Objective:To observe the effect of Allicin in cardial fibroblasts (CFs) proliferation and Collagen secretion,and to explore its role on TLR4/NF-κB signal pathway.Methods:CFs of neonatal Wistar rats were isolated and cultured ,then was stimulated with AngⅡ.CFs proliferation was measured by thiazolyl blue ( MTT) assay.The expression of collagenⅠ,collagenⅢ was measured by ELISA.mRNA expression of TLR4 and NF-κB were detected by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction ,protein expression of TLR4 and NF-κB were detected with Western blot.Results: Allicin could reduced MTT value of cardial fibroblasts ( P<0.01 ) , and inhibited expression of collagenⅠ,collagenⅢ(P<0.01),which in a dose-dependent manner.Allicin could reduced mRNA expression of TLR4 and NF-κB and protein expression of TLR 4 and NF-κB in CF induced by Ang Ⅱ ( all P<0.01 ) .Conclusion: Allicin can inhibit Myocardial fibrosis ,which mechanism is possible by inhibiting TLR 4/NF-κB signal pathway.

Objective To analyze the correlation of traditional Chinese medical constitution types withcardiovascular risk factors in community hypertension patients. Methods We defined the constitution types of 1108 community hypertension patients, created personal health archives and provided routine examination for the subjects. After that, we input and analyzed the relevant data and results by computer. Results In 1108 cases of hypertension patients, 229 (20.67%) were defined as harmony physique, 879 (79.33%) as biased physique. In patients with biased physique, phlegm-dampness physique accounted for 25.54% (283 cases) , and then came yin deficiency physique and Qi deficiency physique, which accounted for 15.16% (168 cases) and 13.18% (146 cases) , respectively. The biased physique was dominated by single biased physique with a total of 590 cases ( 67.12%) , but the complex physique was also in large quantity, with a total of 289 cases ( 32.88%) . The complex physique consisting of two kinds of single physique was commonly seen in the patients with complex physique, accounting for 15.70%. The complex physique consisting of more kinds of single physique had less percentage. Phlegm-dampness physique was a kind of physique involving the most cardiovascular risk factors. Patients with phlegm-dampness physique had higher incidence of overweight, abnormal lipid level, family history of cardiovascular disease, lack of physical exercise and electrocardiographic abnormality, and the difference was statistically significant compared with other physique types ( P<0.05 or P<0.01) . Conclusion Phlegm-dampness, yin deficiency and Qi deficiency physique are the three commonly-seen constitution types in hypertension patients. Phlegm-dampness physique is the most commonly-seen biased physique and is also a kind of physique involving the most cardiovascular risk factors. Prevention and management in consideration with the constitution characteristics and cardiovascular risk factors will be a new prospective method for the treatment of hypertension patients in community.

Objective To study the correlations among lumbosacral anatomical structure variations and herniation of intervertebral disc.Methods Through analyzing lumbar CT images of 684 patients with lumbocrural pain between 15 to 24 years old, the anatomical variations of spondylolysis, scoliosis deformity, lumbosacral transitional vertebra, subfissure, lumbosacral angle and others (including vertebral muscles beside, spines, transverse process on both sides) were observed, and the correlations among these anatomical variations and herniation of intervertebral disc were analyzed.Results The correlations among these above mentioned anatomical variations and herniation of intervertebral disc were 93.6%,92.3%,87.5%,81.3%,72.1%,53.3% respectively.In 91.4% of patients, the lumbosacral anatomical structure variations suffered herniation of intervertebral disc at the same time.But only 36.2% of patients suffered herniation of intervertebral disc without lumbosacral anatomical structure variations.Conclusion Lumbosacral anatomical structure variation is the main reason of herniation of intervertebral disc on teenagers.CT examination,which can reflect the correlation between them.

Objective To explore the application effects of quality control circle (QCC) activity in reducing the peripherally inserted central venous catheters (PICC) maintenance missing rate of discharged tumor patients. Methods Firstly, QCC method was applied to set up the activity topic and carry out investigation of the status quo. Secondly, the targets were set up by analyzing the reasons for the missing of PICC maintenance of the discharged tumor patients. The appropriate measures were established and implemented by strengthening the maintenance point nurse PICC training, expanding the province's PICC maintenance network, enhancing patients' awareness for the importance of PICC maintenance, and the effects were evaluated in the end. Results The missing rate of the discharged tumor patients decreased from 40.00% to 10.92%. The target yield rate was 112.19% and the progressive rate was 78.70%. The number of the PICC maintenance network stations in the whole province increased from 21 to 96, and was constantly increasing. The pass rate of the maintenance increased from 76.02% to 96.00%. Patients and their families recognized these advances. Conclusions The QCC activity not only reduces the missing rate of PICC maintenance of the discharged tumor patients, enhances the percentage of the pass rate the maintenance, but also improves the QCC members' problem solving ability, sense of responsibility, cohesion and other comprehensive qualities.

Necroptosis is a regulated process of programmed cell death independent of aspartic acid-specific cysteine protease,which can induce inflammation.Studies have shown that necroptosis is closely related to the progression and prognosis of pancreatic disease and plays an important two-way regulatory role in its progression.Related necroptosis inhibitors and inducers are expected to be used in the treatment of pancreatic disease.We herein review the mechanism of necroptosis and its role in the progression of pancreatic disease to provide a new understanding of the pathogenesis and treatment of pancreatic diseases and offer a theoretical basis for the research and development of targeted drugs.

Objective Neuromuscular electrical stimulation(NMES)-evoked kinesthetic information in muscle spindle can be purely extracted from the mixed motor and sensory afferents using Ischemic nerve block(INB).This study aims to investigate the somatosensory cortical response evoked by NMES activating muscle spindle afferents in forearm.Methods All subjects performed four experimental tasks designed according to a 2×2 factors,including one factor of the INB state(without INB and within INB)and the other of the stimulation intensity(above and below motor threshold).During the experiment,we recorded EEG data with 64 channels and then beta event-related desynchronization(Beta ERD)were utilized quantize somatosensory cortical excitability evoked by the tasks.The subjective perception about the sensation and movement of the right hand were evaluated by a psychophysical test after the right wrist was performed by INB.Results INB significantly reduced beta ERD on the contralateral somatosensory cortex evoked by NMES above the motor threshold,and there was significant difference of NMES-evoked beta ERD values on the contralateral somatosensory cortex between above and below motor threshold.Meanwhile,contralateral dominance of NMES-evoked beta ERD on the somatosensory cortex was transferred to ipsilateral hemisphere under INB.Conclusion INB can significantly reduce NMES-evoked somatosensory cortical response above motor threshold and decrease cortical perception on the stimulus intensity,which may be due to INB resulting in rapid functional reorganization of somatosensory cortex.

OBJECTIVES: Myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury (IRI) occurs occasionally in the process of ischemic heart disease. Sevoflurane preconditioning has an effect on attenuating IRI. Preserving the structural and functional integrity of mitochondria is the key to reduce myocardial IRI. Silent information regulator 3 (SIRT3), a class of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD⁺) dependent deacetylases, is an important signal-regulating molecule in mitochondria. This study aims to explore the role of mitochondrial NAD⁺-SIRT3 pathway in attenuating myocardial IRI in rats by sevoflurane preconditioning. METHODS: A total of 60 male Sprague Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into 5 groups (n=12): A sham group (Sham group), an ischemia reperfusion group (IR group), a sevoflurane preconditioning group (Sev group, inhaled 2.5% sevoflurane for 30 min), a sevoflurane preconditioning+SIRT3 inhibitor 3-TYP group (Sev+3-TYP group, inhaled 2.5% sevoflurane for 30 min and received 5 mg/kg 3-TYP), and a 3-TYP group (5 mg/kg 3-TYP). Except for the Sham group, the IR model in the other 4 groups was established by ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery. The size of myocardial infarction was determined by double staining. Serum cardiac troponin I (cTnI) level was measured. The contents of NAD⁺ and ATP, the activities of mitochondrial complexes I, II, and IV, the content of MDA, the activity of SOD, and the changes of mitochondrial permeability were measured. The protein expression levels of SIRT3, SOD2, catalase (CAT), and voltage dependent anion channel 1 (VDAC1) were detected by Western blotting. The ultrastructure of myocardium was observed under transmission electron microscope. MAP and HR were recorded immediately before ischemia (T0), 30 min after ischemia (T1), 30 min after reperfusion (T2), 60 min after reperfusion (T3), and 120 min after reperfusion (T4). RESULTS: After ischemia reperfusion, the content of NAD⁺ in cardiac tissues and the expression level of SIRT3 protein were decreased (both P<0.01), and an obvious myocardial injury occurred, including the increase of myocardial infarction size and serum cTnI level (both P<0.01). Correspondingly, the mitochondria also showed obvious damage on energy metabolism, antioxidant function, and structural integrity, which was manifested as: the activities of mitochondrial complexes I, II, and IV, ATP content, protein expression levels of SOD2 and CAT were decreased, while MDA content, VDAC1 protein expression level and mitochondrial permeability were increased (all P<0.01). Compared with the IR group, the content of NAD⁺ in cardiac tissues and the expression level of SIRT3 protein were increased in the Sev group (both P<0.01); the size of myocardial infarction and the level of serum cTnI were decreased in the Sev group (both P<0.01); the activities of mitochondrial complexes I, II, and IV, ATP content, protein expression levels of SOD2 and CAT were increased, while MDA content, VDAC1 protein expression level, and mitochondrial permeability were decreased in the Sev group (all P<0.01). Compared with the Sev group, the content of NAD⁺ in cardiac tissues and the expression level of SIRT3 protein were decreased in the Sev+3-TYP group (both P<0.01); the size of myocardial infarction and the level of serum cTnI were increased in the Sev+3-TYP group (both P<0.01); the activities of mitochondrial complexes I, II, and IV, ATP content, protein expression levels of SOD2 and CAT were decreased, while MDA content, VDAC1 protein expression level, and mitochondrial permeability were increased in the Sev+3-TYP group (all P<0.01). CONCLUSIONS Sevoflurane preconditioning attenuates myocardial IRI through activating the mitochondrial NAD⁺-SIRT3 pathway to preserve the mitochondrial function.
