Objective To investigate the clinical significance and abnormal expression of the CREB in different grade gliomas. Methods The expression of CREB was examined by using immunohistochemistry in brain tissues from the brain injury (5 cases) and different grade gliomas (55 cases). The mRNA and protein levels of CREB were further as?sessed using Western blot and RT-PCR in brain tissues from the patients with brain injury (10 cases) and those with dif?ferent grade gliomas (30 cases). Results The positive rates of CREB immunohistochemistry were 2/5 in control, 10/15 inⅠ-,Ⅱ11/12 in Ⅲ, 28/28 in Ⅳ. The positive rates of CREB were significantly different among different groups (H=28.183,P<0.05).The mRNA levels of CREB were 1.00 ± 0.000 in control, 1.35 ± 0.068 inⅠ-Ⅱ, 2.88 ± 0.111 in Ⅲand 3.75 ± 0.196 in Ⅳ. The expression of CREB was higher in the glioma than in control group, and the mRNA levels of CREB were significantly different among different groups(F=1.208,P<0.05). The protein levels of CREB were 0.311 ± 0.014 in control, 0.469±0.026 inⅠ-Ⅱ, 0.641±0.028 inⅢand 0.896±0.024 inⅣ. The protein levels of CREB were sig?nificantly different among different groups(F=1.123,P<0.05). Conclusion The expression of CREB is elevated in glio?mas with different differentiation degrees. The expression of CREB was positively correlated with the degree of differentia?tion, indicating that CREB may have an important regulatory role in the progress of gliomas.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of aqueous extraction of Lonicerae Flos (SYHW) on anti-influenza A virus H1N1 (H1N1 virus) in vitro. METHODS:Using Madin-Darby canine kid ney (MDCK) cells cultured in vitro by H1N1 virus, half of the tissue culture infection dose(TCID50)was calculated. Culturing MDCK cells for 24 h with different mass concentrations of SYHW,the maximum non-toxic concentration was investigated. And then test was divided into normal cell group, virus control group,SYHW preventive administration group, therapeutic administration group and direct killing group (given SYHW of maxi-mum non-toxic concentration, infecting cells by 100 TCID50 H1N1 virus),and antiviral effective rate (ER) of SYHW was deter-mined. Test was divided into normal cell group, virus control group,SYHW therapeutic group and direct killing group (the same administration and infection as above),changes of cell proliferation index (PI) and cell apoptosis rate were respectively deter-mined. RESULTS:100 TCID50 of H1N1 virus was 1.26×10-7,and the maximum non-toxic concentration of SYHW on MDCK cells was 50 μg/mL(cell survival rate was 91.3%). ERs of preventive administration group, therapeutic administration group and direct killing group were 0,80.3% and 52.7%,respectively. Compared with normal cell group,PI value in virus control group was sig-nificantly reduced (P<0.05),early and late apoptotic rates were significantly increased (P<0.05). Compared with virus control group,PI value in directly killing group was significantly increased(P<0.05),and early apoptotic rate was significantly reduced (P<0.05);early apoptotic rates in therapeutic administration group were significantly reduced (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:SY-HW shows anti-H1N1 virus effect in vitro, therapeutic administration and directly killing are preferred in antiviral effect.

Objective? To explore the effects of the establishment and application of "Five in one"stepwise psychological rehabilitation model for cancer patients. Methods? In February 2016, the Department of Chest Oncology in West China Hospital Sichuan University established "Five in One" stepwise psychological rehabilitation model: a team consisting of oncology doctors, nurses, medical social workers, sunshine nurses/psychologist and psychiatrist who provided holistic psychological management including psychological assessment, psychological education, and psychological intervention. By convenience sampling, a total of 1 402 cancer patients admitted before the establishment of the model in the hospital from August 2015 to January 2016 were selected and put into the control group. Routine nursing intervention was given to the group. Totally 1 823 cancer patients admitted from February to July in 2016 after the establishment of the model in the hospital were selected and assigned into the observation group. The "Five in One" model was adopted for the group. The two groups were compared in terms of the conditions of adverse emotions and suicide risks. Results? The incidence of adverse emotions was 29.24%, and the incidence of suicide risk was 3.92% in the control group. The incidence of adverse emotions was 10.92% and 1.76% for the suicide risk in the observation group. There were statistical differences in the incidence of adverse emotions and suicide risks between the two groups (P<0.01). Conclusions? The establishment of "Five in One" model for cancer patients can reduce cancer patients' adverse emotions and risks of suicide, and provides new ideas and methods for the management of cancer patients' psychological distress.

Objective:To investigate the status quo of nursing capacity for chronic respiratory disease in community health service centers. Methods:A questionnaire survey on nursing capacity for chronic respiratory disease was conducted in November 2018 among nurses working in internal medicine, general practice and chronic disease management departments of 4 community health service centers in Beijing Miyun District. The questionnaire included the knowledge and work content of chronic respiratory diseases. At the same time semi-structured interviews was conducted on the role of nurses in the management of chronic respiratory diseases among nurses selected by purposive sampling method. Results:In the study 63 valid questionnaires were collected and 14 nurses were interviewed. The results showed that the total score of nurses′ knowledge about chronic respiratory diseases was (62.0±14.4), and the scores of knowledge of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchial asthma and obstructive sleep apnea were (55.5±19.3), (61.0±21.6), (69.5±25.1), respectively. The total knowledge score of nurses with middle-rank professional title or above was higher than that of those with primary title [(67.0±12.9) vs. (54.0±13.6), t=-3.07, P<0.01]. The work contents mainly involved were nursing procedures(22/63,34.9%), health education(18/63,28.6%) and nursing evaluation(8/63,12.7%).Three themes were extracted from the deep interviews: the main work contents for nurses should be nursing procedures, nurses should participate in the chronic respiratory disease management as a member of the integrated medical team; nurses expected practice-oriented trainings of chronic respiratory disease management. Conclusions:The knowledge of chronic respiratory diseases among nurses in community health center needs to be improved, and the nursing skills special for respiratory diseases are needed. It is suggested to develop training courses and nursing guidelines suitable for community health centers and for nurses to participate in chronic respiratory disease management as team members, so that nurses in primary care institutions can play a better role in the management of chronic respiratory diseases.

We proposed a new stitching method based on sift features to obtain an enlarged view of transmission electron microscopic (TEM) images with a high resolution. The sift features were extracted from the images, which were then combined with fitted polynomial correction field to correct the images, followed by image alignment based on the sift features. The image seams at the junction were finally removed by Poisson image editing to achieve seamless stitching, which was validated on 60 local glomerular TEM images with an image alignment error of 62.5 to 187.5 nm. Compared with 3 other stitching methods, the proposed method could effectively reduce image deformation and avoid artifacts to facilitate renal biopsy pathological diagnosis.
