Objective: To investigate the short-term effects of ischemic preconditioning (IP) on left ventricular diastolic function in diabetic patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI). Methods: Totally 188 patients with first AMI were studied. Eighty-one patients without diabetes were divided into group A (with IP) and group B (without IP). The other 107 patients with diabetes were divided into group C (with IP) and group D (without IP).The effect of IP on peak creatine kinase value and left ventricular diastolic function were analyzed separately. Results: The peak creatine kinase value, the peak creatine kinase MB fractions and the incidence of E/A

Objective To understand the status and main influence factors of customer satisfaction in the physical examination .Methods Three hundred and sixty-six customers were surveyed by the self-designed physical examination satisfaction questionnaire in order to understand the physical examination -related knowledge of customer and customer satisfaction and analyze the influence factors .Results Four hundred questionnaires were issued and 366 questionnaires were responsive with an effective response rate of 96.2%.The customer satisfaction to the overall service quality was 96.2%, and the difference was found in the different gender (χ2 =-2.27 ,P<0.05 ) .The service guide satisfaction was 93.4%, and the difference was found in the different age (χ2 =24.974 ,P<0.01 ) .The privacy protection satisfaction was 95.1%, and the female to medical privacy protection satisfaction was lower than the male , and the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =-2.094 , P<0.05 ) .Conclusions The terms of precautions before and during the examinations , the purpose of physical examination project and the education and inform of female health-related knowledge should be strengthened . The flow of physical examination should be improved and the waiting time should be shortened in the process of physical examination .

Infectious bronchitis in chickens is a serious threat to the global poultry industry.Despite the availability of commercial vaccines, the epidemic has not been effectively controlled. Therefore, the development of novel vaccines may provide new ways to prevent and control this disease. In this study,BLP-S1,a bacterium-like particle displaying the S1 subunit of infectious bronchitis virus on its surface, was constructed using the GEM-PA system. The immunoprotection results showed that BLP-S1 effectively induced the production of specific IgG and sIgA in commercial chickens and provided effective protection against a heterologous strain with a protection rate of up to 90%.This study demonstrated that BLP-S1 has good immunogenicity and immunoprotection, with the poten-tial to develop a novel vaccine against infectious bronchitis.

OBJECTIVE:
To analyze the characteristics of genetic variants among children with refractory epilepsy (RE).
METHODS:
One hundred and seventeen children with RE who had presented at the Affiliated Jinhua Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine from January 1, 2018 to November 21, 2019 were selected as the study subjects. The children were divided into four groups according to their ages of onset: < 1 year old, 1 ~ 3 years old, 3 ~ 12 years old, and >= 12 years old. Clinical data and results of trio-whole exome sequencing were retrospectively analyzed.
RESULTS:
In total 67 males and 50 females were included. The age of onset had ranged from 4 days to 14 years old. Among the 117 patients, 33 (28.21%) had carried pathogenic or likely pathogenic variants. The detection rates for the < 1 year old, 1 ~ 3 years old and >= 3 years old groups were 53.85% (21/39), 12.00% (3/25) and 16.98% (9/53), respectively, with a significant difference among the groups (χ2 = 19.202, P < 0.001). The detection rates for patients with and without comorbidities were 33.33% (12/36) and 25.93% (21/81), respectively (χ2 = 0.359, P = 0.549). Among the 33 patients carrying genetic variants, 27 were single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) or insertion/deletions (InDels), and 6 were copy number variations (CNVs). The most common mutant genes were PRRT2 (15.15%, 5/33) and SCN1A (12.12%, 4/33). Among children carrying genetic variants, 72.73% (8/11) had attained clinical remission after adjusting the medication according to the references.
CONCLUSION
28.21% of RE patients have harbored pathogenic or likely pathogenic variants or CNVs. The detection rate is higher in those with younger age of onset. PRRT2 and SCN1A genes are more commonly involved. Adjusting medication based on the types of affected genes may facilitate improvement of the remission rate.
