Objectve The purpose of the study was to evaluate the surgical treatment method and outcomes of capitellar fractures. Methods From December 2004 to December 2006, sixteen patients with a capitellar fracture were included in the study. There were eight males and eight females. According to Bryan and Morrey classification, there were eight type Ⅰ fractures, one type Ⅲ fracture and seven type Ⅳ fractures. In three of type Ⅳ, a separate trochlear fracture fragment with impaction was seen. Distal lateral column posteroinferior metaphyseal comminutiou and/or impaction was observed in association with three fractures including two type Ⅳ fractures and one type Ⅲ fracture. One Mason type Ⅰ radial head fracture occurred in association with an ipsilateral type Ⅳ capiteilum fracture. The patients ranged from sixteen to sixty-five years old, with an average age of 44.9 years. An extensile lateral exposure and articular fixation with cannu-lated compression screws were performed within five days of injury. Clinical, radiographic, and functional el-bow index rating scale of Broberg-Money were evaluated retrospectively. Results The follow-up time ranged from 24 to 36 months, with the mean of 29 months. All fractures healed at an average of 7.9 (range, 6 to 11) weeks without radiographic evidence of osteonecrosis of the fracture fragment. Average arc of motion was 125.8°±16.8° in flexion-extension and 163.1°±10.62° in pronation-supination. The mean Broberg-Mor-rey was 92.0 points, with eight excellent results, seven good results, and one poor result. There were one pa-tient with a minimum of grade 1 radio-capitellar arthrosis.Fifteen of the sixteen adults were able to continue their former professional activities. The patient had persistent postoperative stiffness with a flexion contrac-ture at the last postoperative visit. Conclusion Prompt treatment with anatomic reduction and internal fixa-tion with lag screws followed by early rehabilitation can lead to functional arc and satisfactory outcome.

We studied 22 Wilms'tumors of children immunohistochemically. We've found that the positive rate of p53 in slices was 31.8% (7),of nm23 was 50% (11),and of p16 was 86.4% (19).It suggested that mutation rate of p53 was high in tumors, expression of nm23 in favorite histology(FH)was higher than that in unfavorite histology(UFH) group, and p16 showed very high positive rate in tumors. All of the three showed no relation with sex, age,or pathological type.So each one may be useful in clinic to evaluate pathogenesis and prognosis.
3. Effect of different defect areas of medial femoral condyle cartilage on peripheral cartilage stress: Three-dimensional finite element analysis
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2020;24(12):1911-1916
BACKGROUND: Although it has been found in many studies that three-dimensional finite element analysis can be used in the study of knee joint biomechanics, there are few researches on different defect areas of medial condyle cartilage of the femur. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the stress change trend of perimeter articular cartilage before and after the occurrence of different defect areas of medial femoral condyle cartilage, providing biomechanical data for patients with knee medial femoral condyle cartilage defect. METHODS: One normal adult had been selected to establish a three-dimensional finite element model. Material mechanical properties were input to Abaques software with divided grid model. After controlling boundary condition with mechanical load, structural nonlinear finite element was calculated. First, the load stress distribution of knee cartilage and meniscus was observed under normal stress. Articular cartilage stress distribution was observed with load conditions in different defects (0, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 mm) of medial femoral condyle. The stress changes on the cartilage were analyzed during the defect of medial femoral condyle. This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University. The volunteer signed the informed consent. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) Material properties, boundary conditions and the introduction of loads were defined successfully. The stress cloud chart and its stress data were obtained from different diameter defects of cartilage in medial condyle of knee joint. According to statistical analysis, the stress on the femoral condyle and tibial plateau cartilage had significant changes compared with no defects when the medial femoral condyle cartilage had defects of 10 mm (area 0. 78 cm2) and 12 mm (area 1. 13 cm2). (2) The stress change trend of the cartilage of the medial condyle of the knee joint under the condition of different diameter defects was calculated based on the analysis of the application of three-dimensional finite element method. (3) Results suggest that the defect with the diameter of 10 mm (area 0. 78 cm2) of medial femoral condyle may be the minimum diameter advised for operation intervention of cartilage repair.

Objective To construct an air health index (AHI) based on the exposure-response relationships of air pollution and ambient temperature with the years of life lost (YLL) in Tianjin. Methods The time series database of air pollution, meteorological factors, and non-accidental YLL from 2014-2019 in six urban areas of Tianjin were established. The data from 2014 to 2017 were used as the construction set to establish the exposure-response relationships of air pollution and ambient temperature with non-accidental YLL and establish the AHI model. The data from 2018 to 2019 were used as the validation set for verifying AHI. The generalized additive model (GAM) and weighted quantile sum (WQS) model were used to establish the exposure-response relationship between air pollution mixtures and non-accidental YLL. The distributed lag nonlinear model (DLNM) was fitted to assess the exposure-response relationship between ambient temperature and non-accidental YLL. Based on these obtained coefficients, the AHI and air quality health index (AQHI) were built. By comparing the associations between AHI, air quality health index (AQHI), and air quality index (AQI) with daily mortality and YLL and model goodness of fit to evaluate the validity of AHI. Results The formula for AHIt=EYLLt,air pollution+ambient temperature/475.11*10. The validation results showed that each IQR increase in AHI was associated with a higher increase in non-accidental mortality and YLL (10.61% and 353.37 person-year) compared with the corresponding values of AQHI and AQI. In addition, the model goodness of AHI was better than AQHI and AQI model. Conclusion Compared with AQHI and AQI, the AHI based on the integrating health effects of air pollution and ambient temperature has a better health risk prediction ability.
