Objective To explore the characteristics of uhrasonography of hepatobiliary cystadenoma. Methods The ultrasonographic characteristics of 5 cases with hepatobiliary cystadenoma were retrospectively analysed, and compared with the operation and pathology. Results The ultrasonography of 5 cases was multilocular cystic mass,which seems to be,but not indeed communicating with the biliary tree,in which irregular septation was demonstrated in two-dimensional structure and also with perforator vessels along in color Doppler flow imagineg. And in some cases small papillary tuft and small loci of calcification was noted on the septation. Conclusions Muhilocular cystic mass,locating along the biliary tree, however not communicating with the the biliary tree, is an important diagnostic basis of biliary cystadenoma. And it should be distinguished with other cystic tumor in the liver.

Objective To investigate the corresponds between NF-κB p65 activation and k-ras mutations.Methods NF-κB p65 activation was analyzed by immunochemistry in 167 colorectal cancer specimens in which the k-ras mutation status was confirmed.Resluts Among 167 colorectal cancer specimens screened,59 (35.3 ％) had k-ras mutations and 63 (37.7 ％) had NF-κB p65 activation.k-ras mutations and NF-κB p65 nuclear expression were no significant difference in different sex,age,ECOG score,pathological types,degrees of pathological differentiation,TNM stage,and metastases on lymph nodes (P＞ 0.05).The positive nuclear expression rate of NF-κB p65 was 50.8 ％ (30/59) in specimens with k-ras mutations and 30.6 ％ (33/108) in specimens with wild type k-ras.There was obviously statistical difference between them (P =0.010).Conclusion NF-κB p65 activation in coloretal cancer was associated with k-ras mutations.

To observe the effect of autologous stem cell transplantation in diabetic retinopathy.
●METHODS:Totally 58 cases (116 eyes) who underwent autologous stem cell transplantation were confirmed as no diabetic retinopathy (18 eyes), mild non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR) (41 eyes), mid-level NPDR (51 eyes); severe NPDR (6 eyes) by ophthalmoscope directly or indirectly and fluorescence fundus angiography (FFA ). Follow - up was 6 - 12mo, the changes of retinopathy were observed.
●RESULTS: The total effective rate of vision and retinopathy was 84. 4%, 76. 7%. The results of severe NPDR was statistically worse than the other groups ( P <0. 05).
●CONCLUSlON: The stable blood glucose level and improved pancreatic function after autologous stem cell transplantation might be helpful in diabetic retinopathy, the long effects need to be researched further.

Objective To investigate the intervention effects of Jiawei Ditan Decoction on oxidative stress and inflammatory reaction in elderly patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS).Methods A total of 60 OSAHS patients with deficiency of phlegm and blood stasis mutual junction were enrolled,and randomly divided into treatment group (n=30,receiving JiaweiDitan Decoction+ conventional treatment for 12 weeks) and control group (n=30,receiving conventional treatment for 12 weeks).The clinical symptoms integral,Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS),apnea hypopnea index (AHI),minimum oxygen saturation (SaO2),superoxide dismutase (SOD),malondialdehyde (MDA),tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α interleukin (IL)-6,and C-reactive protein (CRP) were observed before and after treatment.Results The clinical symptoms integral,AHI value,minimum SaO2,ESS score,levels of SOD,MDA,TNF-α,IL-6 and CRP were significantly improved in treatment group after treatment as compared with pretreatment [(11.65 ± 3.82) points vs.(14.32±4.25) points,(21.18 ± 12.37) times/h vs.(29.16 ± 13.58) times/h,(83.24±7.42)％ vs.(76.92±11.91)％,(7.12±4.84)points vs.(10.01±4.16) points,(99.24± 13.15)×103 U/L vs.(87.511±14.82) ×103 U/L,(8.56 ± 3.23) μmol/L vs.(11.25±3.41) μmol/L,(50.63±10.57) ng/L vs.(58.92±11.65) ng/L,(78.12±15.92) ng/L vs.(89.13± 16.54) ng/L,(9.93±5.25) mg/L vs.(13.59±4.92) mg/L,t=2.559,2.379,2.467,2.480,3.243,3.137,2.887,2.651,2.786,respectively,all P＜0.05].All the above indicators after treatment had significant differences between the treatment group and the control group [(11.65 ± 3.82) points vs.(13.89±4.45) points,(21.18± 12.37) times/h vs.(28.03± 13.12) times/h,(83.24±7.42)％ vs.(78.26±10.15)％,(7.12±4.84) points vs.(9.56±7.12) points,(99.24± 13.15)×103 U/Lvs.(90.13±13.56)×103 U/L,(8.56±3.23) μmol/L vs.(10.86±3.65)μmol/ L,(50.63±10.57) ng/L vs.(56.52±11.04) ng/L,(78.12±15.92) ng/L vs.(87.81±15.61) ng/ L,(9.93±5.25) mg/L vs.(12.97±5.03) mg/L,t=2.092,2.018,2.169,2.009,2.642,2.585,2.111,2.380,2.290,respectively,all P＜0.05].Conclusions Jiawei Ditan Decoction could improve the clinical symptoms and has the intervention effect on oxidative stress and inflammatory reaction in elderly patients with OSAHS,which provides the experimental basis for the treatment of senile OSASH with Chinese herbal medicine.

Objective To study the effect of hidden curriculum on the professional value of nursing students in higher education.Methods A total of 300 full-time nursing students in higher education were collected by the cluster sampling method.They were divided into experimental group and control group by natural class lottery method with 150 students each.The students in experimental group accepted the hidden curriculum such as administrator working of nursing students training,simulated the candidates and the volunteer activities.Then the professional value of the 2 groups was evaluated with nursing professional value questionnaire.Results The total score of the professional value in experimental group after intervention was (126.38±3.29) scores,and caring was (32.50±1.20) scores,trust was (24.40±1.59) scores,justice was (25.54±1.55) scores,profession was (19.64±1.26) scores and behaviorism was (24.31±1.30) scores.The total score of the professional value in control group after intervention was (123.62±2.76) scores,and caring was (32.51±1.24) scores,trust was (22.36±1.30) scores,justice was (26.47±1.54) scores,profession was (19.80±1.23)scores and behaviorism was (22.54±1.59) scores.The scores of trust and behaviorism in experimental group were higher than those in control group,and there were significant differences,t=2.813,2.441,P＜0.05.Conclusions Nursing students of college have positive professional values.The hidden curriculum can cultivate the nursing students' trust and positive psychological quality in higher education.And thus it can be reasonably used in teaching,which would produce a more proactive effect in higher education.

Objective To evaluate the sensitivity of arterial ketone body ratio as an indicator for multiple organ failure.Materials and methods The experimental model of multiple organ failure was made in adult and old rats by hypoperfusion-induced hemorrhagic shock. After blood sampling, the arterial acetoacetate, β-hydroxybutyrate, total ketone body, ALT, AST, BUN, creatinine at 2, 4, 8 hr in hypoperfusion were examined to compare the differences of ketone body ratio and organ failure between adult and old rats. Hepatic and mitochondrial metabolism were assessed by comparing ketone body ratios (AcAc/β-OHB) and free NAD+/NADH ratios. Results Ketone body ratio in old rats at 2, 4, 8 hr after the induction of hemorrhagic shock decreased from 0.68 to 0.31, 0.27 and 0.22, respectively. In adult rats, it decreased from 1.12 to 0.17, 0.12 and 0.09, respectively. Changes of ketone body ratio in the adult group were larger than in the elderly group ( P ＜ 0.001). The development of multiple organ failure is associated with the time of hemorrhagic shock development. Conclusions There was a different ketone body ratio between multiple organ failure in the elderly (MOFE) and multiple organ failure (MOF) in general adults. Ketone body ratio is a better indicator than ALT and AST in reflecting hepatic function in the early status of MOF. (J Geriatr Cardiol 2004;1(2) :125-128. )
