Chinese Journal of Marine Drugs 1994;0(02):-
Oyster protein was extracted from fresh oyster using salting-out method. It was determined by Kjeldahl procedure that the protein content was about 38. 6% and free amino-ni-trogen content of total nitrogen was about 21. 6%. Hydrolytic characteristic of oyster protein was analyzed by hydrolytic enzymes. SDS-PAGE results showed there were 4 types of protein zones. And the average molecular weight was 16172, 17633, 43227 and 57909, respectively.

ObjectiveTo measure the perfusion parameters of liver fibrosis of dog model with 64-slice spiral CT,and compare with positive control to reflect the degree of liver fibrosis, and analyze the correlation with VEGF values. Methods Liver fibrosis was induced in dogs by intraperitoneal injection of CC14 and high fat diet.CT perfusion scan and liver biopsies were performed. The perfusion parameters were measured according to the liver fibrosis models, and the correlation with VEGF values was analyzed.ResultsThe animals in experimental group were successfully induced different degree of liver fibrosis. In normal group, the hepatic artery perfusion, portal vein perfusion and total hepatic blood flow were (28.25 ±2.19)ml/(min · 100 g),(53.53 ± 10.71)ml/(min · 100 g) and (81.78 ± 18.56) ml/(min · 100 g).The PVP and TLP values of the liver fibrosis models of 0 - 4 stages declined gradually, and it had statistical significance, while the HAP values increased. The PVP and TLP values were positive correlated with fibrosis stage. The VEGF values of the pathological models of 0 - 4 stages ascended significantly. Conclusions The dog liver fibrosis models that are similar to human hepatic fibrosis have been successfully induced by low dose CC14 and high fat diet.CT perfusion can be used to monitor the tendency of the hemodynamic in different degree of fibrosis.VEGF may play an important role during liver fibrogenesis.

Objective The study aimed to study and translate the English edition of HHIE-S into Chinese, and verify the reliability and validity of the scale. Methods The Chinese scale was formed by translation,back-translation,revision and other steps.A total of 170 elder sujbects with normal hearing and presbycusis were sur-veyed.One to two weeks later, they were resurveyed.ResuIts The Chinese version of HHIE-S included 10 entries which were completely retained for their strong correlations. The scale had two subscales:emotional and situation-al,the Cronbach's αcoefficient of the scale were 0.889 and 0.924,respectively,the total coefficient was 0.935;the split-half reliability outcomes of the two subscales were 0.836 and 0.903.The total split -half reliability was 0.836 and the test-retest reliabilities of the two subscales and the ten items were between 0.749 and 0.921.The total scale was was 0.963.For the validity test:the correlation between the ten items and two subscales were 0.750 and 0.927,the correlation between the ten items and the total were 0.659 and 0.878,respectively.The varimax ro-tation factor analysis identified two principal factors:emotional subscale and situational subscale. The two factors would be used to explain 73.874% of the ten items. The factor loadings of 10 entries in the scale were all between 0.684 and 0.871 and the factor loadings of all entries on the corresponding factors were greater than 0.60,consist-ent with the source scale. The average hearing threshold was considered as the gold standard, the two subscales and the total scale were positively correlated to the pure-tone average.ConcIusion The Chinese version of HHIE-S conformed to the characteristics of Chinese culture, and easily accepted by elderly people. The scale had stable structure, satisfactory reliability and validity, provided the basis for a preliminary hearing screening of elder Chinese.

A cross-sectional study in 116 patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) was carried out by using the short-form-36 health survey (SF-36), serf-rating anxiety scale ( SAS), and self-rating depression scale (SDS) from January 2008 to April 2008 in our reproduction center. In comparison with the healthy controls, the PCOS patients showed decreased quality of life (QOL) for all items of SF-36 (P<0.05) except for body pain or role-physical scales. The differences in SAS and SDS between the PCOS and the healthy controls were statistically significant (P<0.05). Our study results confirm the negative impacts of PCOS over the quality of life;subfertility, obesity, hirsutism, acne, complications, menstrual irregularity and educational levels might contribute to the reduced QOL.

Objective To investigate the imaging characteristics of rabbit liver VX2 tumor with contrast-enhanced ultrasonography(CEUS) and multidetector spiral CT(MDCT), to explore the criterion of phase timing apllicable to the model. Methods CEUS and MDCT were acquired in thirty-three New Zealand rabbits with hepatic VX2 tumors. The initial time of hepatic arterial phase was verified as the time the hepatic artery beginning to enhance, the initial time of portal phase as the time the VX2 tumor reaching peak enhancement and the initial time of hepatic parenchymal phase as the time the hepatic parenchyma reaching peak enhancement. The enhancing characteristics were observed. The time-intensity curve of VX2 tumor and peripheral parenchyma in CEUS was analysed and compared with the time-desity curve of abdominal aorta, portal vein, hepatic parenchyma and tumor in MDCT.Results The initial time of heptic arterial phase, portal phase and parenchymal phase in CEUS and MDCT was (6.82±1.36)s and (9.43±2.23)s,(11.64±2.03)s and (13.77±2.01)s,(20.24±4.17)s and (22.71± 4.58)s,respectively.The initial time of each phase in CEUS was earlier than that in MDCT (P<0.01).The contrast enhancing characteristics in CEUS and MDCT were consistent as fast wash-in and fast wash-out.Conclusions The status of hemodynamic perfusion in rabbit hepatic VX2 tumor could be well displayed by CEUS and the phase timing criterion concluded in this experimental study could offer fundmental theory basis for relevant imaging evaluation.

Objective To discuss the importance of balloon occlusion test before interventional treatment of the intracranial giant intemal carotid artery aneurysms and to sum up the nursing experience in assisting the procedure. Methods Proper perioperative nursing measures were carried out for 12 patients, who suffered from intracranial giant internal carotid artery aneurysm and underwent spring coil occlusion treatment. Nursing measures included mental care, observation of the vital signs, prevention of the complications, etc. Results Neither death nor exacerbation of the condition occurred in all the 12 patients. The patients were discharged from the hospital with a mean hospitalization of nine days. During a follow-up period ranged from 4 months to one year, seven patients had no disagreeable feeling, one patient complained of discomfort but no abnormality was found on follow-up DSA, and disappearance of the aneurysm was observed in 4 patients. Conclusion The monitoring of the vital signs, the prevention of the complications and the standard nursing care are the key points for ensuring a successful operation in treating intracranial giant intemal carotid artery aneurysms with spring coil occlusion.
