1.Research on status and application prospects of sonodynamic therapy with intermediate frequency low-intensity ultrasound used to treat endometrial disease
China Medical Equipment 2015;(11):75-77
Sonodynamic therapy in many treatment methods of tumors, is a relatively new approach. Sonodynamic therapy as a treatment method is developed on the basis of photodynamic therapy. Compared to the lightwave, the ability to penetrate mammalian tissue of ultrasound is stronger. So sonodynamic therapy is a more promising therapeutic area. Many scholars have explored the clinical applications of sonodynamic therapy, and progress has been made in many areas. Because the female genitalia is connected the outside of body, it is more conducive that Sonodynamic therapy play a partial role. Sonodynamic therapy has some progress in the application of gynecology, and we hope it would have more progress in the treatment of endometrial disease.

Objective:To reveal the dynamic characteristics of the intracellular complement mRNA from mouse macrophage ANA-1 treated with LPS or IL-4. Methods:The polarization models of macrophage ANA-1 were established by treating with LPS(1μg/ml) and IL-4(20 ng/ml),respectively. After treating at 3,8,12 and 24 h,the total RNA were abstracted by Trizol lysis methods . The macrophage polarization were estimated by the expression of IL-1β, CCL2 and Arg-1 mRNA detected by Real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR. The intracellular complement C1q, C3, CfB and CRIg mRNA were quantitatively analyzed. Results: The mouse macrophage ANA-1 cells treated with LPS was polarized to M1 since the levels of IL-1β and CCL2 mRNA were up-regulated significantly,in which their 2-△△Ct value were up to 297. 0±31. 0 and 19. 9±3. 3 respectively at 12 h. On the other hand, the ANA-1 cells treated with IL-4 was polarized to M2 because the level of Arg-1 mRNA was obviously higher( the 2-△△Ct value of Arg-1 mRNA was up to 27.3±9.1 at 24 h)(P<0.05).The intracellular complement C1q,C3,CfB and CRIg mRNAs all were up-regulated in different polarized macrophages. The intracellular C1q and C3 mRNA in polarized M2 were significantly higher,in which the peak value of C1q and C3 were to 94. 9±12. 9 and 11. 3±2. 4 at 12 h,respectively(P<0. 05). Reversely, the CfB mRNA in polarized M1 increased obviously,in which its 2-△△Ct was to 61. 4±6. 2 at 12 h. In addition, the CRIg mRNA in both groups was only up-regulated at 24 h,in which the 2-△△Ct value was 6. 5±1. 8 in M1 and 10. 8±3. 2 in M2(P<0. 05). Conclusion: The macrophage ANA-1 cell polarization models were successfully established by treated with LPS or IL-4. The intracellular complement C1q,C3 and CRIg mRNA in polarized M2 were transcripted more than in M1. But the intracellular CfB mRNA in polarized M1 was up-regulated significantly. These results suggested that the dynamic characteristic of complement components in different polarized macrophage would be correlated with its fun-tions.

Objective To determine the relationship between serum soluble Klotho (sKL) level and adverse outcome in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients. Methods One hundred and twenty nine cases of MHD patients were collected prospectively.Serum sKL was detected by ELISA.Abdomen lateral plain was used as a criterion to determine the abdominal aortic calcification. The abdominal aortic calcification score (AAC) was calculated.Cox regression analysis was used to determine the risk factor of cardiovascular death (CVD) in MHD patients.Kaplan-Meier showed the relationship between sKL and CVD in MHD patients. Results There were 27 cases (20.9%) of allcause death and 19 cases (14.7%) of cardiovascular death. The median sKL was 612.6(379.2-816.6) nig/L,and log[iPTH] was an independent factor of sKL concentration.Low sKL had high AAC and CVD death rate.Kaplan-Meier method showed that the all-cause death rate was similar between two groups, and CVD death rate increased significantly in low sKL patients (P=0.036).Cox regression indicated that lower sKL level was associated with high CVD death rate [OR=0.352,95%CI(0.127-0.977),P=0.045].After adjustment for the general condition, biochemical indicators, the relationship still existed [OR=0.331,95% CI (0.117-0.933),P=0.037].In no or mild vascular calcification patients (AAC ≤4),compared with high sKL patients, low sKL patients had no significant difference rate in all-cause mortality. The CVD mortality was significantly higher in high sKL (P=0.035) compared with low sKL.In severe calcification group (AAC > 4),all-cause death and CVD death rates were similar between different sKL groups (P=0.991 and 0.522,respectively).Conclusions Lower sKL has the high CVD death rate and sKL level decreasing is an independent risk factor for CVD death in MHD patients. The lower sKL concentration in MHD patients with no or mild calcification may predict CVD mortality. This study suggests that sKL levels may be helpful in predicting the outcome of patients with MHD.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2019;35(1):81-86
Objective: To study the effect of different wetness degrees in the root canal on the canal sealing. Methods: 160 root canal prepared single rooted teeth were divided into 4 groups (n = 40) by the root canal wetness degree (water content, V): (1) 0. 250 ~0. 299, (2) 0. 300 ~ 0. 599, (3) 0. 600 ~ 0. 899 and (4) 0. 900 ~ 1. 199 respectively. 80 teeth were divided into 4 groups (n = 20) for dye leakage test and another 80 for bacterial microleakage test. Zinc oxide paste (ZOP) and AH-Plus (AH-P) with vertical condensation of warm gutta-percha were respectively used to seal the canals in each group of the samples (n = 10) . The length of in vitro tooth dye penetration was measured by stereomicroscope; the time (days) of turbidity in the bacterial leakage model observed and compared. Results: Of all the canals sealed by ZOP or AH-P with the increase of the wetness the dye infiltration length increased significantly (P <0. 05) and the days in which the faecal intestine ball infiltrated into the lower chamber of the model was gradually decreased (P <0. 05) . Conclusion: The increase of root canal moisture may reduce the sealing of the root canal.

Objective To explore the association of fibroblast growth factor-23 (FGF23) with abdominal aortic calcification(AAC) and adverse outcomes in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods One hundred and fourteen cases of MHD patients were collected prospectively.Serum intact FGF23 was detected by ELISA.Abdomen lateral plain was used as a criteria to determine the abdominal aortic calcification and the abdominal aortic calcification score was counted.Logistic regression analysis was used to determine the risk factors of AAC.Kaplan-Meier analysis was applied to compare the survival rate among different groups and COX regression analysis was used to determine the association of FGF23 and mortality in MHD patients. Results Seventy-six patients present abdominal aortic calcification. The median of AACS was 4.0(0.0,11.0).The median level of FGF23 was 7277.4(2535.0,9990.8) pg/ml.The median follow-up duration was 72.0(67.8,72.8) months.During the follow-up,22 patients (19.3%) died of all-cause death and 17 cases (14.9%) died of cardiovascular diseases.Serum FGF23 level was positively correlated with AAC (r=0.285,P=0.002).Logistic regression analysis showed that longer age (OR=1.059,95%CI:1.020-1.100,P=0.003) and dialysis vintage (OR=I.009,95%CI 1.000-1.017,P=0.039),smoking history (OR=3.010,95%CI 1.177-7.696,P=0.021) and higher FGF23 level(OR=2.831,95%CI 1.010-7.937,P=0.048) were independent risk factors of moderate to severe AAC in MHD patients.Kaplan-Meier survival curves showed that the patients with AACS≥ 5 had significantly higher all-cause mortality(P=0.028) and CVD mortality (P=0.035) than those with AACS < 5.However,the Kaplan-Meier analysis showed no significant difference regarding the level of serum FGF23 with the all-cause and CVD mortality.Cox regression demonstrated that FGF23 was not associated with increased mortality risk, neither in crude nor in multivariate adjusted models. Conclusions Abdominal aortic calcification had a high prevalence in MHD patients. The all-cause and CVD mortality was higher in patients with moderate to severe AAC.FGF23 was an independent risk factor of moderate to severe AAC,but it can't yet be a predictor for the allcause and CVD mortality of MHD patients.

Objective:To understand the epidemic situation of HIV/AIDS and its change trend in the Belt and Road countries and provide evidence for the improvement of prevention and control of the cross-border transmission of HIV/AIDS.Methods:The 145 countries that have signed the cooperation document of the Belt and Road initiative with China were selected in our study. Age-standardized incidence rate and prevalence rate of HIV/AIDS in the 145 countries from 2013 to 2019 were downloaded from the Global Burden of Disease Study 2019. Age-standardized incidence rate and prevalence rate of HIV/AIDS in 2019 were used to describe the HIV/AIDS epidemics in 145 countries, and the estimated annual percentage change (EAPC) of incidence was calculated to analyze the trend of HIV/AIDS incidence from 2013 to 2019.Results:In 2019, Africa had the highest proportion of countries with HIV/AIDS incidence exceeding 40.00 per 100 000 (56.86%, 29/51), and Asia had the lowest proportion (5.41%, 2/37). The countries with the prevalence rate of HIV/AIDS exceeding 100.00 per 10 000 were almost distributed in Africa, accounting for 20.69% (30/145). From 2013 to 2019, the incidence rate of HIV/AIDS increased in 50 countries, accounting for 34.48% (50/145). The incidence rate of HIV/AIDS showed downward trends in 69 countries (47.59%, 69/145), and showed no significant change in 26 countries (17.93%, 26/145). The most obvious increase of incidence rate of HIV/AIDS was observed in Comoros (EAPC=15.60, 95% CI: 5.84-26.26) and the most obvious decrease was observed in Burundi (EAPC=-14.27, 95% CI: -15.21 to -13.31). Conclusions:In the Belt and Road countries, the most severe disease burden of HIV/AIDS was observed in countries in Africa, and the incidences of HIV/AIDS increased rapidly in some European countries, which means the risk of cross-border transmission still exists. Hence, the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS in China should be further strengthened in the future.

Objective:To analyze the epidemic situation of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis in 2019 and the incidence trends from 2013 to 2019 in the Belt and Road countries. Methods:The 145 countries that have signed cooperation documents of the Belt and Road Initiative with China were selected. Age-standardized incidence and prevalence rate of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis from the Global Burden of Disease Study were used to describe the epidemic situation of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis in 2019. The annual percentage changes of the age-standardized incidence rate were calculated to assess incidence trends of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis from 2013 to 2019.Results:In 2019, of the 145 countries, Somalia had the highest incidence rate (30.42 per 100 000) and prevalence rate (48.86 per 100 000) of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis, while Slovenia had the lowest incidence rate (0.01 per 100 000) and prevalence rate (0.01 per 100 000). The incidence trends of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis in six continents from 2013 to 2019 were as follows: multidrug-resistant tuberculosis incidence rates showed increasing trends in 14 countries (27.45%) and decreasing trends in 22 countries (43.14%) in Africa, showed increasing trends in 2 countries (18.18%) and decreasing trends in 3 countries (27.27%) in North America and showed increasing trends in 2 countries (5.41%) and decreasing trends in 23 countries (62.16%) in Asia. The increasing trends were observed in Europe, Oceania, and South America, but it was found that 26 countries (96.30%) in Europe, 2 countries (18.18%) in Oceania, and 1 country (12.50%) in South America had decreasing trends of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis incidence rates.Conclusion:Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis is endemic in 145 Belt and Road countries with the prevalence increasing year by year in some countries in central and southern Africa and decreasing in European countries except Ukraine.
