Objective To investigate the related risk factors for stroke among residents aged over 26 years old in communities in Chongqing,to set up a quantitative criteria for determining risk for stroke, and to evaluate and predict the risk of the stroke for individuals. Methods 1 034 cases with 1:2 matched controls were chosen from five communities in Chongqing, which were interviewed with a uniform questionnaire. The risk factors of stroke were analyzed with Logistic regression, collected the odds ratios of risk factors for stroke, and different levels of risk exposure factors be converted into a risk scores by using statistical models. The related risk scores were added to obtain a combined risk score to predict the individual's risk of stoke in the future. Results An individual health risk appraisal model of stroke applicable to individuals of different sex, age, health behavior, disease and family history was established. For men,11 risk factors, including hypertension(5.728),coronary heart disease(5.404),family history of stroke(4.599),and so on,were entered the main effect model;for women,hypertension(5.270),family history of stroke(4.866),hyperlipidemia(4.346),and other eight risk factors entered the main effect model. Conclusion Personal diseases, including hypertension,CHD and hyperlipidemia, etc.,are very important risk factors for stoke. The stroke prevalence can be effectively reduced by changing the unhealthy lifestyle and curing the related individual diseases. The evaluation model of the risk score for stroke based on the main risk factors could be useful in the future health education and community health service on stroke prevention.

China Pharmacy 2007;0(35):-
OBJECTIVE:To establish an ion-pair RP-HPLC method for determination of the concentration of netilmicin sulfate in human serum.METHODS:The determination was performed on Luna C18 column with column temperature set at 40℃;the mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-water (15∶85,pH 2.0,containing 10 mmol?L-1 sodium heptanesulfonate) at a flow rate of 0.8 mL?min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 205 nm.RESULTS:The linear range of netilmicin was 2~20 mg?L-1(r=0.997 6) with a recovery rate of 93.66%~96.05%.The intra-day and inter-day RSD were both less than 10%,respectively.CONCLUSION:The method is sensitive and simple with accurate and reliable results, and it is able to satisfy the requirement for the determination of serum concentration of netilmicin.

Objective To investigate the salty, efficacy and feasiblify on eholedochotomy with endobiliary drainage and prumary closure of the common bile duct. Methods There were 20 partients without introhepatic or re-tained stones and biliary stricture underwent common bile duet exploration. 20 of them with endobiliary tube drainage and primary CBD closure and the other 20 patients with T tube drainage. Results The average of the time to return routine home was (9. 2 ±1. 3)d, (15. 2 ± 3.6) d(P < 0. 01). The hospital expense of postoperation was (3 252± 312)Yuan,(4 116±388)Yuan(P<0.01). Conclusion Choledochotomy with endobiliary catheter and primary closure of CBD is a safe, effective and feasible procedure for the management of choledochohthiasis.

Objective To develop a observation table with influencing factors for catheter-associated urinary tract infections in critical patients and verify its reliability and validity. Methods Literature review, brainstorming method, expert interview and group discussion were performed to identify items of the form. By convenience sampling method, totally 130 severe patients with urinary catheter were investigated by this scale. This form was evaluated by item analysis, exploratory factor analysis and reliability and validity test. Results The observation table with influencing factors for Catheter-associated Urinary Tract Infections in critical patients consisted of five dimensions and 26 items. The cumulative contribution of variance was 73.752%, the Cronbach′s alpha coefficient was 0.869 and the Spearman-Brown split-half coefficient was 0.828. Regarding to the construct validity, the correlation coefficient between the each factor and total observation table was 0.652~0.873, the correlation coefficient between the factors was 0.311~0.823. All the difference of correlation coefficients were statistically significant (P<0.01). Conclusions The observation table with influencing factors for Catheter-associated Urinary Tract Infections in critical patients has been proved to be reliable and valid. It can be used as a valid tool to assess influencing factors for Catheter-associated Urinary Tract Infections in critical patients.

For recent two decades, radiofrequency ablation technology(RFA)has made great progress in the field of the treatment for diseases for its distinguishing characteristic of microtrauma, targeted, effective and almost having no side-effect.At the very beginning, radiofrequency ablation was adopted in treating solid tumors, and since then it has been gradually practiced in treating benign diseases of solid organs such as hypersplenism, prostatic hyperplasia and widely used in almost every system of the body. Here,we review its therapic principle, types and clinical application.

Objective To investigate the apoptosis of gastric carcinoma SGC-7901 cell induced by histone deacetylase inhibitor(TSA)and to clarify its mechanisms. Methods The apoptosis-inducing role of TSA on gastric carcinoma SGC-7901 cell was investigated with the help of cell proliferation assay,Annexin V stain, cell flow analyzer and Tunel assay.Western blot, gene chips, real time PCR were employed to study the influence and mechanisms of TSA on the expression of gastric carcinoma cell SGC-7901 p53,bax,etc.Results TSA could induce the apoptosis of gastric carcinoma SGC-7901 cells, increase the expression of p53 and bax,and decrease the expression of bcl-2.survivin and easpase in gastric carcinoma SGC-7901 cells.TSA could transfer AIF and EndoG from mitochondria to nucleus. The apoptosis induced by TSA was brought about through the regulation of multiple apoptosis-related genes, and the apoptosis pathway induced by TSA was caspase-independent.Conclusion TSA can induce caspase-independent apoptosis in gastric carcinoma SGC-7901 cell through the regulation of multiple apoptosis-related genes.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of interventional thermochemotherapy for VX2 transplanted hepatic tumor model in experimental rabbits. Methods The hepatic tumor model was established in 20 New Zealand rabbits by implanting VX2 tumor cells into the right hepatic lobes of the rabbits. The rabbits were randomly and equally divided into two groups with 10 rabbits in each group:group A (study group)and group B(control group).Via the femoral access, the catheter was placed into the tumorfeeding artery, which was confirmed by DSA.The rabbits in group A received an infusion of 100 ml 5% glucose plus 5-Fu(20 mg/kg)at 60℃ temperature, while the rabbits in group B received an infusion of 100 ml 5% glucose plus 5-Fu(20 mg/kg)at normal room temperature(22-25℃).Before and after the procedure, the tumor size was measured by means of B ultrasonography and the serum ALT was estimated to assess the liver function. The results were statistically compared between two groups. Results After the treatment, the tumor size in group A(study group)became much smaller than that in group B(control group),with P<0.05.And no significant difference in the serum ALT level existed between group A and group B.Conclusion The interventional thermochemotherapy is superior to interventional chemotherapy in inhibiting VX2 transplanted hepatic tumor in experimental rabbits.
