Based on the characteristics of salt.alkalinized soil in northeastem China,twenty-five kinds of salt alkaline conditions with different salinities and pH were simulated by mixing NaCl,NaHCO3,Na2SO4,and Na2CO3,in various proportions and applied to sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) seedlings to investigate the coordinative effects of salt and alkali stresses on its antioxidant enzyme system. The soil was conditioned with a salt concentration range between 50 to 250 mmol/L and pH values from 7.12 to 10.46.Several physiological indexes of stressed seedlings were measured, including the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD),catalase (CAT),and pemxidase (POD),as well as the content of malondialdehyde (MDA).The results showed that the responses of the antioxidant enzyme system in sunflowers were influenced by salinity and alkalinity, which all three antioxidant enzymes exhibited a rise-drop pattern as salinity increased, whereas their responses to alkalinity appeared to be diverse:decreased for SOD and CAT,and increase for POD along when increasing alkalinity.A two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that the effects of salinity and alkalinity on the activities of the three enzymes were significant (P<0.001).The effect of salinity on POD and SOD was greater than that of alkalinity, whereas the effect of alkalinity on CAT was greater than that of salinity. The interrelation of salinity and alkalinity on each antioxidant enzyme was significant (P<0.001) except for SOD.The correlation and stepwise regression analyses between the activity of the antioxidant enzyme system and the MDA content were significant to difierent extend,SOD was a dominant factor, and POD was neglectable.

Objective To investigate the treatment and prevention for postoperative complications of abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA)in open surgery. Methods 329 AAA patients received open surgery from January 1991 to August 2009.The postoperative complications were analyzed retrospectively. Results 30 d mortality rate was 0.91%,the incidence of postoperative complications was 19.1%(63/329),including cardiac dysfunction in 21 cases, respiratory insufficiency in 15 cases, myocardial infarction in 6 cases, renal failure in 5 cases, arrhythmia in 6 cases, cerebral infarction in 2 cases, artery embolism of lower extremity in 2 cases, wound dehiscence in 2 cases, incisional hernia in 1 case, ecchymoma in 1 case and deep vein thrombosis in 2 cases. One patient died of acute myocardial infarction, one died of renal failure after 20 d dialysis,1 patient died of premature ventricualr contraction and fibrillation ventricular.Other patients recovered well. Conclusions Cardiac dysfunction and respiratory insufficiency are the main postoperative complications of AAA.Preoperative evaluation.careful intraoperative maneuvre and postoperative care ale the key to improve the treatment effectiveness.

Objective To investigate the place reaction of support drainage tube in cholecystojejunostomy and its pathological changes. Methods Eight pigs were randomized into 2 groups. The tube-placing cholecystojeunostomy(n=2)or choledochocholedochostomy(n=2)and non-tube-placing cholecystojejunostomy(n=2)or choledochocholedochostomy(n=2)were performed respectively. All the 8 pigs were sarcrificed 3 months after the operation for pathological examination. Results Gross anatomy catheter group showed anastomotic inflammatory hyperplasia, wall hardening hyperplasia, luminal narrow contracture and stone formation.Microscopic biopsy showed bile duct mucosa in interstitial lymphocytes, plasma cells and other chronic inflammatory cell infiltration, a large number of fibrous tissue hyperplasia. However, these features were not found in pigs without placing the tube. Conclusion The tube can not prevent the stenosis. It might promote the formation of stricture since it can stimulate inflammatory hyperplasia and tissue hardening.

Objective:
To investigate the clinical features and change trend of patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS) undergoing emergent percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).
Methods:
In this retrospective study, we retrieved all medical records of 4 907 ACS patients who underwent emergent PCI in Fuwai hospital from January 1,2010 to December 31,2016. We analyzed the clinical features and change trend in these patients. According to clinical diagnosis, patients were grouped as ST-elevated myocardial infarction(STEMI) group (3 719 cases) and NSTE-ACS group (patients with non-STEMI and unstable angina, 1 188 cases).
Results:
The ACS patients were aged (59.5±11.8) years old. There were 3 772 males and 1 135 females. The annual number of ACS patients underwent emergent PCI increased from 412 patients in 2010 to 1 067 patients in 2016. The number of NSTE-ACS patients increased from 11.4% (47/412) in 2010 to 26.5% (283/1 067) in 2016. Compared with STEMI group, patients in NSTE-ACS group were significantly older ((61.2±10.9) years old vs. (58.9±12.1) years old,
