Objective To explore the relationship between the abnormal expression of anti-oncogene PTEN in gastric carcinoma and the clinicopathological characteristics. Methods Mythylation specific PCR was applied to detect the expression of PTEN methylation in gastric carcinoma and their normal tissues from 45 patients. Results The methylation took place in 40.0 percent in gastric carcinoma and 2.2 percent in their normal tissues, and the difference was significant(P<0.05). The methylation rate in poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma was 60.0 percent ,while 15.0 percent in highly-moderately differentiated group, the difference was significant (P<0.05). In the 24 cases with lymph node metastasis, mythylation was observed in 13 cases, and the difference was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The methylation of PTEN gene was associated with gastric carcinoma, it may play an important role in the development of the disease.

ObjectiveTo study the therapeutic effect and mechanisms of nourishing Piyin Remedy (nPR) on experimental rat spinal cord injury.MethodsThirty-two healthy SD rats were divided into 2 equal groups randomly: nPR group and injured group. Animal model of incomplete injury of spinal cord was made by Allen's equipment on rat's T8—T9 segment. The spinal nerve function,SEP,retrograde and label technique of horse radish peroxidase, gross observation, histological and morphometric analysis were taken as the observed indices.ResultsThe value of observed indices of nPR group were improved evidently compared with injured group.ConclusionNourishing Piyin Remede can hold back the secondary spinal cord injury and accelerate the recovery of spinal nerve function.
3.Front-end access regulation and liability adjustment of infringement in the middle and back-ends of medical artificial intelligence
Chinese Medical Ethics 2025;38(2):150-158
Based on the unique characteristics of medical artificial intelligence (AI) that differ from general medical devices, it was found that the clinical application of medical AI has brought different levels of impacts on the front-end access supervision and regulation, the mid-end informed consent right design, and back-end post-damage liability adjustment. In this regard, it is necessary to appropriately relax the admission review, strengthen the coordination of supervision before and after listing, and simultaneously adjust the comprehensive judgment ideas of “safe and effective” medical AI; clarify the “breadth” of notification and “depth” of disclosure regarding the patients’ informed consent rights; based on current product liability and liability for medical malpractice system, typologically adjust the allocation of liability, while strengthening the supplemental application of medical compulsory liability insurance, so as to enhance the relief of patients’ damage, rationalize risk allocation, and minimize social costs.

Hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae, short for hvKP, is a hypervirulent variant of classical Klebsiella pneumoniae, which accounts for serious infection in healthy people, exhibits strong pathogenicity, high mortality and poor prognosis. At present, hvkp is of high prevalence all over the world, and the infection rate shows a continuous upward trend, which brings great challenges to public health security and clinical treatment. This paper summarized the research progress on virulence factors of hvkp, such as capsular polysaccharides, siderophore, lipopolysaccharide, adhesins and recently discovered Type Ⅵ secreting system, and aimed to deepen the understanding and recognition of hvKP.

IgG 4-related disease (IgG 4-RD) is an immune-mediated fibroinflammatory condition characterized by tumefactive lesions in multi-organs. It is a novel entity presented by variable manifestations. In recent years, there has been progress toward recognizing IgG 4-RD. However, the diagnosis and treatment of IgG 4-RD still present challenges due to insufficient experience. To address this, the Chinese Rheumatology Association has developed standardized guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of IgG 4-RD based on domestic and international experience. These guidelines aim to enhance the understanding and management of IgG 4-RD, ultimately improving the prognosis for patients with IgG 4-RD.
