1.Application of case education based on the ADDIE model in nurse education
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2017;16(4):418-423
Objective To explore the effect of case teaching method based on ADDIE model in the teaching of surgical nursing. Methods Two classes of the four-year nursing specialty college students (39 students in each class, 78 students in total) in the third grade were selected as samples. According to the principle of randomization, one class was set as the observation group, and the ADDIE model based on case teaching method was adopted. According to the five stages of ADDIE model, namely, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, the whole process was performed to achieve teaching goals and timely combination of clinical cases, so that the theoretical knowledge of teaching materials and clinical reality were highly connected. The other class was set as the control group. At the end of the semester, the teaching results were evaluated based on two groups of students' test scores and questionnaire findings. SPSS13.0 software was used for statistical analysis. t-test was used to test the significance of the test results, and chi square test was used to test the significance of the survey data. The results of the two teaching methods were compared with the control group. Results The scores of the two groups were significantly higher than those of the control group [(87.0±7.1) vs (78.0±8.6), P=0.000; (93.0±2.4) vs (85.0±3.8), P=0.000]. Significantly more students in the observation group (P<0.05) were satisfied with the teaching methods used to improve the enthusiasm and initiative of learning, improve their interest in learning, broaden their knowledge, improve the effect and efficiency of learning, inspire students to think, associate, and innovate, activate classroom atmosphere, improve the ability of students to analyze and solve problems, apply theories in practice, and accurately grasp the basic concepts and theoretical knowledge. Conclusion The case teaching method based on ADDIE model can effectively improve the teaching quality of nursing courses and improve students' ability to analyze and solve problems. It is well received by students, and it can enhance teachers' teaching skills as well.

Clinical Medicine of China 2015;31(9):820-822
Objective To observe the clinical effects of Chuanxiongqingnaokeli for treatment of insomnia. Methods Eighty-two cases of insomnia patients were randomly divided into treatment group (n =42)and control group (n=40) who were treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2012 to July 2013.The treatment group was administrated Chuanxiongqingnaokeli combined with estazolam tablets while control group was administrated estazolam tablets alone. The indicators including sleep time, easy to waking, sleep time,Pittsburgh sleep quality index and hangover on next day were observed before and after treatment. Results The Pittsburgh sleep quality index of both groups were significantly lower after treatment (treatment group:14.92± 2.89 vs.3.35 ± 1.72,t =2.421,P<0.05;control group:15.20±3.02 vs.5.81±2.31 score,t=2.537,P<0.05).And the treatment effect of treatment group was better than control group(t =4.478,P<0.05).Easy to waking time of the treatment group was (1.49± 1.42) times, sleeping time was (5.78± 1.23) h,hangover on next day was 0,all these data were better than that of control group(2.54±1.56) times,(4.09±1.52) h,37.5%;P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment group was 90.5% (38/42),significantly higher than that of control group (72.5% (29/40);x2 =61.42,P <0.05).Conclusion The chuanxiongqingnaokeli has the significant effects for patients with insomnia. It has more improved in easy to waking and maintaining sleep time significantly which accompanied with advantage of relieving hangover on next day induced by sedative hypnotics at the same time.

The mechanisms of antidepressants are still unclear. There a re two classical theories on monoamine neurotransmitter or on neurotransmitter rec eptors, but both of them can not fully explain the delayed therapeutic action of antidepressants. Recently, many researches have focused on the postreceptor int racellular signal transduction as the mechanism of antidepressant action. G protein is the molecular basis of antidepressants. Neurotransmitter receptors and G protein are the two sectors of their therapeut ic action. They will ultimately influence intracellular signal transduction and result in relative effects such as phosphoration, the induction of neurotrophic factors and neurogenesis. This mechanism suggests a reasonable explanation for t he clinical delaying of antidepressants and it will do great help for the develo pment of antidepressants. It makes the design of novel, safe and more efficaciou s antidepressants possible and provides significant information for the elucidat ion of biology of depression.

Objective To investigate and analyze the perioperative nursing of patients with breast cancer, and explore the effectiveness of the application of mind map in perioperative nursing care of patients with breast cancer. Methods The cluster sampling method was employed, and 265 patients with breast cancer receiving radical mastectomy treatment from department of general surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning Medical University were gathered according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. 137 cases were assigned to test group (May 2014 to April 2015), and 128 cases were assigned to control group (May 2013 to April 2014 ). Nursing work was improved by establishing research group, discussing the design of perioperative nursing mind map and applying mind maps. Effect was evaluated by evaluating the incidence of postoperative complications in patients with breast cancer, the quality of patient′s life and the patient′s satisfaction. Results The incidence of bleeding, seroma, flap necrosis, upper extremity swelling and other postoperative complications of patients with breast cancer in test group was 26.28%(36/128),and that in control group was 73.44%(94/137). The differences between the two groups were of statistical significance (χ2=58.891, P<0.01). The perioperative survival quality scores of physiology, society/family, emotions, function, additions and total in the test group were (2.43 ± 1.09), (2.64±0.97), (2.85±0.97), (2.43±1.09), (2.22±1.12),(2.34±1.13), and that in the control group were (1.89± 1.09), (1.89 ± 1.06), (1.78 ± 0.92), (1.89 ± 1.09), (1.76 ± 1.05), (2.00 ± 1.09)respectively. The differences between the two groups were statistically significant (t=4.664-10.829,P<0.01). The proportion of patient satisfaction in test group was 94.89%(130/137),and that in control group was 82.03%(105/128), respectively. The differences between the two groups were statistically significant (χ2=10.900, P < 0.01). Conclusions Application of mind map in nursing intervention is able to help nurses to grasp the key content and direction of perioperative nursing on patients with breast cancer. More importantly, not only can it improved patients′quality of life and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, but also increases patients′satisfaction.

Objective To investigate the changes of plasma free carnitine (FC) concentrations in preterm infants supplemented with L-carnitine, and to provide a reference for routine preterm infants L-carnitine supplements. Methods A total of 99 preterm infants supplemented with 10 mg/(kg·d) L-carnitine on days 2 and 5 after birth, and 65 full term infants from Department of Neonatology, the Fifth People′s Hospital of Dongguan during July 2014 to December 2015 were recruited in this study , and filter-paper blood spots were collected by heel prick on days 1, 3 and 7. FC was measured using electron spray ionization (ESI) tandem mass spectrometry (MS-MS). Results Concentrations of FC decreased steadily from day 1 to day 7 in full term infants , while it remained the same level during the first week after birth as at birth. Additionally, concentrations of FC were significantly higher in preterm infants than full term infants on day 1 after birth. Conclusions The reasonable L-carnitine supplements may keep the levels of plasma FC at the levels at birth , which is important for fatty acid metabolism in preterm infants.
