“Mechanical memory” approach was commonly used in the knowledge learning of traditional Chinese medicine, which makes students often feel that the knowledge is too abstract, and this method is thus ineffective. “Qihuang the way” using Unity 3D game development platform inte-grates the elements of medical knowledge of the Chinese medical history, and combines TCM theoretical knowledge learning with serious games , which can help invoke students' enthusiasm and improve learning efficiency in an entertaining way.

OBJECTIVE An understanding of the complex anatomy of the anterior skull base is crucial for the surgeon doing endoscopic surgery. The anatomic data of the olfactory sulcus and adjacent structures in Chinese patients were defined using 3-dimensional reconstruction images. The surgeon is encouraged to develop a detailed pre-operative surgical plan by utilizing these dynamic anatomical observations to avoid intracranial injury. METHODS The paranasal sinus CT scanning images of 100 adults were reconstructed for observation using EBW2.0 software and multiplanar reformation. All data obtained were in the coronal plane from the anterior point of the olfactory sulcus. The cribriform plate depth as compared to the ethmoid roof and adjacent structures, was measured bilaterally. Data obtained on adjacent structures include the vertical height of the lateral lamella of olfactory sulcus, the horizontal distance between the cribriform plate and the orbital lamella, the length of the middle turbinate, the height of the orbit, and the vertical distance between the cribriform plate and the nasal floor. RESULTS The olfactory sulcus was classified into three types: platform type (60 %), sloping type (17 %) and mixed type(23 %), as distinguished from Keros classification. In this study the vertical height of the lateral lamella of olfactory sulcus was (5.03 ± 0.17) mm (R) and (5.39 ± 0.19) mm (L) in platform type, and (2.79 ± 0.49) mm (R) and (4.72 ± 0.49) mm (L) in the mixed type. There were statistically significant differences between the right side and the left side in these two types (P＜0.01). The horizontal distance between the cribriform plate and the orbital lamella on the same side was significantly different between the platform type and the mixed type of olfactory sulcus. A similar result was observed for the vertical distance between the cribriform plate and the nasal floor. Gender differences exist in the horizontal distance between the cribriform plate and orbital lamella on the same side and the vertical distance between the cribriform plate and the nasal floor. CONCLUSION Different types of olfactory sulcus have distinct characteristics, hence care which must be taken into account when doing endoscopic surgery.

The present problems were analyzed in the education in the gynecology of traditional Chinese medicine. And then the discusion was underwent as fellowes: the reasonable allocation of teaching hours, enriching teaching methods, setting up the concept of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine, developing the another class, paying attention on teacher training and student feedback. In this way, we want to explore the effective methods to improve the quality of education in the gynecology of traditional Chinese medicine.

Objective To investigate Lovastatin's effects on proliferation and adhesion of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). Methods Culture medium with different concentration of Lovastatin(0.001、0.01、0.1、1.0、10μmol/L) was prepared, HUVECs was cultured in 96 well-plate with the different medium. AT the point of 24,72 and 120 h, the cell's activity and quantity was assessed by MTT. HUVECs was cultured with Lovastatin in 6 well-plate for 24 hours, then collected the cells by trypsin digestion. The cells were seeded in 24 well-plate with 2×104/ml and adhering for 30 mins. Then counting the adhered cells in different wells. Results At 24 h, Lovastatin (0.01、 0.1 μmol/L ) promoted proliferation of HUVECs ( P ＜ 0.05 ); at 72 h, Lovastatin ( 1.0μmol/L) was positive accelerating cell growth(P＜ 0.05 ). While Lovastatin ( 10μmol/L) inhibited the proliferation significantly ( P ＜0.05 ) at 120 h. As HUVECs was cultured with Lovastatin for 24 hours, Lovastatin (0.1、1μmol/L) inhanced the adhesion capability of HUVECs significantly( P＜ 0.05 ). Conclusion Lovastatin had biphasic effects on proliferation and adhesion of HUVECs dependent on the concentration. Lovastatin (0.1、1.0 μmol/L) could promote the proliferation and adhesion, while at higher concentration ( 10.0μmol/L) it inhibits cell proliferation and adhesion.

Plant growth retardant as one of plant growth regulator can inhibit the cell division, elongation and growth rate in shoot apical meristem (SAM), which can be reversed by gibberellin regulate the product of photosynthesis transfer to the root and rhizome part. As commonly used plant growth retardant, paclobutrazol, uniconazole, chlorocholine chloride, mepiquat chloride, choline chloride and daminozide are used to promote the growth of root and rhizome, call as "zhuanggenling", "pengdasu", "pengdaji" etc. Single or recombination of plant growth regulator is registered as pesticide, and called as pesticide "zhuanggenling" in this paper. Growth regulator which registered as a foliar fertilizer or fertilization was called agricultural fertilizer "zhuanggenling" in this paper. The author investigate the usage of "zhuanggenling" in the root and rhizome of medicinal plants cultivation from 2012 to 2014 in Sichuan province, Huangyuan town, Mianyang (Ophiopogonis Radix); Pengzhou Aoping town (Chuanxiong Rhizoma); Pengshan Xiejia town (Alismatis Rhizoma); Jiangyou Taiping town and Zhangming town (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata); Yunnan Wenshan (Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma); Henan province, Wuzhidafeng Town (Rehmanniae Radix, Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, Dioscoreae Rhizoma); Gansu Min county (Codonopsis Radix, Angelicae Sinensis Radix); Gansu Li county (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma). The result showed that "zhuanggenling" were applied in the most medicinal plant cultivation except Rhei Radix et Rhizoma. It has been applied widespreadly in Ophiopogonis Radix, Alismatis Rhizoma, Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, Codonopsis Radix; Rehmanniae Radix, commonly in Angelicae Sinensis Radix application, and occasionally in Chuanxiong Rhizoma, Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma and Dioscoreae Rhizoma. In 53 collected sample from plantation areas, fifteen (28%) were pesticide "zhuanggenling", thirty-eight (72%) were pesticide "zhuanggenling". UPLC analysis results showed that 38 farmers fertilizer "zhuanggenling" content of 6 kinds of plant growth retardant. It is regarded that fertilizer "zhuanggenling" was dominant in medicinal plant cultivation, and that the plant growth retardant is added widespreadly in farm fertilizer "zhuanggenling". All evidence proves conclusively that "zhuanggenling" have been used in the proper way, whereas some others have been misused or even abused in the use regarding to type, number, use frequency. The root or rhizoma are increased to 20%-200%. But there is lack of evaluation to appraise the quality of medicinal materials from the aspects of research or industry. Objective To investigate and analyze the influencing factors of community nursing cognition and employment intention of higher vocational nursing students,and provide reference for higher vocational colleges to carry out community nursing education and employment guidance.Methods Using the stratified cluster sampling method,nursing students from different grades and different education levels were selected as the object of study and participate in the questionnaire survey.Results The nursing students from different grades,education levels and areas showed significant difference in community nursing and employment intention.Conclusions Higher vocational nursing colleges should strengthen the community nursing practice education and community employment guidance; improve the community nursing cognition and community employment intention of nursing students.

BACKGROUND:Transient receptor potential channel C6 (TRPC6) is a new and important slit diaphragm-associated protein in podocytes involved in regulating glomerular filter function. Glomerular TRPC6 expression is closely associated with proteinuria in diabetic kidney disease. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the expression of canonical TRPC6 in mouse podocytes induced by high glucose, and to explore the possible mechanism of diabetic kidney disease. METHODS:Mouse podocyte cels were cultured and divided into normal glucose group (5.6 mmol/L D-glucose), normal control group (5.6 mmol/L D-glucose+25 mmol/L mannitol) and experimental groups which were in the environment of high glucose (30 mmol/L). The experimental groups included high glucose group, valsartan treatment groups (10-5 mol/L) and U73122 control group (10μmol/L U73122). After 48 hours, the expressions of mRNA and proteins of TRPC6, nephrin and angiotensin II (AngII) were detected respectively by real-time quantitative PCR and western blot analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Compared with the normal control group, the expressions of mRNA and proteins of TRPC6 and angiotensin II were markedly elevated in the high glucose group (P < 0.01), while the expressions of mRNA and proteins of nephrin were decreased (P < 0.01). The mRNA and proteins of TRPC6 and angiotensin II expressions were significantly down-regulated by valsartan (P < 0.05,P < 0.01), while the mRNA and protein expressions of nephrin were effectively up-regulated (P < 0.05). Compared with the high glucose group, the expressions of mRNA and proteins of TRPC6 and angiotensin II were ameliorated in the U73122 control group. The expressions of mRNA and proteins of TRPC6, nephrin and angiotensin II had no statistical significance between the normal control group and normal glucose group (P > 0.05). Angiotensin II-TRPC6 signaling pathway may mediate high glucose-induced podocyte injury, meanwhile it provides a new theoretical basis for the treatment of diabetic kidney disease, by which the angiotensin receptor blockers can protect podocytes in diabetic kidney disease.
