The paper introduces reference work in the new age from its modes, contents, characteristics and developing strategies,including establishing characteristic resources, improving quality of librarians, carrying out network consultant and information navigation, establishing collaborative digital reference, in order to provide reference for primary hospital libraries.

Objective To establish the quality standard for Yuyuan Mingmu Granula. Methods Radix Et Rhizoma Notoginseng,Fructus Schisanrae Chinesis,Flos Scophorae and Fructus Forsythiae were identified by TLC. The content of loganin was determined by HPLC. Results Under the selected conditions,clear and specific spots were obtained. For content determination,the linear range of loganin was 0.084 ?g～0.840 ?g,r=0.999 9,the average recovery was 98.5 %(n=6)and RSD was 1.29 %. ConcLusion The method is proved to be simple and specialized with a good reproductivity and can be used to control the quality of Yuyuan Mingmu Granula.

BACKGROUND: At present, more and more people pay attention to the protection of sub-hypothermia on cerebral ischemic tissue and the effect of sub-hypothermia treatment on inflammatory reaction after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of sub-hypothermia on inflammatory cytokine in cerebral ischemic area of rats and protection on cerebral reperfusion injury.DESIGN: Randomized controlled study on the basis of animals.SETTLNG: People's Hospital of Hubei Province.MATERIALS: The experiment was completed at Laboratory Center of Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University from October 2004 to February 2005. Totally 50 healthy SD rats of clean grade were selected in this study.METHODS: Ten SD rats were divided randomly into normal group and sham operation group with 5 in each group. Other 40 rats were divided randomly into normal temperature cerebral ischemia group and sub-hypothermia cerebral ischemia group with 20 in each group. Rats except 5 in normal group were used to establish reversible ligation model of left middle cerebral artery (MCA) with Longa ligation method. Rats in sham operation group and normal temperature group were put in 20 ℃ room, and anus temperature was maintained at 37 ℃; rats in sub-hypothermia group were put in 4 ℃ room and anus temperature was maintained at (33.0±1.0) ℃.Rats in sub-hypothermia group were treated with sub-hypothermia on whole body, after ischemia, temperature was changed normally, and reperfusion was started 3 hours after cerebral ischemia. All modeling rats were scored with neurological defect: 0 point: none of neurological defect; 1 point: unable to unfold bilateral anterior claws; 2 points: cycling to hemiplegia side during walking; 3 points: falling to hemiplegia side; 4 points: unable to self-walk and with unconsciousness.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Expression of tumor necrosis factor (TNF) andinterleukin-1 in cerebral tissue of ischemic rats, percentage of volume of cerebral infarction,and neurological functional scores.RESULTS: Fifteen rats were excluded because of intracranial hemorrhage,anesthetic accident and unqualified neurological functional scores. Other 15 rats with successful modeling were supplied randomly, and totally 50rats entered the final analysis. ① Number of TNF positive cell in immunohistochemical staining: There were no significant differences between normal group and sham operation group [(3.54±1.24, 3.71±1.50) /sight]; but numbers in sub-hypothermia group were lower than those in normal temperature group [(31.94±7.23, 69.20±9.43)/sight, F=179.16, P ＜ 0.001]. ②Numbers of interleukin-1 positive cells in immunohistochemical staining:There were not significant differences between normal group and sham operation group [(3.20±1.34, 3.89±2.08) /sight]; but numbers in sub-hypothermia group were lower than those in normal temperature group [(28.95±4.97, 55.79±7.93)/sight, F=174.95, P ＜ 0.001]. ③ Volume percentage of infarct focus: Percentage in sub-hypothermia group was lower than that in normal temperature group [(21.06±2.42)%, 30.32±2.71], F =374.87, P ＜ 0.001]. ④ Neurological functional scores: Percentage in subhypothermia group was lower than that in normal temperature group [(1.35±0.27)%, (2.04±0.34)%, F=117.17, P ＜ 0.001].CONCLUSION: ① Volume of cerebral infarction focus is lower in subhypothermia group than that in normal temperature group, this suggests that sub-hypothermia can protect ischemic neurons. ② Positive expressions of TNF and interleukin-1 are observed rarely in normal group and sham operation group, but more expression of positive cells are observed in cerebral ischemic area with 24-hour reperfusion after ischemia, this suggests that cerebral ischemia starts expression of inflammatory cytokine, evoke inflammatory cascade reaction, deteriorate cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury. Therefore, inhibition of inflammatory cascade reaction is one of important mechanisms of protecting brain.

Progesteron could significantly inhibit the contracted effect of strips of tracheal and lung smooth muscles isolated from guinea pigs, which induced by Ach His and 5- HT. It also inhibited the contractility of phase I caused by intracellular calciumefflux in the course of 5 -HT stimulating tracheal smooth muscles and the Schultz - Dale responsiveness of sensilized of tracheal smooth muscles guinea pigs.

Objective:To study parenting style of difficultly educated children and the state of their mental health.Methods:Randomly select 120 difficultly educated children from a Training Camp in Changsha and used SCL-90 and EMBU to rate their parenting style and mental health.Results:The mental health condition of difficultly educated children was significantly worse than the norms,but the normal middle school students parental warmth was higher than the difficutly educated students.Difficultly educated children scored significantly higher in father's firm control,punishment,over interference,rejection and denial and maternal rejection and denial,firm control and punishment,but significantly lower in parental warmth.Conclusion:Difficultly educated children had got more mental problems,and their parents treat them with more negative parenting style and less positive parenting style.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of montelukast on the secretion of mucus protein in lipopolysaccharide (LPS) induced human bronchial epithelial cells.MethodsPrimary human bronchial epithelial cells were isolated and identiifed in vitro. LPS (1μg/mL) was used to induce cell inlfammatory response. Montelukast (50 μmol/L, 20μmol/L, 10μmol/L) was used as intervention. The concertration of mucin-5 subtype AC (MUC5AC) in cell supernatants was measured by ELISA. The expression levels of MUC5AC mRNA and protein were determined by RT-PCR and Western-blot. DCFH-DA lfuorescent probe was used to detect reactive oxygen species (ROS). To further elucidate the mechanism, NF-κB (p65)、IκBα、ERK1/2 phosphorylation be-fore and after montelukast intervention were determined by Western-blot.ResultsMontelukast decreases the expression levels of MUC5AC mRNA and protein in a dose-dependent manner in LPS induced human bronchial epithelial cells. Meanwhile, mon-teluskast suppresses ROS generation and NF-κB (p65)、IκBα、ERK1/2 phosphorylation.Conclusions In response to LPS in-duced inlfammation, montelukast decreases the expression level of MUC5AC in vitro, which may be related to NF-κB and ERK activation.

Objective To observe clinical effects of compound Muniziqi granules combined with vitamin A acid cream, and analyze its mechanism of action.Methods 76 cases of patients with chloasma treated in our hospital in March 2010 to February 2014 were selected.They were divided into two groups according to random number table method, 38 cases in each group.Observation group was given compound Muniziqi granules( three times per day,orally) combined with vitamin A acid cream(smear once respectively each morning and evening),control group was taken vitamin C 0.3 g and vitamin E 0.2 g ( three times per day, orally ) comined with vitamin A acid cream ( smear once respectively each morning and evening ) treatment.Observed clinical effects, scores of lesion area and color, detected serum estrogen level in both groups by radioimmunoassay. Results Compared with pre-treatment lesion area and color scores of observation group significantly reduced ( P<0.05 ).Compared with control group post-treatment, lesion area and color scores of observation group significantly reduced(P<0.05).Clinical effective rates of observation group and control group was 94.74%and 75.31%, respectively, the difference was significantly between two groups(P<0.05).Compared with pre-treatment, serum E2, FSH, LH levels of observation group were remarkably reduced(P<0.05).Compared with control group post-treatment, serum E2,FSH,LH levels of observation group significantly reduced(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of compound Muniziqi granules combined with vitamin A acid cream on chloasma is significant.Its mechanism may be relate to levels of estradiol, follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone.

Objective Analysis of clinical distribution and susceptibility to antimicrobial agents in producing extended spectrumβ-lactamases (ESBLs)of Escherichia coli(ECO)and Klebsiella pneumoniae (KPN).Methods The samples from 2013 April to 2014 December in Changji Prefecture People′s Hospital were cultured and identified,drug sensitivity test did by VITEK2compat au-tomatic bacteria analysis,phenotypic confirmatory test was did on producing ESBLs ECO and KPN,and the clinical distribution and drug resistance was analyzed.Results 1 576 strains of ECO and KPN isolated 306 strains of producing ESBLs strains and 343 strains of multi drug resistant bacteria,the isolation rates were 1 9.4% and 21.8% respectively.In 576 strains of ECO,there were 1 77 strains of producing ESBLs strains and 202 strains of multi drug resistant bacteria were isolated,the separation rates were 30.7% and 35.1% respectively,generic drug resistant strains were not found,and those producing ESBLs strains were isolated mainly from the urine specimens (39.5%),and mainly from the ICU (37.3%)and (29.9%)the surgical ward.There were 129 strains of producing ESBLs strains,141 strains of multi drug resistant bacteria and 4 generic drug resistant strains were isolated from 1 000 strains of KPN,the separation rates were 12.9%,14.1% and 0.4% respectively,and those producing ESBLs strains were isolated mainly from sputum specimens (83.7%),and mainly from the ICU (42.6%)and(29.5%)in the department of inter-nal medicine.Isolation of producing ESBLs ECO and multi drug resistant bacteria were higher than KPN,the difference were statis-tically significant (P <0.05).The sensitivities of ECO and KPN ESBLs strains to carbapenems imipenem andaminoglycosides ami-kacin and compound preparation piperacillin/tazobactam were good,the other antimicrobial drug resistance rates were more than 50.0%.Conclusion ESBLs ECO mainly causes urinary tract infections,KPN mainly causes respiratory tract infection.Detection rates of producing ESBLs ECO and KPN were high,and the multi drug resistance is serious,should strengthen the monitoring of drug resistance on producing ESBLs strains,and according to the results of drug susceptibility,standardize the rational use of anti-microbial agents,and to strengthen the management of antimicrobial agents,delay the occurrence of bacterial resistance.

Objective To study sedative hypnotic pharmacodynamics of Shui'an Capsule,and provide experimental basis for the expansion of clinical indications.Method The effects of different concentrations of Shui'an Capsule on spontaneous activity of mice,induced dormancy of the mice with subliminal and suprathreshold dose of sodium pentobarbital and resisted convulsions of mice caused by Dimenlini Hydrochloridum were observed.Result Shui'an Capsule could significantly decrease times of spontaneous motion in mice,prolong sleeping time with pentobarbital sodium of superthreshold dose,and decrease the latent period of sleep.Conclusion Shui'an Capsule produces obvious sedative hypnotic effect.

Objective To determine whether the AT, All66C gene polymorphism is associated with CHD in type 2 diabetes patients. Methods Investigating the allele frequency and the genotype distribution of the AT1 All66C gene in the group of normal control (n= 73),simple diabetes (n= 80),diabetic CHD (n=43) by means of PCR-RFLP. Results The group of diabetic CHD had a significant higher frequency of C allele of the AT1 All66C gene than normal control (X2 = 6. 02,P＜0. 05) and diabetes (X2= 5. 71,P＜0. 05). Conclusion The result indicated that there was an association between the 1166C allele of the AT1 gene polymorphism and CHD in type 2 diabetes patients.
