1.Research advances in therapy of dry age-related macular degeneration
Recent Advances in Ophthalmology 2017;37(4):379-383
Age-related macular degeneration(AMD) is the major cause of irreversible damage to vision in over 60 years old.Its incidence is increasing with age.Dry AMD is one of the most common types, causing the loss of vision is very slow.At the late stage, the geographic atrophy will be found,in which central vision is severely lost.It is widely believed that chronic inflammantion injury, oxidative stress injury, lipofuscin, drusen and choroid ischemia are the major pathogenesis. Now,the treatment is major aiming to the pathogenesis. But some new therapies such as crocetin, curcumin, ciliary neurotrophic factor, nanoceria, human monoclonal antibody, photoreceptor and stem cell transplantation have some efficiency to dry AMD.This article reviews the research advances in therapy of dry AMD.
2.One case report on Kawasaki disease complicated with coronary aneurysm and secondary cardio-cerebrovascular disease and literature review
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine in Intensive and Critical Care 2017;24(3):326-327
Kawasaki disease, also known as infantile skin mucous membrane lymph node syndrome, is an acute vasculitis syndrome in pediatricdepartment. The lesion mainly involves medium and small arteries, particularly the coronary artery, being a major cause of pediatric coronary lesion and also a potential risk factor of coronary heart disease during later adulthood. Here the clinical data and treatment of one case of Kawasaki disease complicated with coronary aneurysm and 4 years later the occurrence of cardiocerebrovascular lesion (CCVL) were retrospectively analyzed, and the related literatures were reviewed and analyzed to approach the clinical characteristics of this disease complications. It is suggested that at early stage regular treatment should be applied and afterwards periodical follow-up should be performed; long-term monitoring coronary changes ought to be carried out to decrease the occurrence of CCVL accident.
3.Efficacy and safety of human recombinant endostatin plus pemetrexed and cisplatin in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer
Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2013;12(4):298-299
To explore the efficacy and safety of human recombinant endostatin (rh-endostatin) plus pemetrexed and cisplatin in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).A total of 79 patients with advanced NSCLC were randomly divided into control group (n =39,pemetrexed plus cisplatin) and study group (n =40,rh-endostatin plus pemetrexed and cisplatin). The short-term relative risks of the test group (19/40,47.5%) was significantly higher than that in the control group (10/39,25.6%).And the clinical benefit rate the test group (33/40,82.5%) was higher than that of the control group (23/39,59.0%,P < 0.05).The predominant adverse effects were bone marrow suppression and digestive reactions. And the incidence rate was not significantly different between two groups.

ObjectiveTo discuss the value of interrupted circular suture in hemostasis of placenta previa during cesarean section. Methods We summarized 54 caesarean section patients with placenta previa. Results The hemostasis was succeeded in all of the 9 patients and uterus was retained without postpartum complications. The duration of operation was obviously shorter than that of hysterectomy( P<0.05). Bleeding and blood transfusion were less than that of hysterectomy, but without statistical difference (P>0.05). ConclusionInterrupted circular suture is one of the efficient methods in controlling postpartum bleeding during caesarean section with placenta previa.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(01):-
Objective:To investigate the effect of Shuanghuangbu slow releasing strip (SRSS) on the expression of BMP2 and IGF1 in the experimental regeneration of periodontium. Methods:Periodontal defects were surgically made around the second incisor and the ca nine in four beagle dogs .32 defects were randomly divided into experimental gr oup and control group with 16 defects in each group. SRSS was applied to the e xperimental group and no disposition to periodontal defect in the control group. Two teeth of each dog were randomly chosen as the natural controls.Specimens we re respectively obtained one month and three months after operation. BMP2 and I GF1 were quantitatively analyzed by immunohistochemistry. Results:The positive rate of BMP2 and IGF1 in experimental group were higher t han those in the control( P

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2016;29(4):384-387
Objective Oral lichen planus ( OLP) is a common complaint in the oral mucosa , for which there is no definite therapy hitherto. This article aimed to investigate the possible effect of Huashi Xingyu Qingre Decoction (HXQD) on OLP. Methods This study included 30 randomly selected cases of OLP treated with HXQD .Fasting venous blood and total serum protein were obtained before and after medication for screening and identification of OLP-related differential proteins by two-dimensional fluorescence differ-ence gel electrophoresis (2D DIGE) and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS), followed by Western blot validation . Results Haptoglobin , antithrombin Ⅲ, C1 complement , and vitamin D binding protein were differentially expressed in the serum of the OLP patients before and after treated with HXQD .Compared with the baseline , the expression of haptoglobin was significantly in-creased (103.086 ±27.536 vs 159.704 ±24.228, P<0.05) while that of antithrombin Ⅲ remarkably decreased after treatment (150.00 ±54.04 vs 98.00 ±28.04, P<0.05). Conclusion Haptoglobin, antithrombin Ⅲ, C1 complement, and vitamin D binding protein are differentially expressed in the serum of OLP patients before and after HXQD medication , which may be associated with the development and progression of OLP .

Objective To analyze the effect of Huashi Xingyu Qingre decoction therapy through identification of the differentially expressed saliva proteins of oral lichen planus. Method The saliva of OLP patients before and after treatment were collected. Total saliva proteins were extracted. The differentially expressed saliva proteins were screened by two-dimensional fluorescence difference gel electrophoresis and identified by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. The differentially expressed proteins were analyzed by Western-blot. Results Six differentially expressed proteins were identified as salivary amylase, serum albumin, IgM, carbonic anhydrase VI, zinc-α2- glycoprote and sIgA. The expression level of serum albumin, IgM, carbonic anhydrase VI and zinc-α2-glycoprotein after treatment were lower than that before. However, the expression level of sIgA was higher. The differences were statistically significant. Conclusions Some differentially expressed saliva proteins of OLP before and after Huashi Xingyu Qingre decoction therapy are characterized, and they may play a vital part in the occurrence and development of OLP.
