Objective To evaluated the improving effect of training method of point-line-plane on development quotient in premature infants with brain injury.Methods 174 cases of premature children with brain injury were randomly divided into study group (89 cases) and control group (85 cases).Control group given Bobath and Vojta traditional rehabilitation training,and the study group was given training method of point-line-plane.Patients in both groups were evaluated synthetically based on The Evaluation Chart on Neu-robehavioral Development of Children Aged 0-6 Years,developed by Capital Institute of Pediatrics,prior to the treatment,and after the first,the second,and the third course of the training programs,respectively.Re-sults The score of developmental quotient ( DQ) between study group and control group was no significantly different(P>0.05).Compared with before treatment, the scores of DQ was significantly increased after the first, the second and the third course of training treatment in study group and control group((82.71±12.28) vs (81.17±9.63), t=0.859, P>0.05;(89.65±10.02) vs (87.02±7.39), t=1.747, P>0.05). Compared with the control group, the scores of DQ in study group was no significant difference after the first and the second course of treatment,but there was significantiy different after the third course treatment((95.26±8.87) vs (91.31±7.63), t=2.945, P=0.004).Conclusion The training method of point-line-plane can improve the clinical efficacy of premature infants with brain injury at the early phase, which is worth widely applying in clinical practice.

Objective To detect the expression of EIF5A2 in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) and to explore its relation with clinicopathological characters and prognosis of HCC patients. Methods The expression of EIF5A2 mRNA and protein in 12 pairs of fresh HCC and corresponding non-tumor tissues adjacent to the cancer was examined by qRT-PCR and Western blot. The expression level of EIF5A2 in 284 pairs of HCC and adjacent non-tumor tissues was detected by IHC staining. Then we analyzed between EIF5A2 expression and clinical pathological parameters and prognosis of HCC patients. Results The relative expression levels of EIF5A2 mRNA and protein in fresh HCC tissues were significantly higher than those in the corresponding adjacent non-tumor tissues (t=5.305, P=0.0003; t=10.120, P < 0.001); EIF5A2 expression in 284 HCC tissues was significantly higher than that in the corresponding adjacent non-tumor tissues (z=-12.186, P < 0.001). The expression of EIF5A2 was significantly correlated with tumor size (χ²=13.079, P < 0.001), tumor multiplicity (χ²=4.589, P=0.032) and differentiation degree (χ²=4.844, P=0.028). The 3- and 5-year overall survival time and disease-free survival time of the patients with high expression of EIF5A2 were significantly shorter than those with low expression of EIF5A2 (P < 0.001). EIF5A2 was an independent prognostic factor affecting the 3- and 5-year overall survival time and disease-free survival time of HCC patients (P < 0.05). Conclusion The up-regulation of EIF5A2 expression may be related with the occurrence and development of hepatocellular carcinoma. The high expression of EIF5A2 is an independent influence factor for poor prognosis and EIF5A2 can be used as a potential molecular marker for predicting the prognosis of HCC patients.

Objective:To investigate the effect of cyclin A1 on the invasion, metastasis, and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).Methods:Immunohistochemistry (IHC) was used to detect the expressional condition of cyclin A1 in HCC and paraffin-embedded non-tumor adjacent tissues. Kaplan-Meier method was used for the survival analysis of patients with HCC. Western blot (WB) was used to detect the expression of cyclin A1 in HCCLM3 and QGY-7703 cells. Scratch wound healing assay, transwell migration, and invasion assay were used to detect the effect of cyclin A1 overexpression on cell migration and invasion ability. WB was used to detect changes in the expression of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) 2, MMP9, and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) after overexpression of cyclin A1. Measurement data were compared using a t-test and analysis of variance. Count data was measured using χ2 test and the Log-rank method was performed for survival analysis. Results:Cyclin A1 expression rates were higher in the tissues of HCC patients with recurrent metastasis than in the tissues of patients without recurrent metastasis (60.42% vs. 46.81%, χ2 = 4.711, P < 0.05). The overall postoperative survival time (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) were shorter in patients with high cyclin A1 expression than those with low cyclin A1 expression (45.9 months vs. 53.1 months; 42.9 months vs. 51.3 months, and P < 0.01). The postoperative OS and DFS were shorter in patients with high cyclin A1 expression and recurrent metastasis than those with low cyclin A1 expression without recurrent metastasis (31.7 months vs. 43.9 months; 18.0 months vs. 31.5 months, and P < 0.05). HCCLM3 and QGY-7703 cells were higher in the cyclin A1-pEX group than in the empty vector (vector) group (1.56 ± 0.06 vs. 0.18 ± 0.01, t = 18.75, P < 0.001; 1.31 ± 0.05 vs.0.37 ± 0.02, t = 15.17, P < 0.001). The migrated distances of HCCLM3 cells in the cyclin A1-pEX group and the vector group were (536.7 ± 14.5) μm and (327.3 ± 9.3) μm, t = 11.84, P < 0.05, respectively, while the migrated distances of QGY-7703 cells in the two groups were (916.7 ± 35.3) μm and (320.0 ± 20.8) μm, t = 13.54, P < 0.01. The migrated numbers of HCCLM3 cells in the cyclin A1-pEX group and vector group were (37.3 ± 2.4) and (7.0 ± 1.2), t = 12.67, P < 0.001, and the number of invasive cells was (73.7 ± 4.1) and (12.6 ± 1.5), t = 12.36, P < 0.001, respectively. The migrated numbers of QGY-7703 cells in the two groups were (153.3 ± 6.0) and (17.7 ± 3.7), t = 17.59, P < 0.001, and the number of invasive cells was (45.0 ± 2.9) and (9.3 ± 1.5), t = 10.66, P < 0.001, respectively. The expression levels of MMP2, MMP9, and VEGF in HCCLM3 and QGY-7703 cells were significantly higher in the cyclin A1-pEX group than those in the vector group ( P < 0.05). Conclusion:Cyclin A1 plays an important role in HCC invasion and metastasis, but HCC patients with high cyclin A1 expression have a poor prognosis. Hence, cyclin A1 has high guiding significance for evaluating patient prognosis.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility and safety of tracheal extubation in operating room for patients with end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) after single-lung transplantation. Methods Clinical data of 57 recipients who underwent single-lung transplantation due to end-stage COPD were retrospectively analyzed. According to the evaluation indexes of tracheal extubation in operating room established by our hospital, 17 recipients eligible for tracheal extubation in operating room were assigned into the operating room extubation group (OR extubation group) and 40 recipients receiving tracheal extubation in intensive care unit (ICU) were allocated in the ICU extubation group. The evaluation results of intraoperative tracheal extubation and postoperative recovery were compared between two groups. Results Compared with the ICU extubation group, recipients in the OR extubation group had higher oxygenation index, lower arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PaCO₂), lower blood lactic acid level, less fluctuation range of blood pressure and fewer cases receiving extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) during operation (all P < 0.05). Two recipients in the OR extubation group received repeated tracheal intubation at 6 and 8 h after returning to ICU, and tracheal extubation at postoperative 6 and 9 d. In the OR extubation group, time of postoperative mechanical ventilation, length of postoperative ICU and hospital stay of the recipients were shorter than those in the ICU extubation group (all P < 0.05). The incidence of grade 3 primary graft dysfunction (PGD), atrial tachyarrhythmia, continuous renal replacement therapy and 1-year survival rate did not significantly differ between two groups (all P > 0.05). Conclusions The tracheal extubation regimen in the operating room for COPD patients after single-lung transplantation established by our hospital is safe and feasible, which shortens the time of postoperative mechanical ventilation, the length of postoperative ICU and hospital stay, whereas does not increase the incidence of postoperative complications.

Transforming growth factor (TGF)-β is a group of cytokines with anti-inflammatory effects in the TGF family, which participates in the development of stress and depression-related mechanisms, and plays roles in the regulation of inflammatory response in depression and the recovery of various cytokine imbalances. The core symptoms of depression is associated with TGF-β level, and the psychological symptoms of depression are related to TGF-β gene polymorphism. Various antidepressants may up-regulate TGF-β level through the complex interaction between neurotransmitters and inflammatory factors, inhibiting inflammatory response and regulating cytokine imbalance to improve depressive symptoms. Studies have shown that recombinant TGF-β1 protein has beneficial effects in mouse depression models, indicating TGF-β1 might be a potential therapeutic target for depression and nasal sprays having the advantage of being fast acting delivery method. This article reviews the research progress on dynamic changes of TGF-β level before and after depression treatment and the application of TGF-β level as an indicator for the improvement of depressive symptoms. We provide ideas for the development of new antidepressants and for the evaluation of the treatment efficacy in depression.

Objective This study aims to analyze the epidemiological and etiological characteristics of hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) in Urumqi City, Xinjiang from 2014 to 2022, in order to provide theoretical basis for the prevention and control of HFMD in Urumqi City. Methods We collected and analyzed the reported HFMD cases in Urumqi City from the National Information System for Infectious Diseases Reporting during the period of 2014-2022. Results A total of 17 138 cases of HFMD were reported in Urumqi City from 2014 to 2022, with an average annual incidence rate of 52.66/100 000. The overall trend showed a decrease, and the peak months were from May to July. The top three districts with the highest incidence rates were High-tech Zone, Shayibake District, and Tianshan District. The male-to-female ratio was 1.48:1，and there were statistically significant differences in the incidence rates among gender (χ²=2.28,P>0.05). The majority of cases (90.23%) were children aged 0-6 years, primarily scattered children, and other enterovirus strains became dominant after 2017. Conclusion HFMD has shown a decreasing trend in Urumqi City, Xinjiang in recent years. The disease primarily affects pre-school children, and other enterovirus strains have become the dominant strains in the area. It is recommended to develop scientifically effective prevention and control measures based on the local situation to control the spread of HFMD.

Metabolic reprogramming is a common phenomenon in cancer, with aerobic glycolysis being one of its important characteristics. Hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF1Α) is thought to play an important role in aerobic glycolysis. Meanwhile, naringin is a natural flavanone glycoside derived from grapefruits and many other citrus fruits. In this work, we identified glycolytic genes related to HIF1Α by analyzing the colon cancer database. The analysis of extracellular acidification rate and cell function verified the regulatory effects of HIF1Α overexpression on glycolysis, and the proliferation and migration of colon cancer cells. Moreover, naringin was used as an inhibitor of colon cancer cells to illustrate its effect on HIF1Α function. The results showed that the HIF1Α and enolase 2 (ENO2) levels in colon cancer tissues were highly correlated, and their high expression indicated a poor prognosis for colon cancer patients. Mechanistically, HIF1Α directly binds to the DNA promoter region and upregulates the transcription of ENO2; ectopic expression of ENO2 increased aerobic glycolysis in colon cancer cells. Most importantly, we found that the appropriate concentration of naringin inhibited the transcriptional activity of HIF1Α, which in turn decreased aerobic glycolysis in colon cancer cells. Generally, naringin reduces glycolysis in colon cancer cells by reducing the transcriptional activity of HIF1Α and the proliferation and invasion of colon cancer cells. This study helps to elucidate the relationship between colon cancer progression and glucose metabolism, and demonstrates the efficacy of naringin in the treatment of colon cancer.
