Objective To discover the clinical characteristics of epilepsy in non-ketotic hyperglycaemia.Methods The clinical data of 18 patients with epilepsy in non-ketotic hyperglycaemia were studied retrospectively.Results Ten patients had recurrent episodes of seizure when glycaemic control was lost.Other eight cases had seizure as the first onset,but they were not identified diagnosis with diabetes mellitus.Glycemic levels varied from 16.8 ～ 32.1 mmol/L.Fourteen patients with focal seizures accounted for 77.8%.Seizure control occurred after insulin treatment.Conclusion Epilepsy in non-ketotic hyperglycaemia has not history of diabetes in some patients and occur epilepsy at first.Focal seizures can be seen in most patients.Insulin treatment is essential to control seizures.

AIM:To explore the effect on stability of hyperforin with different medicinal herbs and the changes of hyperforin content in herb combinations with Hypericum perforatum L.(HP).METHODS:Several common antidepressant medicinal herbs were selected separately to match with HP.The herbal samples consisted of HP group,HP with Curcuma wenyujin Y.H.Chen et C.Ling group,HP with Curcuma longa.L.group,HP with Epimedium brevicornum Maxim group and HP with Wuling powder(WY)group.The contents of hyperforin with each group were determined by reverse phase HPLC.RESULTS:The rates of extraction and retention of hyperforin in HP with Curcuma wenyujin Y.H.Chen et C.Ling group and HP with Curcuma longa.L.group were significantly lower than that of HP group.There were no obvious differences in the extraction rates of the HP group,HP with Epimedium brevicornum Maxim group and HP with WY group.The retention rate of hyperforin in HP group with WY powder was higher than that of HP group.The retention rate of hyperforin in HP with Curcuma wenyujin Y.H.Chen et C.Ling group,was lower than that of HP group.CONCLUSION:The results show that compatibility of HP with traditional Chinese medicine have effects on the stability of active herbal component.

In recently years,the incidence rate of obesity - related glomerulopathy(ORG)is increasing. Adi-pose tissue as a new endocrine organ releases inflammatory factors which can lead to glomerular artery endothelial damage,mesangial expansion and extracellular matrix accumulation and podocyte lesion,etc. Studies have confirmed that the chronic inflammation may play a key role in the pathogenesis of ORG. Now,the molecular mechanisms of chro-nic inflammation and its effect in the development of ORG were summarized.

The occurrence of 20 to 25 percent of ovarian cancer is associated with genetic factors.Hereditary ovarian cancer includes genetic ovarian cancer and familial ovarian cancer.The genetic characteristics of tumors and the development of gene testing technology make it possible to detect tumor-related mutational genes by testing the gene of the proband and thus identify the other family members at risk and intervene early so as to realize early prevention and detection of the cancer.The paper reviews the genetic basis and pathogenesis of hereditary ovarian cancer as well as methods of detecting mutational genes, management of the proband, problems at present, and disease prevention for high-risk individuals.It stresses that we should pay attention to hereditary ovarian cancer in clinical work, identify the proband, and make comprehensive evaluation of risks of the patients` relatives so as to provide individualized guidance and carry out the concept of precision medicine.

Objective This research approaches the methods of intensifying the medical clinical skills training to develop students’medical abilities in clinical practice.Methods We chose 129 seven-year medical students.They were devided into two groups in random.The con-trol group entered the clinical practice directly,while the experimental group accepted the clini-cal skill training before they entered the clinical practice.Results The examination record and qualification number of experimental group were higher than the control group obviously.After the clinical skill training,the examination record became higher than before.Conclusion The experiment shows that receiving clinical skill training before entering clinical practice is the ef-fective method of elevating medical students’clinical abilities and practical skill level.

20 yrs were screened in 5 communities of Daqing.Results The prevalent rate of diabetes was 5.10%,and its standardized prevalent rate was 5.20%,thereinto 91.89% of it was type 2 diabetes and 2.12% was IFG.With Logistic regression analysis,the results showed that the risk factors for type 2 diabetes included family history of diabetes(OR=2.133,95%CI: 1.210～3.760),hypertension(OR=3.669,1.966～5.833),high intake of sweetmeat(OR=1.770,95%CI:1.214～3.090),high intake of lipids(OR=3.222,95%CI:1.667～5.235),addiction for animal viscera(OR=2.292,95%CI:1.033～4.587),ratio of waistline vs hip circumference,coronary heart disease(OR=4.818,95%CI:2.246～6.336),history of cerebrovascular disease(OR=2.196,95%CI:1.864～5.583),hyperlipidemia(OR=2.882,95%CI:1.458～5.968),cigarette smoking(OR=1.642,95%CI:1.197～2.088),civil servant(OR=2.046,95%CI:1.722～3.633) and occupation of education & clinics(OR=2.742,95%CI:1.924～3.742). Conclusion The diabetes is related with many factors.Its harm to health of Daqing citizens is becoming more and more serious.It should be important to take efficient measures for the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases in community.

Objective To evaluate the expression of IL-6,TGF-β,matrix metalloproteinase-7 (MMP-7) in the peritoneal fluid of different stage of endometriosis (EMs) patients.Methods Peritoneal fluid samples from female without EMs (n =35) and 45 patients with EMs (36 cases with stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ;9 cases with stage Ⅲ,Ⅳ)were obtained for detectionof IL-6,TGF-β,MMP-7byELISA.Results TheconcentrationofIL-6,TGF-β,MMP-7 was (736.5 ± 526.6) ng/L,(936.5 ± 523.5)ng/L and (5.63 ± 1.98) μg/L in EMs patients,which were higher than those in control group (P ＜ 0.01).The concentration of IL-6,MMP-7 was (948.6 ± 485.4) ng/L,(8.69 ± 1.23) μg/L in stage Ⅲ,Ⅳgroup,and (453.6 ± 256.8) rng/L,(4.23 ± 1.08) μg/L in stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ group,there were significant differences between the two groups (P ＜ 0.05).The concentration of MMP-7 was positively correlated with IL-6(r =0.789,P ＜0.01),and was negatively correlated with TGF-β(r =-0.458,P ＜0.05).Conclusion IL-6,TGF-β,MMP-7 may play roles in microecology immune imbalance and the development of EMs.

Objective:To explore the characteristics of the ultraweak luminescence of human hepatocarcinoma cells(HepG2). Methods: The intensity of the ultraweak luminescence of HepG2 cells and human hepatocytes(QZG)was examined by an IFFM-D chemiluminescence instrument.The intensity of the ultraweak luminescence of HepG2 cells and human hepatocytes(QZG)were affected by different concentration of Luminol and H_(2)O_(2). Results: In 10~(-4)mol/l Luminol and 0.3% H_(2)O_(2),the intensity of the ultraweak luminescence of HepG2 cells was significantly higher than that of QZG cells(P)0.05). Conclusion:The intensity of the ultraweak luminescence of HepG2 cells is higher than that of QZG cells.The intensity of the ultraweak luminescence is affected by cell number and the concentration of Luminol and H_(2)O_(2).The ultraweak luminescence reflect functional status of tumor cells.It can become an sensitive index of physiology and metabolism of tumor cells.

Objective To study the application effect of bandage corneal contact lens in ptosis during surgical treatment.Methods A total of 62 patients(73 eyes) with primary congenital ptosis in the First People's Hospital of Xiantao from March 2013 to March 2016 were randomly divided into group A,group B and group C.All of the three groups were treated by shortening levator palpebrae superioris muscle.The A group[20 cases(24 eyes)] began to wear bandage corneal contact lens during the operation.The B group [22 cases (25 eyes)] began to wear bandage corneal contact lens at the end of surgery.And the C group [20 cases (24 eyes)] took conventional methods for covering operative eyes.Postoperative follow-up lasted for 3 months,the postoperative FL staining scores and ocular pain severity were compared among the three groups.Results Comparison of postoperative FL staining scores:there was no statistically significant difference between B group and C group at postoperative 1 day(q =0.537,P ＞ 0.05),but the differences between B group and A group were statistically significant (q =10.876,11.298,all P ＜ 0.05),the differences among the three groups were statistically significant at the 7th day after surgery (q =8.682,4.048,4.722,all P ＜ 0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between B group and A group at postoperative 2 weeks (q =1.635,P ＞ 0.05),but the differences between group A/B and group C were statistically significant (q =8.747,7.201,all P ＜ 0.05).There were no statistically significant differences among the three groups at postoperative 3 months (q =1.607,0.186,1.438,all P ＞ 0.05).Comparison of postoperative ocular pain severity:there were no statistically significant differences among the three groups at postoperative 1 day (q =0.986,0.586,0.410,all P ＞ 0.05).At postoperative 7 days,there was no statistically significant difference between A group and B group (q =0.948,P ＞ 0.05),but the differences between A/B group and C group were statistically significant (q =4.743,3.843,all P ＜ 0.05).There were no statistically significant differences among the three groups at postoperative 1 month (q =3.181,0.599,2.654,all P ＞ 0.05).Postoperative upper eyelid radian and double eyelid plasty in all of 62 cases(73 eyes) was satisfied and the width of palpebral fissure when look straight was normal and locating above superior margin of pupil,but there were 16 eyes with slightly hypophasis which were all naturally closed good after 1 to 2 months without surgical incision infection and corneal infection.Conclusion It is effective to protect the cornea since intraoperative application of bandage corneal contact lens,and it with high safety to wear corneal contact lens shortly after surgery,which can promote corneal epithelial wound healing,reducing incidence of exposure keratitis,at the same time,it can obviously relieve ocular pain in patients.
