Th22,a new subset of helper T cells, which is char-acterized by the secretion of interleukin-22(IL-22),could infil-trate to the epidermis in individuals with inflammatory skin disor-ders.This article introduces the action of Th22 and IL-22 in in-flammatory skin diseases, including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, aiming at re-vealing the role of Th22 and IL-22 in these diseases, which would not only provide some novel targets of drugs for inflamma-tory skin diseases, but also promote the researches on the pre-vention and treatment of these diseases.

Objective:To investigate the potential prognostic value of cyclin D1 expression in patients with locally advanced oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and its relationship with taxol (Docetaxel)/cisplatin plus 5-fluorouracil (TPF) induction chemothera-py. Methods:A total of 256 patients with locally advanced OSCC were selected from Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital of Shanghai Ji-ao Tong University School of Medicine between March 2008 and December 2010 as the objects of study in this prospective randomized clinical trial. The effect of TPF induction chemotherapy was investigated. Immunohistochemical staining against cyclin D1 was per-formed in the pretreatment biopsy specimen of the patients. The relationship between cyclin D1 expression and prognostic data of the TPF induction arm and control arm was analyzed. Results:Cyclin D1 expression was detected in 232 out of the 256 patients. Patients with low cyclin D1 expression showed significantly better overall survival (OS) (P=0.001), disease-free survival (DFS) (P=0.003), lo-coregional recurrence-free survival (LRFS) (P=0.004), and distant metastasis-free survival (DMFS) (P=0.001) than those with high cy-clin D1 expression. No significant differences existed in OS, DFS, LRFS, or DMFS between the patients with TPF induction chemother-apy and the control. Cyclin D1 expression levels were not predictive of the benefit from TPF induction chemotherapy in the overall pop-ulation. However, patients with nodal stage cN2 and high cyclin D1 expression, who were undergoing TPF chemotherapeutic regimen, showed significantly higher OS (P=0.024) and DMFS (P=0.024) than cN2 patients with high cyclin D1 expression but undergoing stan-dard surgical treatment. Conclusion:Cyclin D1 can be used as a prognostic biomarker for patients with locally advanced OSCC. Fur-thermore, cN2 OSCC patients with high cyclin D1 expression can receive long-term benefit from the addition of TPF induction chemo-therapy to standard surgical treatment.

The polar tube protein is the major component of polar tube, and can specifically locate on the polar tube of microsporidia and plays an important role in invasion host cell. In this study, we analyzed the potential O- and Nglycosylation sites in polar tube protein 1 from Nosema bombycis. NbPTP1 was successfully cloned to eukaryotic expression vector pMT/Bip/V5-His A, involved V5 and His tags. After transfection, NbPTP1 gene could be efficiently expressed in Drosophila S2 cells. In addition, Lectin blotting and beta elimination analysis showed that NbPTP1 expressed in Drosophila S2 cells was O-glycosylation. These studies provided a basis for understanding the relationship between glycosylation and function of NbPTP1, helped us to reveal the infection mechanism of microsporidia and established effective diagnosis and prevention methods for microsporidia.

【Objective】 To investigate the influencing factors of surgically induced astigmatism (SIA) in phacoemulsification. 【Methods】 Cataract phacoemulsification was performed in 69 patients with regular corneal astigmatism from December 2021 to March 2022. SIA of the anterior corneal surface, posterior corneal surface and simulated keratometry (SimK) in the diameter range of 3 mm, 5 mm and 7 mm centered at the apex of the cornea was observed. Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze SIA with age, axial length (AL), anterior chamber depth (ACD), white-to-white (WTW), and central corneal thickness (CCT). Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of SIA. 【Results】 The mean age of the 69 patients was (63.25±14.74) years old, and 28 (40.58%) were male. The analysis found that the |SIA| of SimK was negatively correlated with WTW (r=-0.265, P=0.028), the |SIA| of 3 mm, 5 mm, 7 mm anterior surface was negatively correlated with WTW (r=-0.320, P=0.007; r=-0.337, P=0.005; r=-0.287, P=0.017), and the |SIA| of 3 mm, 5 mm, 7 mm posterior surface was negatively correlated with AL (r=-0.390, P=0.001; r=-0.352, P=0.003; r=-0.317, P=0.008). Multiple regression analysis showed that WTW was negatively correlated with |SIA| of SimK, 3 mm, 5 mm, 7 mm anterior surface and 3 mm posterior surface (B=-0.261, P=0.047; B=-0.387, P=0.016; B=-0.323, P=0.009; B=-0.297, P=0.041; B=-0.085, P=0.049). WTW was positively correlated with X
