Objective To investigate radiological appearances,expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) of giant cell tumor of bone(GCT) and correlation with its pathologic grading.Methods Expressions of PCNA in 24 GCT specimens were examined using immunohistochemistry technology,radiological appearances were analyzed using score method,correlated with pathologic grading.Results GCTs with low score(0.05).Conclusion Most GCTs can be confirmed by radiography with expression of PCNA added more diagnostic information,which is helpful to preoperative pathologic grading and selection of optimal clinical treatment.

Objective To explore the expression of CD14 and TLR4 ( Toll like receptor - 4) in peripheral blood monocytes during the different stage of cancer patients. Methods The expression of TLR4 and CD14 on peripheral blood monocytes was determined by flow cytometry in 50 healthy control group and 80 patients with malignant tumor who were divided into stable group and advanced group according to the change of the size of tumor measured by image and/or the outcome of tumor makers. OBJECTIVE To investigate the resistance gene spectrum and their relatedness in Enterobacter cloacae isolated from sputum.METHODS The 15 kinds of resistant genes were detected by polymerase chain reaction and cluster analysis was done.RESULTS The positive rates of TEM,OXA-1 group,DHA,ACT-1,aac(6′)-Ⅰ,ant(3″)-Ⅰ,qnr,dfrA17,sul1 and intⅠ1 were 78.6%,6.3%,18.8%,75.0%,78.6%,56.3%,6.3%,37.5%,87.5% and 87.5%,respectively.Clone transmission was occurred.CONCLUSIONS There are very high positive rates of TEM,DHA,ACT-1,aac(6′)-Ⅰ,ant(3″)-Ⅰ,dfrA17,sul1 and intⅠ1 genes of E.cloacae isolated from sputum.E.cloacae can be clone transmitted in the hospital.

Objective To evaluate the physical functions of community-dwelling older adults, and analyze the related factors. Methods From September to October, 2016, 80 adults over 55-year-old in one community in Wuhan, Hubei, China were selected with convenience sampling. General situation was collected through questionnaires. Physical functions were measured by tests of grip strength, Five-Times-Sit-to-Stand Test (FTSST), modified Clinical Test of Sensory Interaction and Balance (mCTSIB) and TimedUp and GoTest (TUGT). Their correlation was analyzed. Results The average grip strength of the participants was (27.46 ± 9.66) kg; the average time of FTSST was (11.58 ± 4.03) s;there was only one (1.25%) participant observed with an impairment in mCTSIB;the average time of TUGT was (9.05±3.47) s. Grip strength was correlated with gender (r=-0.669), education level (r=0.238), the score of Mini-Mental State Examina-tion (MMSE) (r=-0.302) and activities of daily living (ADL) (r=-0.344) (P<0.05). The time of FTSST was correlated to gender (r=0.274), the score of MMSE (r=0.243) and ADL (r=0.321) (P<0.05). The time of TUGT was correlated to gender (r=0.255), education level (r=-0.362), income level (r=-0.245), the score of Self-rating Depression Scale (r=0.223), the score of MMSE (r=0.328) and ADL (r=0.354) (P<0.05). Conclusion The levels of grip strength, FTSST and TUGT are related to the demographic characters in community-dwell-ing older adults. Little abnormity has been found in mCTSIB.

AIM: To observe the effects of Yangxue qingnao-containing serum on rat vascular smooth muscle cell (VSMC) proliferation induced by lysophosphatidic acid (LPA). METHODS: The [ 3H]-TdR incorporation and mitogen-activated protein kinasc (MAPK) activity were measured in cultured VSMC. End product of lipid peroxidation-MDA levels were also detected. RESULTS: 1?10 -9 ,1?10 -8 and 1?10 -7 mol/L LPA enhanced the cultured VSMC [ 3H]-TdR incorporation, increased MAPK activity and MDA content in a concentration-dependent manner. 5%, 10% and 15% Yangxue qingnao-containing serum concentration-dependently inhibited the increase in VSMC [ 3H]-TdR incorporation, MAPK activity and MDA content induced by LPA. CONCLUSIONS: LPA has a stimulating effect on VSMC proliferation. The LPA-induced intracellular signal transduction may be related to MAPK activity. Yangxue qingnao can efficiently inhibit LPA -induced VSMC proliferation,MAPK activity and lipid peroxidation. [

OBJECTIVE:To provide approaches and avenues for the Chinese drugs preparations manufacturers in the GMP depuratory authentication.METHODS:The features and difficulties in the GMP depuratory authentication of the Chinese drugs preparations such as the optimizing of depuratory regulations,the determination of the acceptable standards,the choice of testing methods,clarification of expiration date and re-authentication were analyzed.RESULT&CONCLUSION:The depuratory regulations of the manufacturing facilities for the Chinese drugs preparations must be optimized.

It has been reported that the level of antioxidants is lower in obese patients compared with that in normal weight subjects. Important antioxidants, vitamin E and ?-carotene, are lowered in obese adults and children, which may cause lipid super oxidation and are associated with atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease and myocardial infarction. Copper and zinc are trace elements that compose parts of enzymes such as CuZn-superoxide dismutase (CuZn-SOD) which can scavenge free radicals. Plasma copper and zinc levels are lowered in obese individuals, which may lead to abnormality in glucose metabolism.

Abstract?AlM: To observe the anterior chamber angle shape of patients with diabetic retinopathy ( DR) at different stages using OCT, and to explore a more sensitive and accurate glaucoma preventing measure.?METHODS: A total of 613 cases of DR patients were divided into proliferation phase group ( 353 cases ) and background phase group ( 260 cases ) , another 100 cases of patients with only diabetes were selected as control group. OCT was used to detect the anterior chamber angle related parameters, including angle opening distance ( AOD) , trabecular-iris space area ( TlSA) , angle recess area ( ARA ) , anterior chamber depth ( ACD ) and anterior chamber angle ( ACA) .?RESULTS: There were significant difference among AOD500, AOD750, TlSA500, TlSA750, ARA500 and ARA750 of control group, proliferation phase group and background phase group ( P< 0. 01 ). The proliferation phase group was the lowest, AOD500, AOD750, TlSA500, TlSA750, ARA500 and ARA750 were 0. 60 ± 0. 22mm, 0. 78 ± 0. 39mm, 0. 22 ± 0. 12mm2 , 0. 45 ± 0. 19mm2 , 0. 29 ± 0. 18mm and 0. 46 ± 0. 15mm, respectively. There were significant difference among ACA500, ACA750, ACD500 and ACD750 of control group, proliferation phase group and background phase group ( P< 0. 01 ). OCT is an accurate and simple technique for detecting DR staging.
