVRT and LVEDP increased,and-dp/dt max decreased.Tissue doppler image indicated that e/a ratio of annulus of mitral valve decreased(P<0.05).However,EF and +dp/dt max were preserved.ConclusionThe operated animals presented the clinical manifestation of heart failure, and diastolic function of left ventricle injured, however, ejection fraction was preserved, which corresponded with the character of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction resulting from hypertension.
