2.Analysis of the antibiotic resistance of clinically isolated Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(10):-
70%). Imipenem was of the strongest activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa with the susceptibility of 86.3% but cefetaxime and ceftriaxone were of the weakest with the susceptibility of 6.8% and 11.0%, respectively. Conclusion The clinically isolated drug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains are increasing year by year. Therefore, clinical doctors should choose antibiotics rationally in dealing with the P. aeruginosa infected patients according to drug resistance test.

Objective: To explore the symptomatology of cluster-B personality disorders from perspective of the Five-Factor Model (FFM).Methods:PDQ +4 was administered to college students and minor criminals to screen cluster-B subjects, Cluster-B patients were then diagnosed by conducting interview using PDI-IV.FFM of the subjects are measured with NEO-PI-R.Results:Cluster-B patients scored higher in Neuroticism(62.0?10.6), and lower in, Agreeableness(38.4?11.5) and Conscientiousness (38.4?11.2)than normal adult.Extraversion(45.9?11.5)and Openness to Experience(45.0?9.3)are near the lower limits.Bivariate analysis between PDI-Ⅳ and NEO-PI-R showed that APD negatively correlated with Agreeableness (r=-0.25,P

OBJECTIVE To develop new 2?5 type of piezoelectric immunoglobulin microarray immunosensor for determination of immunoglobulin. The energy converters are 10MHz AT-cut quartz crystals with gold-coated(electrodes).The monoclonal antibodies of immunoglobulin are immobilized onto the surfaces of crystals gold(electrodes) by staphylococcal protein A(SPA).METHODS The standard substance and serum were detected to find the detection time, temperature and specificity of the immunosensor.RESULTS The piezoelectric quartz(crystal) immunoglobulin microarray immunosensor could complete the detection in 15 min without nonspecific(response).Under the optimized conditions, the experimental results showed that the piezoelectric immunosensor had good(response) to immunoglobulin whose frequency shifts were linearly dependent on immunoglobulin (concentration) in different range. The piezoelectric microarray immunosensor had been used to detect(immunoglobulin) in serum, the analytical results given by this method were in satisfactory agreement with those given by traditional (immunoassay),with correlation coefficient of 0.94,0.94,0.94,0.92 and 0.91.(CONCLUSIONS) Piezoelectric microarray immunosensor for the determination of immunoglobulin is of high(sensitivity),high specificity, high analysis speed, unnecessary labelling, simple operation,real-time detection,(repeated) use, etc. It is suitable for (detecting) of immunoglobulin and should be used for clinical detection.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2005;0(12):-
Objective To evaluate the role of transanal ileus tube decompression in the management of malignant obstruction of left-sided colon. Methods With the help of colonoscopy and radiography, 11 cases of left-sided malignant colonic obstruction were treated with transanal ileus tube insertion into the proximal obstruction site for the decompression of the dilated bowel. Curative effects were evaluated according to patient’s symptom relief, bowel sounds, abdominal circumference, intra-abdominal pressure, and plain abdominal radiography. Results Symptoms of acute intestinal obstruction were relieved in all the 11 cases after ileus tube decompression for 3~5 days. Laparoscopic or open primary colectomy was performed in 7 patients with resectable tumor. Postoperative follow-up observations for 1~18 months (median, 11 months) showed no complications like anastomotic leakage. Conclusions Transanal ileus tube decompression in the management of malignant obstruction of left-sided colon is safe and effective.

Objective To evaluate the safety of laparoscopic resection for giant abdominal benign mass. Methods Six cases of giant abdominal benign mass(8~25 in diameter)underwent laparoscopic exploration and resection under general anesthesia from July 2005 to March 2006.Results The laparoscopic resection was accomplished in all the 6 cases. The operation time was 75~220 min(mean,135 min),the intraoperative hemorrhage volume was 20~100 ml(mean,55 ml),the duration for abdominal drainage was 1~3 d(mean,2 d),and the postoperative hospital stay,2~7 d(mean,4.3 d).There was no complications such as intestinal injury, postoperative bleeding,or abdominal infection.Follow-up visits for 1~9 months(mean,6.5 months)found no recurrence. Conclusions Laparoscopic resection of giant abdominal benign mass is a feasible and safe minimally invasive technique.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE To explore the changes in foot fungus mobility and its drug resistance for further etiology investigation and clinical treatment. METHODS Sabourand′s agar culture medium was used to culture fungi, ID identification strip was employed to identify the fungi and drug sensitive test was performed by disk diffusion test. RESULTS The incidence of Trichophyton rubrum infection was the highest (79.1%). The isolated fungi were relatively sensitive to amphotericin B (AMB, 98.9%) and itraconazole (ITC, 98.0%), and resistant to 5-fluorocytosine (5-FC, 22.1%). CONCLUSIONS Detection technique of fungal infection should be improved and anti-fungal medicine should be used reasonably according to the results of drug sensitive test so that the fungal infection, especially fungi-resistant infection could be reduced.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE A new piezoelectric aptamer biosensor is developed for determination of IgE. The energy converters are 10MHz AT-cut quartz crystals with gold-coated electrodes. The anti-IgE aptamers are immobilized onto the surfaces of crystals gold electrodes by biotin-avidin method. METHODS The standard substance and serum were detected to find the limit of detection and specificity of the biosensor. RESULTS The piezoelectric immunoglobulin aptamer biosensor could complete the detection without nonspecific response. Under the optimized conditions, the experimental results showed that the piezoelectric biosensor had good response to IgE whose frequency shifts were linearly dependent on IgE concentration in different range. The piezoelectric aptamer biosensor had been used to detect IgE in serum, the analytical results given by this method were in satisfactory agreement with those given by chemoluminescence method, its correlation coefficient was 0.9924. CONCLUSIONS Piezoelectric aptamer biosensor for the determination of IgE is of high sensitivity, high specificity, high analysis speed, unnecessary labeling, simple operation, real-time detection, etc. It is suitable for detection of IgE and should be used for clinical detection.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the methylation status and mRNA expression of the estrogen receptors(ERs) gene promoter in acute leukemic patients and detect the protein expression in leukemia cell lines with or without treatment of 5'-aza-Dc.And to find out the possibility of promoters methylation profile of estrogen receptor gene as an early diagnosis biomarker in leukemia.METHODS With RT-PCR and MSP,evaluating ERs mRNA expression and status of methylation in 40 acute leukemia patients without treatment. With Western-blot,detecting protein expression in leukemic cell lines with or without treatment of 5-azaDc.RESULTS The protein expression was significantly enhanced in all of leukemic cell lines with 5'-Aza-Dc.ER?-A was inactivated and specifically methylated(97.5%;39/40) in most of the acute leukemic patients.CONCLUSIONS The promoter ER?-A is inactivated and specifically methylated(97.5%;39/40) in most of the acute leukemic patients. This study may provide a new direction method to study the pathogenic mechanism of leukemia, and indicates that ER?-A methylation could be a potential reference marker for leukemia diagnosis.
