AIM　The purpose is to investigate the Anti-inflammatory mechanism of Biota orientalis. METHODS　Using rat leukocytes and rabbit platelets as experimental material the biosynthesis of leukotriene, 12-hydroxyheptadecatrienoic acid(12-HHT) and 12-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid(12-HETE) in the cells was determined with HPLC. RESULTS　Biota orientalis was shown to inhibit the biosynthesis of leukotriene B4(LTB4) and 5-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid(5-HETE) with IC50 of 0.40 and 0.41　mg/ml crude herb, respectively. It was also displayed to inhibit biosynthesis of 12-HHT in the platelets. CONCLUSION　Biota orientalis leaves contain anti-inflammatory components and the anti-inflammatory mechanism was related with inhibiting metabolism of arachidonic acid.

AIM To investigate the anti-inflammatory eff ec t of total flavonoids isolated from Platychadus orientalis and its mechanism . METHODS The inflammatory models in mice and swelling of rats hind paws were induced by dimethylbenzene and carrageenan respectivel y. The biosynthesis of leukotriene and ?-glucuronidase release in the cells we re measured by HPLC and fluorescence spectrophotometer respectively. RES ULTS Total flavonoids isolated from Platychadus orientalis remarkably inhibited the ear edema induced by dimethylbenzene in mice at the dose of 12.5 ～50.0 mg?kg -1 and the swelling of rats hind paws induced by carrageenan at the dose of 25.0～50.0 mg?kg -1 . Total flavonoids at final concentrati on of 5.0～125.0 mg?L -1 inhibited 5-HETE and LTB 4 synthesis by 30.5%～ 87.3% and 27.8%～84.3% respectively. In comparision with controls, Total flavono ids at final concentration of 5.0～45.0 mg?L -1 inhibited ?-glucuronidas e release by 13.4%～32.2%. CONCLUSION Total flavonoids isolated f rom Platychadus orientalis has an anti-inflammatory effect which may be rel ated to inhibiting 5-HETE and LTB 4 production and ?-glucuronidase release.

Objective To study TCM pattem rules of primary hyperlipemia and its relation with sex,age,body mass index(BMI).Methods A total of 1 20 patients with primary hyperlipemia were divided into 5 groups by TCM syndrome differentiation:56 patients in a group of the turbid-phlegm stagnation syndrome,35 patients in a group of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney syndrome,13 patients in a group of yin deficiency of liver and kidney,7 patients in a group of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency group,and 9 patients in a group of qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome.Statistic analysis was made on factors that may affect these syndromes,and the correlations were discussed.Results Different age showed a closer relation to the onset of primary hyperlipemia than other factors(P＜0.01):sex,clinical classification,and accompanied diseases had no relation with the five-type syndromes(P＜0.01).Conclusion TCM syndromes had a certain relation with the age of patients with primary hyperlipemia.

Objective To explore the effect of multiple-formed nursing teaching ward-round.Methods Trainings and practices about muhiple-formed nursing teaching ward-round were executed to clinical instruction teachers.Results 95.9%of nursing students were satisfied with the quality of nursing teaching ward-round.After training ang practices,the evaluation to the nursing teaching ward-round and the scores of theoretic and operation examination of nursing students raised significantly(P＜0.05).Conclusions The trainings and practices improve the teachers' ability of utilizing multiple-formed nursing teaching ward-round,which not only enhance the students' study initiative,but also improve the query of nursing teaching teaching ward-round.

Objective To investigate the main risk factors influencing the pre-hospital delay of patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) for preventing methods.Methods A retrieval was done across the epidemiologic studies on pre-hospital delay of AIS patients during 2004 to 2015 using the key words of ischemic stroke,prehospital delay,treatment delay.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,the literature was collected and the literature quality was assessed.The data were extracted for meta-analysis by RevMan software.Results Sixteen epidemiologic studies were included.Totally,there were 2,966 cases of prehospital delay and 2,468 cases of non-delay.The pooled OR values and 95％ CI by multivariate analysis were as follows:the degree of awareness of stroke was 0.5 (0.3,0.82),emergency medical service (EMS) was 0.49 (0.29,0.85),National Institute of Health Stroke scale (NHISS) score 0.58 (0.36,0.95),outpatient visit as first visit 4.28 (1.44,12.74),distance 0.76 (0.61,0.95),medical history of ischemic stroke 0.37 (0.18,0.79) (with significant differences in OR value,P＜0.05).Conclusions The protective factors for pre-hospital delay of acute ischemic stroke patients include:strengthened awareness of stroke,effective EMS,high NHISS score,short distance,medical history of ischemic stroke.The main risk factor is that their outpatient visit is their first visit for medical treatment.Therefore,we need to enhance the health education to the patients and their families about awareness of stroke,improve the use of EMS and build complete and efficient green path for the stroke patient.

The incidence of venous thromboembolism after spinal cord injury is high, and its diagnosis and prevention received much attention in clinical research in recent years. Because of the special characteristics, the prevention of venous thrombosis should be combined with basic prevention, physical prevention and drug prevention. According to the different situations of venous thromboembolism in patients with spinal cord injury, the prevention methods need to adjust to carry out multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment.

OBJECTIVE:To study the rationality of multiple-unit containers of oral drugs.METHODS:The condition of whether the oral western medicines currently used in our hospital were packaged in single-dose container or not were inves?tigated;the information on packaging and distribution of multiple-unit containers was analyzed as well.RESULT:Of the460kinds of oral western medicines investigated,220were in single-dose containers,and138were in multiple-unit containers,of the multiple-unit containers87involved problems in packaging.CONCLUSION:It is suggested that single-dose container should be used and the multiple-unit containers should be improved reasonably.

Objective To evaluate the values of visual inspection with acetic acid( VIA) and human papillomavirus( HPV) and thinprep cytology test( TCT) in the screening of cervical cancer.Methods VIA,HPV test and TCT in 946 women was conducted.Cervical biopsy or endocenical curettage( ECC) was performed in VIA positive women or HPV positive women or TCT positive women. The pathologic outcome was as the gold standard,and the out come more and equal to cervical intraepithelial neoplasia( CIN) Ⅱ were identified as positive.Results There was no significant difference among three groups in sensitivity rate( 73.l％,96.2,88.5％ ) and negative predictive value ( 99. 1％ ,99.9％ ,99.7％ ) ( all P ＞ 0.05 ).The specificity rate (97.5％ ) and positive predictive value ( 50.O％ ) of TCT was better than those of HPV ( 93.5％,29.4％ ),and HPV was better than those of VIA( 87.0％,13.7％ ),and the difference had statistifical significance among three groups ( x2 =71.34,26.00,22.17,8.28,all P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusion Although the rate of missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis rate was higher than that of HPV and TCT,but VIA seems to be appropriate methods in the screening of cervical cancer owing to its low price.

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics and the endocrine changes in children with craniopharyngioma,and to improve the pediatrician understanding of the disease.Methods The study subjects consisted of 14 children with craniopharyngioma admitted to the Department of Endocrinology,Beijing Children's Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from Jan.2004 to Dec.2012.All the patients were followed up to analyze the clinical symptoms improvement,endocrine test results and medication,et al.Results The main clinical manifestations were headache (7/14 cases,50.0％),growth retardation(4/14 cases,28.6％),vomiting (4/14 cases,28.6％),polydipsia/ polyuria (3/14 cases,21.4％) and vision diminution (3/14 cases,21.4％).Three patients didn' t undergo the surgery,and 3 cases with diabetes insipidus and 2 cases with growth hormone deficiency,and 1 case with central hypothyroidism by laboratory test.The rest 11 children received surgery and all patients had changes in endocrine after it.Five cases got polydipsia and polyuria,other 5 cases had electrolyte disturbances,and 2 cases had epilepsy.Nine patients were followed up,and the follow-up duration ranged from 5 months to 10 years [(3.29 ± 3.52) years] after surgery.Seven patients got better and 2 patients got worse.Conclusions For clinical symptoms of increased intracranial pressure,changes in endocrine,the vision and visual field,the possibility of craniopharyngioma should be taken into account.Surgery is the main treatment,but it can lead to the damage of hypothalamus and pituitary gland.Changes in endocrine,electrolyte disturbances and epilepsy are the common complications.According to the level of endocrine,longterm hormone replacement therapy for some postoperative patients should be continued.
