Objective To investigate the effect of combined treatment of microwave and antibiotics for chronic prostatitis. Methods A total of 90 patients with the diagnosis of chronic prostatitis were divided into two groups. The study group (n=45) received combined treatment of pulse microwave and minocycline, and the control group(n=45)only received the minocycline therapy. Results The curative effect of the study group was much better than that of the control group after a therapy of 5 weeks, based on the NIH-CPSI and the counting of WBC in prostate fluid. Conclusions Combined treatment of pulse microwave and minocycline is effective to ameliorate the symptoms of pain and dysuria, increase the quality of lives, decrease the counting of WBC in the prostate fluid. Therefore it is a useful treatment to improve the rate of cure and utility.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of sorafenib in the treatment of Chi-nese patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma. Methods This muhicenter phase Ⅱ clinical trial was performed from May 2006 to December 2006. Sixty-two patients with metastatic renal cell carci-noma not suitable for curative treatment were enrolled. All patients received oral sorafenib as single a-gent at the dose of 400 mg twice a day until disease progression or intolerable toxicities occurred. Re-salts Partial responses were recorded as best response in 11 patients, while complete remission was found in 1 patient and stable diseases were found in another 35 patients. According to the intents-to-treatment population, the overall response rate was 19.4% (12/62), and the disease control rate was 77.4%(48/62). The median progression free survival time was 9.6 months with 1-year progression-free survival rate of 41.9%. However, the median survival time had not reached due to the short fol-low-up. The most frequent adverse events included alopecia (66.1%), diarrhea (62.9%), hand-foot syndrome (58.1%), anorexia (40.3%), rash(37.1%), fatigue (37.1%), hypertension (35.5%), hoarseness(32.3%), joint pain (25.8%), hypophosphatemia (21.0%), fever (19.4%), nausea (19.4%), abnormal transeaminase( 11.3% ), elevated total bilirubicin( 16.1% ), leucopenia( 12.9% ), bleeding under nail(16.1%), and gum bleeding(11.3%). Grade 3 adverse events included hand-foot syndrome (16.1%), hypertension (12.9%), diarrhea(6.5%), hypophosphatemia (4.8%), joint pain (3.2%), and leucopenia(3.2%). Conclusions Sorafenib has prominent anti-tumor activity in Chi-nese metastatic renal cell cancer patients with most adverse events being grade 1 or 2. More attention should be paid to hypertension and cardio-cerebral vascular events during the application of sorafenib.

Objective To formulate a comprehensive and reasonable admission nursing assessment sheet with specialty features, so as to improve quality of nursing assessment for patients at admission to Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery. Methods According to characteristics of patients newly admitted to Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery and need of medical service,a nursing assessment sheet suitable for inpatients to Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery was designed, with main contents including basic information, physical examinations for nursing, conditions of daily life, social and psychological conditions, specialty examinations, risk of falling down from bed,and risk of pressure sores. Incidence rate of adverse nursing events like patients' falling down from bed or pressure sores, and the patients' satisfaction were compared before (June 2014 to May 2015) and after (June 2015 to May 2016) application of this sheet. Results After application of this new version of admission nursing assessment sheet, incidence of adverse nursing events happened to inpatients dropped from 2.95% to 0.91% (χ2=4.386,P< 0.05);patients' satisfaction increased from (83.16±10.62) to (90.41±8.66) (t=14.103,P<0.05). Conclusions By using this new version of admission nursing assessment sheet, status of the patients can be assessed in a diversified and multi-dimensional way,so that incidence of falling down from the bed can be lowered, medical risks be decreases, patients' satisfaction be increased, and nursing efficiency be improved, which make it worth promoting in Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery.

Objective:
To investigate the incidence and clinical features to probe the risk factors of hemorrhagic cystitis (HC) in children and adolescents with hematological diseases post haplo-hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (haplo-HSCT) .
Methods:
Medical records of 62 children and 27 adolescents with hematological diseases treated with haplo-HSCT between 2015 and 2016 were analyzed.
Results:
Of 89 cases (56 boys and 33 girls) , 44 patients were diagnosed with ALL, 33 AML, 3 AHL and 9 MDS. HC occurred in 32 of the 89 patients with an incidence of 36%, including 6 with grade Ⅰ, 16 with grade Ⅱ, 8 with grade Ⅲ, 2 with grade Ⅳ HC, respectively. The median time of HC onset was 25 days (range 2-55 days) after haplo-HSCT with the median duration as 19 days (range 3-95 days) , all of them were cured. The incidence of HC was lower in the group of children than that in the group of adolescents (27.4%

Objective:To explore the effect of getting out of bed activity 6 hours after silicone breast augmentation surgery on the comfort of patients. Methods:From May 2019 to August 2020, 84 female patients aged 20-37 (28.34±6.27) years who underwent silicone breast augmentation surgery at the Department of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology at the Second People′s Hospital of Guangdong Province were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 42 patients in each group, using a random number table method. The control group got out of bed 24 hours after surgery, while the observation group got out of bed 6 hours after surgery. The chest drainage and fixation patency, comfort, silicone prosthesis displacement, and incision bleeding rate between the two groups of patients were compared 24 hours after surgery. Results:The extraction time of the thoracic drainage tube in the observation group was (82.64±11.78 hours), which was shorter than that in the control group (90.67±12.44 hours), and the difference was statistically significant ( t=5.369, P<0.01). The comfort scores of the observation group patients at 6 hours after surgery (95.07±4.14) and 24 hours after surgery (97.52±4.07) were higher than those of the control group at 6 hours (91.14±4.03) and 24 hours (94.19±3.93), and the difference was statistically significant ( t=4.413, 3.832, both P<0.01); 7 days after surgery, there were 2 cases of silicone prosthesis displacement in the observation group, with an incidence rate of 4.76% (2/42); there were 2 cases of silicone prosthesis displacement in the control group, with an incidence rate of 4.76% (2/42); there were 6 cases of incision bleeding, with an incidence rate of 14.29% (6/42); there were 5 cases of incision bleeding in the control group, with an incidence rate of 11.90% (5/42). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of silicone implant displacement and incision bleeding between the two groups (χ 2=0.21, 0.10, P>0.05). Conclusions:Getting out of bed and moving around 6 hours after silicone breast augmentation surgery can help improve the patient′s physical comfort, ensure smooth fixation of the chest drainage tube, and do not increase the occurrence of incision bleeding in patients.
