Objective To investigate the protection effects of teprenone in aspirin-induced gastric mucosa injury. Methods From 2008 to 2010,a total of 296 patients who took aspirin for the first time at the Department of Cardiovascular,First Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang Chinese Medicine University were randomly divided into two groups. There were 166 cases in aspirin group, which took aspirin 100mg daily; 130 cases in aspirin and teprenone group, the aspirin dose equivalent with aspirin group and took teprenone 50mg/time,3 times/day orally.Gastrointestinal symptoms and gastric mucosa injury of patients in these two group were inspected at 3 month,6 month and 1 year. Results A total of 143 cases were recruited in aspirin group and 118 cases in aspirin and teprenone group. After taking medicine for 3 months, the occurrence rate of gastrointestinal symptoms in aspirin group was 1.40 %.Compared with aspirin and teprenone group, the difference was statistical significant (0,x2 =1.663,P= 0.197).Follow up after taking medicine for 6 months, the occurrence rate of gastrointestinal symptoms in aspirin group was 4.96%.Compared with aspirin and teprenone group, the difference was statistical significant (0,x2 =6.021,P=0.014).Follow up after taking medicine for 1 year, the occurrence rate of gastrointestinal symptoms in aspirin group was 20.15 %.Compared with aspirin and teprenone group, the difference was statistical significant (1.69%,x2 =20.984,P=0.001).Compared with aspirin group, the symptom and endoscopy score of aspirin and teprenone group decreased significantly at follow-up for 6 months and 1 year (P<0.05; P<0.01 ).Compared with at 6 month, the symptom and endoscopy score of aspirin group at 1 year increased significantly (P<0.05 ; P<0.01).Conclusion Teprenone has certain protection effects in aspirin-induced gastric mucosa injury.Long-term use of conventional doses of aspirin may cause vary degrees of gastric mucosal injury, and the gastric mucosal injury get more severe as the time of taking medicine increases.
2.Effects of different ventilation modes for one-lung ventilation anesthesia on respiratory function and F(A)/F(I) changes during sevoflurane inhalation.
Journal of Southern Medical University 2011;31(4):714-717
OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of different ventilation modes for one lung ventilation anesthesia on arterial blood-gas, airway pressure, intrapulmonary shunt, and F(A)/F(I) changes in patients receiving sevoflurane inhalation.
METHODSThirty ASA class II-III patients with lung cancer undergoing pulmonary lobectomy were randomized into 3 equal groups. The patients in group A received volume-controlled ventilation (VCV) without positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) (VT=8 ml/kg, Rf=12/min), and those in group B, after a preceding VCV stabilize the airway pressure, had pressure-controlled ventilation with maintenance of an identical peak pressure (Ppeak) (Rf=12/min, PEEP=0). In group C, the patients received small tidal volume ventilation with PEEP (VT=6 ml/kg, Rf=16/min, PEEP=5 cm H(2)O). Blood gas analysis was carried out at 10 min after TLV and at 20, 45 and 70 min after one lung ventilation (OLV); the heart rate (HR), mean arterial pressure (MAP), SpO(2) and Ppeak were also recorded and blood samples collected from the artery and jugular vein at these time points. Inhalation of 1.5% sevoflurane for 20 min started at 20 min of OLV.
RESULTSCompared with those in TLV, the Ppeak increased, lung compliance decreased, arterial oxygenation (PaO(2)) decreased and intrapulmonary shunt (Qs/Qt) increased during OLV. Group B showed the fastest increase of F(A)/F(I) in the initial 8 min, followed by groups A and C, but the curves became similar with the passage of time.
CONCLUSIONSDuring OLV, the 3 ventilation modes result in similar F(A)/F(I) changes during sevoflurane inhalation but PCV can increase pulmonary compliance.

Objective To investigate the life quality in infants with food allergy before and after treatment by using of Food Allergy Quality of Life Questionnaire - Parent Form(FAQLQ - PF). Methods The severity of eczema in 46 children with food allergy was determined by eczema area and severity index(EASI). The life quality of such infants was assessed by the FAQLQ - PF after 2 - months treatment. Results (1)Among the 50 subjects,46(92% )respon-ded to the tests;the average age was(4. 78 ± 1. 48)months. Twenty - nine(63. 04% )subjects had family history of allergic disease. Egg(73. 91% )was the most common allergen, followed by cow milk(43. 48% ),fish and shrimp (8. 70% ),and carrot(4. 35% ).(2)The scores of EASI,FAQLQ - PF in children with food allergy before treatment were 13. 20 ± 12. 86 and 2. 12 ± 1. 33,respectively,the scores after treatment declined(2. 02 ± 4. 40 and 1. 33 ± 1. 08, respectively),there was a statistical significance(t = 28. 070,4. 014,all P ﹤ 0. 05).(3)Compared with pre - treat-ment,the scores of emotional impact subscale and food anxiety subscale declined, from 2. 10 ± 1. 47 and 2. 63 ± 1. 83 to 1. 30 ± 1. 09 and 1. 68 ± 1. 37,respectively,and there were statistically significant differences(t = 5. 204,8. 818,all P ﹤ 0. 05).(4)There was a positive correlation between the EASI and FAQLQ - PF scores(ρ = 0. 205,P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusions Food allergy adversely affects the quality of life in infants. The poor life quality is associated with more severe symptoms. The life quality in infants and parents can be improved by standardized treatment.

Chinese Journal of Epidemiology 2010;31(3):256-259
Objective Data from several large prospective studies revealed that a low glomerular filtration rate was independently associated with cardiovascular disease (CVD) events and all-cause mortality in high-risk populations. Much on the association was explained by traditional CVD risk factors. However, findings from population-based studies were scarce and inconsistent. We explored the correlation between risks factors of cardiovascular and chronic kidney disease (CKD) in a general population from certain area of Beijing. Methods A population-based cross-sectional survey was conducted during Sep. 2007 to Oct. 2008 in Beijing. Out of 5100 individuals who were selected,4515 met the inclusion criteria and responded to the investigation. By face to face interview,a questionnaire was used to find out the risk factors of cardiovascular disease. Body height, body weight and blood pressures were measured. Serum creatinine and total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) were detected. Glomerular filtration rate through using the Modification of Diet in Renal Disease equation was estimated.Participants were grouped into three:≥90,60-89,<60[ml·min~(-1)·(1.73m~2)~(-1)] by eGFR. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression models were used to identify the associated risk factors. Results Exposure rate of cardiovascular disease risk factors increased along with the decrease of level of eGFR. Data from univariate logistic regression analyses suggested that age, smoking, history of hypertension and diabetes,BMI,SBP,LDL-C and TG were risk factors of CKD while results from multiple logistic regression indicated that age, smoking, hypertension, high level of TG appeared to be independent risk factors of CKD. Conclusion Exposure rate of cardiovascular disease risk factors increased along with the decrease of level of eGFR while age, hypertension, high level of TG and smoking were independent risk factors of CKD.
