Cancer Research and Clinic 2010;22(z1):11-13
Objective To detect the expression of osteopontin (OPN) in cervical local tissues of patients with chronic cervicitis, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), cervical cancer. To investigate the possibility that OPN is used as tumor marker of cervical cancer. Methods The expression of OPN in 25 cases of chronic cervicitis, 18 cases of CIN and 21 cases of cervical cancer was detected by immuohistochemistry SP method. Results The positive expression rates of OPN in the chronic cervicitis, CIN and the cervical cancer had a rising trend (48 %, 77.78 % and 80.95 %, respectively) and their differences had statistical significant (P <0.05). The OPN expression level in cervical cancer had no statistical correlation with age, tumor size, clinical stage and other clinical pathological features (P >0.05). Although OPN expression level in cervical cancer wasn' t related with tumor clinical stage, positive expression rates of OPN had a gradually increased trend along with the clinical stage. Conclusion High expression of OPN is found in cervical cancer and may be related to the occurrence and development of cervical cancer.

To search the effective health education to the hypertension patients and to decrease complication such as cerebrovascular ailment,106 hypertension patients were divided into two groups randomly:the interference (52) and the control (54).The interference group is treated with health education and health promotion constantly (Base line:1996,end line 1999).The results of 2 times investigations at the base line and end line respectively to the groups show that:the KAB in both groups were improved, and the interference improved notably, especially in behavior. The percentage of the patients who care about danger factors and hygeine knowledge rise from 68% (base line) to 78.6% and the percentage of the patients who did exercise constantly rise from 58.9% to 71.4%.It is also showed that,in periodic measurement of blood pressure and regular administration of medicine, the interference group behaved better than the contrast (P<0.01).We can conclude that giving face to face health education and health promotion to hypertension patients is a effective way to prevent and control hypertension complications

Objective To develop a set of medical equipment positioning management system to monitor the state of the medical equipment from the distribution center. Methods The system executed marking, management, monitoring and positioning of medical equipment with wireless sensor network related technologies and traditional network infrastructures.A power sensor was designed with TI's ZigBee SoC chip CC2430F128RTC,which estimated the working state and position of medical equipment by detecting its real-time power. Results The system accorded with international standard agreements, and had no problems in signal interference and conflict. Conclusion The system contributes to real-time positioning and mastering state of medical equipment, and thus is of great significance for enhancing medical equipment management.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of centrally fixed eyeball for assessment of the depth of anesthesia in premature infants undergoing outpatient fundus examination. Methods Fifty eight premature infants undergoing examination of fundus of eyes were enrolled in this study. Their gestational age (from the first day of last menstruation period to birth) + after birth age (from birth to the day when examination of fundus of eyes was performed) = 44-64 weeks. The patients were randomly divided into 2 groups: Ⅰ group body movement (group M, n = 27) and Ⅱ group centrally fixed eyeball (group E, n = 31). Anesthesia was induced and maintained with isoflurane inhalation. The patients were breathing spontaneously. The eyelids were kept open with speculum after induction of anesthesia. The EC50 of sevoflurane concentration which could inhibit body movement or make eyeballs centrally fixed was determined by up-and-down sequential experiment. The initial isoflurane concentration was 3% in both groups. Each time the isoflurane concentration was increased/decreased by 0.5 %. 95 % confidence interval (CI) was calculated. The lowest SpO2, respiratory rate and coughing during maintenance of anesthesia were recorded. Results The EC50 of sevoflurane (95% CI) was 2.9% (2.2%-3.6%) in group M and 3.4%(2.6%-4.6%) in group E. Examination was successfully completed in all patients. No respiratory depression and coughing occurred during examination and no vomiting and coughing were observed during feeding at 1 h after recovery from anesthesia. No body movement occurred in 15 patients whose eyeballs were centrally fixed in group E. Conclusion Centrally fixed eyeball can be used as sign of appropriate depth of anesthesia for fundus examination in premature infants.

Objective To explore the effect on image quality and scanning time by changing parameters and using different scan-ning technique for the clinical application of axial FLAIR pulse sequence. Methods Seven different sets of parameters of T2-FLAIR Pulse Sequences were performed on thirty patients at a 3.0 T MR scanner.Group A was scanned with a routine sequence for refer-ence.Group B,reducing the matrix to 128.Group C,increasing the turbo factor parameter to 24.Group D,setting the contatena-tion to 1.Group E setting the Accel.factor PE to 4.Group F,using a BLADE-FLAIR sequence.Group G,using a HASTE-FLAIR sequence. The SNRs of all images were statistically analyzed by ANOVA among 7 sequences. The image quality of all images was statistically analyzed by Kruskal-Wallis test among 7 sequences. Results The SNR of seven groups of images were 54.69 ±8.12, 1 57.57±25.61,44.56±7.37,38.48 ± 9.32,44.1 9 ±8.79,45.60 ± 6.92,105.20 ± 18.25,respectively(F = 266.368,P =0.000). The scores of image quality were 3.87±0.09,2.50±0.12,3.72±0.1 6,3.10±0.10,1.88±0.10,3.92±0.07,2.08±0.10,re-spectively and the differences among groups were statistically significant(χ2 =1 93.361,P =0.000).Conclusion Suitable turto factor and BLADE technique can be the best option for FLAIR sequence in the head.HASTE-FLAIR sequence can act as the secondary op-tion for the uncooperative patients.

Objective:To investigate frequencies and polymorphism of HLA-DRB1 and DQB1 allele in the Hans of Zunyi area. Methods:Polymerase chain reaction-sequence specific primers(PCR-SSP) were used to type HLA-DRB1 and DQB1 genes of 200 unrelated healthy Han individuals in Zunyi area.Results:13 HLA-DRB1 and 7 HLA-DQB1 alleles were obtained at low resolution level in all subjects. The allele DRB1*09,DRB1*08 and DQB1*05 were showed high distributing frequencies; The allele DRB1*10 and DQB1*04 were scarcely found with low distributing frequencies.Comparied with Northern and Southern Han people,it would seem that Han people in Zunyi are more closely related to the Southern ones. The allele B*07 was scarcely found in the Southern Han with a high distributing frequency(GF=2.0%).Conclusion:HLA-DRB1 and DQB1 of Han people in Zunyi have plenty of polymorphisms. They seem to distribute in line with the Southern Han's characteristics but have their own territory feature with a high B*07 frequency.
