Objective: This study aims to analyze the effects of catastrophic disease insurance (CDI), especially to evaluate the influences of CDI on the discrepancy of benefits between the patients covered by the Employee's Medical Insurance (EMI) and the Resident's Medical Insurance (RMI).Methods: The data used in the study are collected from the health insurance database of Zhuhai City in the years of 2012 and 2014.A descriptive analysis is made to depict the general situation of CDI in the city, and a logistic regression model is used to analyze the factors that affect the probability to get the benefits of CDI.Moreover, a triple difference model is built up to probe into the CDI's effects on the discrepancy of reimbursement ratio between patients covered by EMI and RMI.Results: The benefits of CDI favor the patients with old age, high medical expenditures and chronic diseases. When other factors are controlled, patients covered by EMI have lower probability to get CDI benefits than those covered by RMI.Within the patients with high medical expenditures who have gotten the CDI benefits, those covered by EMI enjoy higher reimbursement ratio than those covered by RMI, but CDI decreases the discrepancy by 3.2%.Conclusions: Since the CDI gives more favor to the vulnerable population and narrows the gap of the benefits between EMI and RMI, the policy improves the equity of health security.

Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2019;35(10):2214-2219
ObjectiveTo systematically evaluate the value of contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT) and contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (CEMRI) in the diagnosis of residual or recurrent lesion after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). MethodsPubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, CNKI, and Wanfang Data were searched for studies on CECT and/or CEMRI in the diagnosis of residual or recurrent lesion after TACE published up to April 2019. After two reviewers independently performed literature screening, data extraction, and assessment of the risk of bias using the QUADAS-2 tool, Stata 12.0 and RevMan 5.3 were used to analyze pooled sensitivity, specificity, and area under the receiver operator characteristic curve (AUC). ResultsA total of 13 studies on CECT and 13 studies on CEMRI in the diagnosis of residual or recurrent HCC lesion after TACE were included, with 934 lesions from 748 patients and 847 lesions from 557 patients, respectively. High heterogeneity was observed in the 13 studies on CECT in the diagnosis of residual or recurrent HCC lesion after TACE (P=0.001, Q=12.56, I2=84.08%), while no significant heterogeneity was observed in the 13 studies on CEMRI (P=0.473, Q=0.11, I2=0). In the diagnosis of residual or recurrent HCC lesion after TACE, CECT had a sensitivity of 72% (95% confidence interval [CI]: 66%-78%), a specificity of 99% (95% CI: 93%-100%), and an AUC of 0.87 (95% CI: 0.83-0.89), and CEMRI had a sensitivity of 88% (95% CI: 82%-93%), a specificity of 96% (95% CI: 91%-98%), and an AUC of 0.98 (95% CI: 0.96-0.99). CECT had a significantly lower sensitivity than CEMRI in the diagnosis of residual or recurrent HCC lesion after TACE (Z=2.12, P=0.03). ConclusionIn comparison with CECT, CEMRI has an extremely higher diagnostic efficiency in the diagnosis of residual or recurrent HCC lesion after TACE and is thus an effective method for diagnosis.

China Occupational Medicine 2017;44(06):754-757
OBJECTIVE: To explore the current situation of work stress, mental resilience and mental health in the local policemen, and to explore the association among these three variables. METHODS: A total of 260 local policemen in 3 districts of a city in Hebei Province were selected as the study subjects using cluster sampling method. The Chinese version of Perceived Stress Scale,Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale and General Health Questionnaire were used to evaluate their work stress, mental resilience and mental health. RESULTS: There was a negative correlation between work stress and mental resilience( P < 0. 01). Positive correlation was found between work stress and mental health( P < 0. 01). The mental resilience was negatively correlated with mental health( P < 0. 01). The mental resilience could negatively predict mental health( β =-0. 31,P < 0. 01). Work stress could positively predict mental health( β = 0. 56,P < 0. 01). Work stress had a negative prediction on mental resilience( β =-0. 47,P < 0. 01). Mental resilience played a partial mediating role between work stress and mental health( β = 0. 41,P < 0. 01). The mediating effect accounted for 26. 0% of the total effect. CONCLUSION: Mental resilience plays a partial mediating role in influencing work stress on mental health. Reducing work stress and increasing resilience play an important protective role in mental health of local policemen.
