This paper deals with the regional anatomy of the neck and some common acupoints. Acupoint Renying (ST 9) is taken as an example to elaborate the needling techniques and needling precautions of neck acupoints.

Objective To evaluate the association of prognostic factors and the interval between surgery and radiotherapy in postoperative radiotherapy for non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods Between December 1982 and December 1992, 132 patients with NSCLC were retrospectively analyzed. The time interval between surgery and radiotherapy ranged from 12 to 90 days, with a median of 36 days. All patients received D T 40～72 Gy. Results Cox proportional analysis showed that stage, Karnofsky performance status, and the interval between treatments were important prognostic factors. Objective To explore the types, clinical pathologic and immunohistochemical features of spindle cell tumors of the uterine and broad ligament. Methods Clinical pathological files of spindle cell tumors in the uterine and broad ligament from 2007.12 to 2015.12 were reviewed. Results The primary sites of the 145 cases was cervical in 11 cases (7.58%), uterine body in 119 cases (82.07%), the broad ligament in 12 cases (8.28%), and uterine or cervix and the abdominal wall in 3 case (2.07%). Histopathological types of the 145 cases was smooth muscle origin in 126 cases (86.90%), of which 120 cases had benign leiomyoma, 3 cases had uncertain malignant potential and 3 cases had leiomyosarcoma;endometrial stromal origin in 15 cases (10.34%), including endometrial stromal nodule (5 cases), endometrial stromal sarcoma (10 cases); endometrial stromal- variant (3 cases, 2.07%), including endometrial stromal nodule associated with smooth muscle differentiation (2 cases), endometrial stromal sarcoma associated with smooth muscle differentiation (1 case); gastrointestinal stromal tumor (1 case, 0.68%). Conclusions Origin of spindle cell tumors of the uterine and broad ligament is mainly smooth muscle, endometrial stromal origin, and endometrial stromal tumor variants, and gastrointestinal stromal tumors in rare cases. We need to combine the clinical site, pathological morphology and immunohistochemistry for diagnosis and differential diagnosis.

Objective To investigate the career decision-making self-efficacy as well as the psychological well-being of medical students and to discuss the correlation between them.Methods A cross-sectional survey with cluster random sampling was performed anonymously among 714 students of different majors and different grades in an medical University.The contents of the survey included the career decision making self-efficacy scale (CDMSE) as well as the self-reporting inventory(SCL-90).All data in the two groups were analyzed with t test; comparison of data between groups were analyzed with One-Way ANOVA; multiple comparison was analyzed with S-N-K; Pearson and Partial correlation analysis were used to analyzed the correlation between the career decision making self-efficacy and wellbeing.Results Totally 659 students completed the inventory,with response rate being92.3％.Average score of the participants' career decision-making self-efficacy was (124.72 ± 26.76)points,situating at the middle and lower level.There were differences in the scores of career decision making selfefficacy among different sexes,sources,grades and being student cadres or not (P =0.019,0.000,0.027,0.026) ; No differences was found among students of different majors and whether being the only child(P =0.243,0.223).Results of the SCL-90 inventory demonstrated that medical students had some psychological problems including obsessive-compulsive,interpersonal sensitivity and anxiety.Correlation analysis showed that psychological well-being and career decision-making self-efficacy was negatively correlated.Conclusions Measures should be taken to improve the medical students' career decision-making self-efficacy according to their psychological characteristics and to improve the medical students' psychological status by the improvement of career decision-making self-efficacy.

Objective To investigate telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT ) and acticator protein 1(AP -1) expression and it's corroloation in laryngeal carcinoma tissue .Methods 24 human laryngeal carcinoma tissue were analised by RT -PCR and quantum -dot based immunofluorescence assay for the expression of TERT and AP -1 . Results The expression of TERT mRNA and the expression of c -Fos ,c-Jun in laryngeal carcinoma were postive‐ly related .Correlation coefficient was 0 .574 and 0 .809 ,respectivly(P<0 .01) .Conclusion TERT and AP -1 were expressed at high levels and positively correlated in human laryngeal carcinoma .

Objective To explore whether Helq deletion affect the pluripotency of stem cells. Methods Helq knockout embryonic stem cells were obtained by CRISPR?Cas9 gene editing technique. Results The results of immunoflu?orescence analysis showed that the expression of Oct4 and Nanog had no obvious difference to that of the control cells. The Helq-/ - embryonic stem cells could produce viable pups by tetraploid complementation, indicating that their pluripotency was not affected. Meanwhile, we found that day 2 epiblast?like cells also were obtained through differentiation of the Helq-/ - embryonic stem cells in vitro. Immunostaining and real?time PCR analysis showed that the gene expression of Helq-/ - epiblast cells were similar to the wild type cells. Conclusions Taken together, it is proved that the genomic in?stability caused by Helq deletion does not affect the pluripotency of pluripotent stem cells.

Objective To evaluate the vaccine effectiveness ( VE) in children who received one dose of live attenuated varicella vaccine. Methods A questionnaire-based 1 ∶ 2 matching case-control study was conducted during May, 2015 to April, 2016 to evaluate the VE based upon the demographic data, vacci-nation status and clinical symptoms of 127 children with varicella and 254 healthy subjects under 12 years old. Results Compared with the healthy subjects, 83. 46% of the patients with varicella were immunized with one dose of varicella vaccine, which was lower than that of the control group (90. 55%) (χ2=4. 08, P<0. 05). The overall protective rate of one dose of varicella vaccine reached 64. 29% (95% CI:42. 00%-78. 00%). Of the 127 cases of varicella, 83. 46% were breakthrough cases immunized with one dose of var-icella vaccine. Primary cases presented more severe clinical symptoms than breakthrough cases. The longer the interval between vaccination and varicella-zoster virus infection was, the more severe the breakthrough cases would be. Conclusion Varicella vaccine is effective for preventing varicella, but the VE of one dose of varicella vaccine is limited. A two-dose varicella vaccination strategy should be proposed in our country as soon as possible.

AIM: To investigate the injuring effect of DMSO-soluble particles from cigarette smoke(DSP) on human umbilical vein endothelial cells. METHODS: Human umbilical vein endothelial cell line EA. hy 926 was used as target cells in the study. The growth and viability of the cells treated with various dosages (1, 2, 4 or 4 mL/L) of DSP and low dose (2 mL/L) of DSP at different time points were evaluated by MTT colorimetric assay and celllular protein assay in 96-well plates. Transmission electron microscopy study was carried out to observe the ultrastructure of human umbilical vein endothelial cells under DSP treatment.RESULTS: DSP inhibited the proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cell line EA. hy 926. Under DSP treatment, the reducing cellular protein and increasing cell death(mainly necrosis) were observed in time-dependent and dosage-dependent manners.CONCLUSIONS: These results indicated that the toxic effect of DSP caused functional disturbance and structural damage of human endothelial cells.
