Objective To study the effect of ovarian estrogen on the expression of estrogen receptor beta (ER beta) of the basal forebrain of mice. Methods Ovariectomized (OVX) mice were used as animal model, and nickel ammonium sulfate intensified immunohistochemical SP technique was used to detect the changes of ER beta expression in the basal forebrain. Results The expression of ER beta in the basal forebrain of mice decreased dramatically, after OVX decreased to the lowest levels at 3 d after OVX, increased gradually, and recovered to normal level 20 d later. Conclusion Ovarain estrogen can regulate the expression of ER ? of the murine basal forebrain, indicating that estrogen, via ER ?, can regulate the nerous structure and function of the basal forebrain, which may be the mechanism of estrogen replacement therapy on Alzheimer′s brain.

Objective To explore the pathological changes of lung, expression of the relevant inflammatory factors and oxidative stress markers of Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats undergoing autologous orthotopic liver transplantation (AOLT). Methods Thirty SD rats were randomized into sham group and AOLT group. The pathological changes of lung, expression of the relevant inflammatory mediators and oxidative stress markers were detected . Results ( 1 ) Compared with the sham group , the pathological scores of lung tissue in AOLT group increased significantly and reached its peak at 8 h after surgery. Then the pathological scores decreased to the level of sham within 24 h to 48 h after surgery; (2)The relative expression of inflammatory mediators including TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6 and IL-8 increased significantly and reached its peak at 8 h after surgery in AOLT group. Then decreased to the level of sham group within 24 h to 48 h after surgery; (3)The change trends of MDA and H2O2 were similar to inflammatory mediators.The relative SOD expression decreased significantly and touched the nadir at 8h after surgery and then increased. Conclusion The pathological changes of lung expression, the relevant inflammatory mediators and oxidative stress markers of rats underwent AOLT were consistent.

OBJECTIVE:To discuss clinical efficacy and safety of leuprolide acetate in the treatment of endometriosis. METH-ODS:66 endometriosis patients were divided into observation group(37 cases)and control group(29 cases)according to random number table method. Observation group was treated with Leuprolide acetate microsphere for injection,3.75 mg/time,on the upper arm,abdomen or buttocks since the first-fifth day of menstrual cycle(administration time was available at hysterectomized patients disposal),and then every 4 weeks;one administration was recognized as a treatment course. Control group was treated with Ethi-nyl estradiol cyproterone tablet orally,1 tablets per day for 3 weeks,one week drug withdrawal,as a treatment course. 2 groups were given 3-5 courses of treatment according to their tolerance or the improvement of clinical symptoms. The improvement of clini-cal symptoms were compared between 2 groups,and the levels of FSH,LH and E2 were compared before and after treatment;the occurrence of ADR and the time of the return of menses were recorded. RESULTS:2 patients in observation group and 1 patient in control group withdrew from the test. After treatment,total effective rate was 97.14% in observation group,which was significant-ly higher than 75.00% in control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). Before treatment,there was no statistical signifi-cance in the levels of FSH,LH and E2 between 2 groups (P>0.05). After treatment,the levels of FSH,LH and E2 were de-creased significantly,and the observation group was more significant than the control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). Total incidence of ADR was 20.00% in observation group,compared to control group (21.42%),there was no statistical significance (P>0.05). The time of the return of menses in observation group was (89.75 ± 3.34) d after drug withdrawal,com-pared to control group [(88.46±2.94)d],there was no statistical significance(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Leuprolide acetate can effectively improve clinical symptoms of patients with endometriosis,and reduce the levels of FSH,LH and E2 with slight ADR, and it doesn’t influence the time of the return of menses.

The survey of the soluble IL-2 receptor (sIL-2R) level in the sera and the membrane IL-2 receptor (mIL-2R) expression on the peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from 47 cases of late schistosomiasis japonica was reported. Objective: To explore the mechanism of high incidence of cardiovascular diseases and the levels of plasma lipids and oxidized lowdensity lipoprotein(Ox-LDL) in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods: Fifty-five patients with RA(24 case of active type,31 non-active) and 60 healthy controls were randomly chosen.Plasma lipids and Ox-LDL levels were studied.All the data were subjected to statistical analysis.Results: Compared with the control,total cholesterol(TC),LDL cholesterol(LDL-C) and apolipoprotein B(apoB) levels were increased in patients with active RA,while TC,triglyceride(TG),LDL-C,apoAⅠ,B and Ox-LDL levels were elevated in those with non-active RA.Furthermore,plasma lipids and Ox-LDL level decreased in the active patients as compared with the non-active ones,while only the change of apoAⅠhad statistical significance.The erythrocyte sedimentation rate was found negatively related with TC,LDL-C,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) and apoAⅠ,while C-reacting protein was found negatively related with LDL-C and HDL-C.Conclusion: Ox-LDL and plasma lipid levels were changed in RA patients.Inflammation may induce changes of lipoprotein and play an important role in atherosclerosis.

Objective In order to investigate the role of Gap Junction (GJ) in the generation and development of epilepsy,we examined the expression of connexin43 (Cx43)and Cx32 in the epileptogenic lesions and surrounding brain tissues of the patients with refractory temporal epilepsy.Methods Thirty intractable epilepsy patients were performed the resection of epileptogenic lesions under the ECC monitor.The expression of Cx43 and Cx32 in the epileptogenic lesions and the surrounding brain tissues of the patients were examined by immunohistochemical staining(the two step method).The data were statistically analyzed.Results The results from the immunohistochemistry staining showed that Cx43 and Cx32 were expressed in the epileptogenic lesions and the surrounding brain tissues.The expression of Cx43 in the epileptogenic lesions was increased obviously in comparison with the surrounding brain tissues ( U =4.066,P ＜ 0.001 ).There was no significant difference in the expression of Cx32 between the epileptogenic lesions and the surrounding brain tissues ( U =1.866,P ＞ 0.05 )Conclusion The expression of Cx43 in the epileptogenic focus is increased in comparison with that in the surrounding brain tissues,indicating that GJ plays an important role in the generation and development of epilepsy.There is no significant difference in the expression of Cx32 between the epileptogenic lesions and the surrounding brain tissues,which may be related to the apoptosis of the neurons after multiple seizure attacks.

Objective To explore the expression and significance of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (Stat 3), glucose transporter protein 1 (GluT-1) and proliferation cell nuclear antigen (PC NA) in lesions of condylomata acuminata (CA). Methods SP immunohistochemistry method was used to measure the expression of Stat 3, GluT-1 and PCNA in tissue samples from 40 cases of CA and 20 normal skin controls. Results The positivity rates of Stat 3, GluT-1 and PCNA were 85.0% (34/40), 87.5% (35/40) and 85.0%(34/40), respectively in CA tissue, 35.0% (7/20), 30.0% (6/20)and 55.0% (11/20),respectively in the control tissue; statistical difference was observed in these rates between the two groups (all P ＜ 0.05). The expression intensity of Stat 3, GluT-1 and PCNA was also higher in CA tissue than that in the controls. In addition, the expression intensity of PCNA was correlated with that of Stat 3 and GluT-1in CA tissue (both P＜ 0.05). Conclusions There is an overexpression of Star 3, GluT-1 and PCNA in CA tissue, and the overexpression of Stat 3 and GluT-1 may be associated with the over-proliferation of CA tissue.

Objective To have a research on the improvement of visual field of advanced primary glaucoma with tubular visual field after the surgery.Methods Twenty-six patients in the hospital during Nov.2010-Dec.2011 were treated with the compound trabeculectomy.Have a comparison between the preoperative period and postoperative period about the visual field index,visual acuity,intra-ocular tension,bleb After 6-18 mouths following-up,have a summary on the complication rate.Results The visual field index,visual acuity,intra-ocular tension,bleb in the postoperative period were much better than that in the preoperative period.There were no serious complications after the surgery.Conclusion To use the compound trabeculectomy to treat the advanced primary glaucoma with tubular visual field patients is worthy to be promoted and applicated in clinical practice.This method is full of safety and availability.

To improve the knowledge of students and strengthen the teaching effects of internal medicine teaching,the characters,teaching methods and notices of clinical guideline were analysed. Moreover,according to previous teaching experiences,a few unique opinions on it were put forward. The results showed that clinical guideline was one of the most important ways in internal medicine teaching.
