Chinese herbal pieces are a key factor to protecting the quality of the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and it is one of the basic elements of ensuring the quality of TCM and people's usage safety. However, Chinese herbal pieces has massive problem such as adulteration and counterfeit, dyeing and weighting, pesticide residues, heavy metals in excess of the standards, and all the issues are repeated excessive in the clinic treatment. These issues impacted sound development of production, management and use of TCM, but also brings common people hidden trouble for the clinical safety of medication. Protect and improve the quality of the Chinese herbal pieces demand that continue improve quality system, in-depth scientific research, and strengthen self-discipline and other factors. So it is fundamentally to ensure good quality of Chinese herbal pieces with the color, taste and shape by systematic supervision to it from the source, production, management and research, with strengthened implementation and en- forcement of the "3G".

China Oncology 2016;26(8):675-681
Background and purpose:Visceral pleural invasion (VPI) and vessel invasion (VI) are poor prognostic factors in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The primary initial recurrence site may be local recurrence in VPI and distant metastasis in VI. The purpose of this study was to validate the prognostic impact and effect of the initial recurrence site of VPI and VI on survival outcomes for NSCLC.Methods:Two hundred and ninety patients who were diagnosed as having NSCLC and underwent lobectomy between Jan. 2007 and Dec. 2013 were retrospectively analyzed. VPI was identiifed in 51 patients as VPI group, the other 239 patients without VPI as non-VPI group. VI was identiifed in 29 patients as VI group, the other 261 patients without VI as non-VI group. Clinical characteristics, overall survival (OS), disease-free survival (DFS) were compared. Results:There were statistically signiifcant differences between VPI group and non-VPI group in tumor size, lymph node metastasis, TNM stage and initial recurrence site (P<0.05). Furthermore, there were statistically signiifcant differences between VI group and non-VI group in lymph node metastasis and TNM stage (P<0.05). The 1-, 3- and 5-year OS rates in VPI group (88.2%, 56.7% and 52.7%) were lower than those in non-VPI group (95.8%, 83.7% and 74.0%,P<0.001). The 1-, 3- and 5-year OS rates in VI group (79.3%, 56.8% and 48.7%) were lower than those in non-VI group (96.1%, 81.3% and
72.3%,P=0.001). Cox regression showed TNM stage was a significant prognostic factor for DFS, whereas lymph node metastasis and VPI were signiifcant prognostic factors in patients with NSCLC.Conclusion:The primary initial recurrence site in VPI patients is local recurrence. Patients with VPI or VI may need more postoperative therapy because of their poor prognosis.

Chinese Medical Ethics 1995;0(04):-
The assisted reproductive techniques in China have witnessed rapid development in the past two decades. However,it also brings up issues of ethics and laws, especially the urgent regulation and reinforcement of the procedure of informed consent. This article begins with an explanation of the procedure of informed consent. Then it discusses the decision of the content, major and difficult points of informed consent in assisted reproductive technology services based on the practice in this field. Finally,it discusses the challenges to informed consent. To well enforce an informed consent process,we should first ensure the contents are reasonable and just;second, clinicians should have a scientific understanding of the importance of informed consent and establish normative procedure of informed consent;third,we must work according to relative ethic demands.Last but not least, respecting patients is the key to the principle of ethics.

Objective To determine the minimum alveolar concentration for endotracheal intu-bation (MACEI )of sevoflurane for curbing the responses to endotracheal intubation in 50% premature infants less than 37 weeks of corrected age. Methods Twenty-seven ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ premature infants less than 37 weeks of corrected age were enrolled in this study. At first, the anesthesia induction was started by inhaling 6% sevoflurane. After the patient lost consciousness, the end tidal sevoflurane concentration (CET Sev)was adjusted to the target concentration and maintained stable for 1 5 min.En-dotracheal tube was then intubated. The up-and-down sequential method was used to calculate the MAC.The initial CET Sev was 3.0% and it was increased or decreased by 0.2% in the next patient ac-cording to the endotracheal intubation response. If the intubation response was positive, the CET Sev was increased;if the intubation response was negative, the CET Sev was decreased. The midpoint from negative response to positive response was set as a balance point and the mean value of the concentra-tions of sevoflurane at all the balance points were calculated as MACEI .Results The end tidal sevoflurane concentration for blunting the responses to endotracheal intubation in 50% premature in-fants was 2.55%±0.20%,and the MAC9 5 was 2.81% (95% confidence interval 2.67%-3.58%). Conclusion The MACEI of sevoflurane for curbing the responses to endotracheal intubation in 50%premature infants less than 37 weeks of corrected age is 2.55%,which is lower than that in the full-term children.
