5.Effects of Different Materials Post-core Restoration on Fracture Resistance of Weakened Roots
Journal of China Medical University 2016;45(7):596-600
Objective To investigate the influence of different kinds of post?core materials on fracture resistant ability of different walls during weakened root restoration. Methods Forty?eight human single root mandibular first premolars were randomly assigned to two groups(groupⅠwas repaired with quartz?fiber post?core and mental crown ,and groupⅡwas repaired with Co?Cr cast metal post?core and mental crown). Each main group was then divided into four subgroups of 6 specimens. All samples were tested on the universal test machine. We observed the fracture load and the fracture mode of the specimens. Results Cr?Co ally post?core group exhibited significantly higher resistance to fracture than quartz fiber post?core in the same number weakened root walls(P<0.05). With the increase in the quantity of weakened root walls ,the fracture resistance was significant decreased in the same post?core material(P<0.05). The possibility of repairable fractures in groupⅠwas significantly higher than that in groupⅡ(P<0.05). Conclusion Cr?Co alloy post?core can bear a higher bite ,but quartz fiber post?core has the most favorable fracture modes.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate outpatients' cognition(including knowledge, attitude and behavior)on adverse drug reactions(ADR),and to analyze the influential factors of ADR cognition.METHODS:An on-the-spot questionnaire survey was conducted in which a total of 488 outpatients sampled from our hospital from May to December in 2007 were investigated and the data analyzed statistically.RESULTS:The correct rate was 36.6% for the questions related to cognition on ADR.70.5% of the patients investigated had a poor cognition on ADR.The factors influencing patients' cognition on ADR included educational background,ADR experience, pharmacists' guidance on medication, source of medicine knowledge, occupation, doctors' guidance on medication, community ADR lecture, and gender.CONCLUSION:The outpatients have a poor cognition on ADR.Both doctors and pharmacists should offer guidance on medication and give lecture in community to inform patients the knowledge about rational administration and ADR.
7.The changes and significance of serum NT-proBNP levels in mice with viral myocarditis
Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui 2015;50(12):1753-1757
Objective To investigate the changes and significance of serum N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide ( NT-proBNP) levels in mice model with viral myocarditis( VMC) . Methods 100 Balb/c mice were randomly di-vided into VMC group ( n=60 ) and control group ( n=40 ) . Mice in VMC group were injected intraperitoneally coxsackievirus B3 ( CVB3 ) , while mice in control group were treated with the same amount of virus-free DMEM cul-tivate liquid. 10 mice of each group were sacrificed on 3, 7, 14, and 28th day after VMC modeling and their blood and heart tissues were collected. The serum NT-proBNP levels in two groups of mice were detected by ELISA. Pathological changes in myocardial tissue were examined with hematoxylin and eosin stain. The relationship be-tween serum NT-proBNP concentration and cardiac pathology score of VMC group at different time points were ana-lyzed. Results The serum NT-proBNP levels of VMC group were significantly higher than that of control group( P<0. 05 ) . There was a significant statistical difference between NT-proBNP levels of VMC group at different time points( P <0. 05 ) . The NT-proBNP level was positively correlated with myocardial histopathology scores ( r =0. 829 , P<0. 05 ) . Conclusion Serum NT-proBNP levels may reflect severity of myocardial injury in mice with VMC. NT-proBNP can be used as one of serum indicators to judge the risk stratification in mice with VMC.

Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the effect of injecting?-acceptor inhibitor on the acute extensive miocardial infarction prognosis. Methods 53 cases patients with acute extensive miocardial infarction were injected Betaloc 5mg, after 3 times, taken Betaloc orally. Betaloc was not applied in another 49 cases patients with acute extensive miocardial infarction. The curative effect was compared between the two groups. Results The efficient or inefficient ratio of the group with Betaloc or the group without Betaloc was 48/53, 5/53 or 36/49, 13/49 respectively. The difference was significant by ?~2 test .Conclusions The patient with acute extensive miocardial infarction can get the extra good by means of early application of ?-acceptor inhibitor except the patient with no-no of the application of Betaloc.
