Objective To investigate the features of kidney transplantation in patients over 60 years old. Methods From May 1998 to Oct. 2001,the clinical data of 81 cases over 60 post kidney transplantation were retrospectively analysed and compared with those of 432 patients below 60 age. Results The dialysis time of senile group was longer and the hypoproteinemia was sever than that of control group (P 0.05). The postoperative incidence of pulmonary infection was higher(P

Objective To summarize the experiences of kidney retransplantation from 1978 to Dec. 2002.Methods The clinical data of 86 cases subject to first renal transplantation and 86 cases to second renal transplantation were retrospectively analyzed. The main causes of failure of the first renal transplantation were CAN, while those of the second renal transplantation were HAR, and other complications such as AR, graft rupture and serious graft T.B. PRA or CDC in 31 cases was positive before retransplantation. The clinical data such as antibody-inducing therapy, the protocols of immunosuppression and the survival rates of patients and grafts in these patients were analyzed. Results Survival rates at 1, 3, 5 year of the patient/graft of retransplantation group were 84.8 %/61.6 %, 79.1 %/45.3 % and 58.1 %/41.9 % respectively, while those at 1, 3, 5 years of the patient/graft with the first renal transplantation were 89.5 %/79.1 %, 81.4 %/74.4 % and 67.4 %/58.1 % respectively. No significant difference in the patient survival rates and graft survival rates was observed (P

The expression of microRNA (miRNA) is closely related to radio-chemosensitivity in glioma stem cells (GSCs).Moreover, the growth of glioma stem cells could be inhibited comprehensively by increasing radio-chemosensitivity and apoptosis, simultaneously with the regulation of a single miRNA,which has been confirmed by some researches.Thereby microRNA is prospective for the adoption as a specific agent in targeted therapy of glioma,so as to increase the radio-chemosensitivity in glioma stem cells.

Objective: This study aims to analyze the effects of catastrophic disease insurance (CDI), especially to evaluate the influences of CDI on the discrepancy of benefits between the patients covered by the Employee's Medical Insurance (EMI) and the Resident's Medical Insurance (RMI).Methods: The data used in the study are collected from the health insurance database of Zhuhai City in the years of 2012 and 2014.A descriptive analysis is made to depict the general situation of CDI in the city, and a logistic regression model is used to analyze the factors that affect the probability to get the benefits of CDI.Moreover, a triple difference model is built up to probe into the CDI's effects on the discrepancy of reimbursement ratio between patients covered by EMI and RMI.Results: The benefits of CDI favor the patients with old age, high medical expenditures and chronic diseases. When other factors are controlled, patients covered by EMI have lower probability to get CDI benefits than those covered by RMI.Within the patients with high medical expenditures who have gotten the CDI benefits, those covered by EMI enjoy higher reimbursement ratio than those covered by RMI, but CDI decreases the discrepancy by 3.2%.Conclusions: Since the CDI gives more favor to the vulnerable population and narrows the gap of the benefits between EMI and RMI, the policy improves the equity of health security.

Objective To investigate the impact of daily life ability, self-efficacy and social support on post-stroke depression. Methods This was a cross-sectional questionnaire survey. A convenience sample of stroke patients from neurology department was created. Data were collected from patients about their level of daily life ability, self-efficacy, social support and depression measured. Inferential statistics multiple regression analysis was used to estimate the relationships between the predictors and post-stroke depression. Results A total of 144 (96.00%) of 150 stroke patients completed the questionnaires. The level of depression was 14.19 ± 9.25 with 25.00% (36/144) of incidence of post-stroke depression. Self-efficacy scored 40.45 ± 11.41, social support scored 28.34 ± 8.02, which negatively predicted depression (r=-0.834 and-0.736, P<0.01 respectively). Self-efficacy had the most significant impact on depression (t=-6.433, P < 0.01), however, the impact from daily life ability scored 76.74 ± 22.12, which had not statistically significant impact on depression (t=-1.773, P=0.083). Conclusions During treatment and nursing management of post-stroke depression, attention should be paid to the psychiatric variable such as self-efficacy and social support.

Objective:To develop the Abusive Behavior Scale for Superiors under the Chinese context (ABSSC) and test its validity and reliability. Methods:Based on literature analysis and the open questionnaire survey in 32 employees, this study defined the construct of ASBSS,and compiled the preliminary questionnaire.A sample of 200 employees coming from companies was selected for item analysis.A sample of 445 employees was investigated with this questionnaire,223 of them were assessed for exploratory factor analysis and 222 of them were assessed for confirmatory factor analysis and internal consistency test with 2 week interval. Results:The ABSSC consisted of 11 items in 3 factors, which were neglect and slander, obstructionism and hard on subordinates. The 3 factors explained 55.45% of the total variance.Furthermore, the result of CFA indicated that the model fitted the data with well constmct validity (RMSEA =0.06,GFI =0.94,NFI =0.92,CFI =0.96,IFI =0.96).The Cronbach α coefficient of the whole scale and its three facts were 0.87,0.79,0.78,and 0.76,respectively.Conclusion:It suggests that the Abusive Behavior Scale for superiors under the Chinese context (ABSSC) is reliable and valid enough to be applicable to measure superiors' abusive behavior under the background of Chinese culture.

Objective To develop a liquid bandage for self aid of war wound. Methods Solution A and B were prepared containing functional polymers derived from the biocompatible poly (ethylene glycol) and hyaluronic acid, which had ability of fast crosslinking reaction when they were mixed.Among them,A solution mainly comprised of mercapto group-containing hyaluronic acid derivative (HA-SH),water-solubility starch, propylene glycol, benzoic acid and etc.B solution contained pentaerythritol tetraacrylate derivative (4arm-PEG-Acrylate) and benzoic acid. The structure of mercapto group-containing hyaluronic acid derivative was confirmed by IR,1H-NMR and etc.HA-SH and 4arm-PEG-Acrylate were formulated to different concentrations (W/V) in different buffers. The two kinds of solution were mixed in different ratios, and in situ crosslinking hyaluronic acid hydrogel was obtained;the crosslinking time was recorded. The adhesive force and waterholding capacity of the hydrogel after crosslinking were measured by adding excipients such as water-solubility starch. Results In case the concentration of HA-SH and 4arm-PEG-Acrylate was 2% and pH value was 11,the hydrogel film on wound skin would be quickly formed in 20 seconds for wound dressing after spraying A and B solution onto the wound skin. Conclusion The liquid bandage has strong adhesive force, high water-holding capacity and controllable crosslinking time,so it could be used as a novel wound dressing for war wound.

Objective To analyze the treatment effects of cervical disc herniation treated by ozone combined with radiofrequency ther-mocoagulation. Methods Ninety cases of cervical intervertebral disc herniation were collected from our hospital in July 2009 to December 2013,who were treated by ozone combined with radiofrequency thermocoagulation. The patients were followed up for at least 3~6 months and the improvement rate was calculated according to the Macnab improved standard. Results All the patients were followed up for at least 3~6 months, according to the Macnab standard improved,50 cases were excellent, good in 25 cases,in 10 cases and poor in 5 cases, the improve-ment rate was 94. 4%. Conclusion The treatment of cervical disc herniation by ozone combined with radiofrequency thermocoagulation is one of the interventional therapy methods, which is minimally invasive and relatively safe. The treatment method has the following advantages, such as,satisfactory effect, accurate operation safety, less complications and without destroying the stability of the spinal structure.
