Objective To evaluate the clinical application of 2000 ArthroCare System in knee arthroscopic surgery. Methods 221 cases of knee problems were treated with 2000ArthroCare System. The disorders of the 221 cases diagnosed by the arthroscopy were as follows: 73 cases of osteoarthritis, 49 meniscus tear, 29 degenerative cartilage injury, 11 plica synovitis, 11 Kaschin Beck disease, 8 ACL, 5 osteochondritis dissecans, and 2 TKA brisement. The operative procedures, such as meniscectomy, meniscoplasty, fitting of cartilage and ligament, synovectomy, and release of lateral patellar retinaculum, were done with 2000ArthroCare System and arthroscopy. Results The Lysholm Knee scores were 43.92 preoperatively, 81.96 three months postoperatively, and 92.06 six months postoperatively. Conclusion Knee problems can be effectively released with 2000 ArthroCare system vaporization under arthroscopic guidance. The advantages of this procedure are very limited tissue damage, mild reaction, less blood loss, early rehabilitation, and fine functional recovery.

OBJECTIVE To assess the association of SLC12A3 and SCNN1B gene polymorphisms (rs11643718 and rs12447134) with essential hypertension among ethnic Koreans from Mudanjiang, China. METHODS For 204 patients with essential hypertension and 186 healthy controls, the genotypes of rs11643718 and rs12447134 loci were determined with an improved multiplex ligase detection reaction (iMLDR) method. RESULTS Allelic and genotypic frequencies of rs11643718 of SLC12A3 gene are associated with the onset of disease hypertension (P <0.05) as well as systolic blood pressure (P < 0.01, under a recessive model). No association was found between rs12447134 of SCNN1B gene with the onset of disease (P > 0.05) but diastolic blood pressure (P < 0.05, under a recessive model). CONCLUSION The polymorphisms of rs11643718 locus is associated with the susceptibility for essential hypertension among ethnic Koreans from Mudanjiang area and can be used as a predictor for the disease.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of"three modulation acupuncture"combined with repeated functional magnetic stimulation(rFMS)in the treatment of neurogenic bladder with detrusor muscle weakness after spinal cord injury.Methods A total of 120 patients with neurogenic bladder with detrusor muscle weakness after spinal cord injury were divided into conventional treatment group,"three modulation acupuncture"treatment group,rFMS treatment group and comprehensive treatment group according to the random number table method,with 30 patients per group.The conventional treatment group was given conventional rehabilitation treatment,the"three modulation acupuncture"treatment group was treated with"three modulation acupuncture"(modulating spirit,modulating reflex arc,and modulating lower jiao and waterway)based on conventional rehabilitation treatment,the rFMS treatment group was treated with rFMS based on conventional rehabilitation treatment,and the comprehensive treatment group was treated with"three modulation acupuncture"and rFMS based on conventional rehabilitation treatment.The first desire to void(FDV),maximum cystometric capacity(MCC),maximum detrusor pressure of urine storage period(Pdet.max),maximum intravesical pressure of urine storage period(Pves.max),average daily urination frequency,average daily urine leakage,residual urine volume,and neurogenic bladder symptom scores of the patients were compared before and after treatment,and the clinical effectiveness of each group was evaluated.Results After treatment,the FDV,MCC,and Pdet.max of the four groups were all increased compared with those before treatment,and Pves.max,the average daily urination frequency,the average daily frequency of urine leakage,the residual urine volume,and the neurogenic bladder symptom scores were all decreased(P<0.05).After treatment,the FDV,MCC,and Pdet.max of the"three modulation acupuncture"treatment group,the rFMS treatment group and the comprehensive treatment group were all higher than those of the conventional treatment group,and Pves.max,the average daily urination frequency,the average daily frequency of urine leakage,the residual urine volume,and the neurogenic bladder symptom scores were all lower(P<0.05).After treatment,the comprehensive treatment group had a higher FDV,MCC,and Pdet.max than the"three modulation acupuncture"treatment group and rFMS treatment group,and Pves.max,the average daily urination frequency,the average daily frequency of urine leakage,the residual urine volume,and the neurogenic bladder symptom scores were lower(P<0.05).The curative efficiency rates were 86.2%(25/29)in the"three modulation acupuncture"treatment group,85.7%(24/28)in the rFMS treatment group,and 92.6%(25/27)in the comprehensive treatment group,which was higher than that of the conventional treatment group,which was 75.9%(22/29).Conclusion"Three modulation acupuncture"and rFMS can effectively improve the functional status of the bladder in patients of neurogenic bladder with detrusor muscle weakness after spinal cord injury,and their combined application has a synergistic effect.

Objective: To analyze the association between fine particulate matter (PM2.5) exposure in the air and dyslipidemia among primary school students, in order to provide the evidencebased support for the prevention and control of chronic diseases in children. Methods: The random sampling method was used to select 625 students from two primary schools in Anhui Province and Tianjin City from May to June 2024. Based on the home address, the annual average exposure levels of PM2.5 were obtained in 3 years before investigation, 2 years before investigation, and the past year before investigation. Fasting blood samples were collected for the detection of total cholesterol, triglycerides (TG), highdensity lipoprotein cholesterol and lowdensity lipoprotein cholesterol. Linear regression modeling was used to analyze the association between PM2.5 exposure and dyslipidemia among primary school students. Results: The rate of dyslipidemia among primary school students was 14.72% in the present study. The results of linear regression analysis showed that the TG increased by 0.019(95%CI=0.012-0.025)，0.023(95%CI=0.016-0.030) and 0.021(95%CI=0.014-0.027) mmol/L for every 1 μg/m3 increase of PM2.5 in the past year before investigation, 2 years before investigation and 3 years before investigation respectively (P<0.05). The results of binary Logisitic analysis showed that the risks of dyslipidemia in primary school students were positively correlated with PM2.5 mass concentration in the past year before investigation, 2 years before investigation, and 3 years before investigation [OR(95%CI)=1.06(1.02-1.11), 1.06(1.01-1.12), 1.06(1.01-1.11), P<0.05]. Conclusions PM2.5 exposure is associated with increased risk of dyslipidemia among primary school students. To protect the health of primary school students, effective measures should be taken to improve air quality.

Objective To analyze the risk factors of adverse cardiac events in adults with acute myocarditis during hospitalization and provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods A restrospective study was conducted in 80 patients (54 males and 26 females) with acute myocarditis over 18 years old admitted to our hospital between January 2007 and December 2016.Major adverse cardiac events (MACE) were defined as death,cardiac arrest,cardiogenic shock and ventricular fibrillation.According to whether MACE occurred during hospitalization,patients were divided into two groups:the MACE group and the non-MACE group.The differences between the two groups were compared,and the risk factors were analyzed by logistic regression.Results There were 12 patients in the MACE group and 68 patients in the non-MACE group.The age of patients in the two groups was similar.Compared with the non-MACE group,the proportion of female patient in the MACE group was higher (66.7％ vs 26.5％,P=0.015),and the systolic pressure (mmHg) was lower at admission (89.75±17.63 vs 112.49±16.35,P＜0.01),and the heart rate (beats/min) was faster (106.42±24.39 vs 82.66±20.92,P=0.001);ALT and creatinine levels in the MACE group were higher (P＜0.01),while the levels of TnI,CK-MB,CK and LDH were significantly higher (P＜0.05).The LVEF value of the MACE group was significantly lower at admission (45％ vs 60％,P=0.022),and the proportion of LVEF ＜ 50％ was also higher (58.3％ vs 19.1％,P=0.008) The proportion of prolonged QRS wave (＞120 ms) was significantly higher in the MACE group (75％ vs 17.6％,P＜0.01).In the MACE group,the proportion of diuretics and vasoactive drugs (dopamine,norepinephrine,and adrenaline) was higher (66.7％ vs 25％,91.7％ vs 4.4％,66.7％ vs 0,75％ vs 0％,all P＜0.01);the proportion of glucocorticoids and immunoglobulin was higher (33.3％ vs 8.8％,P=0.038;33.3％ vs 4.4％,P=0.008),and the proportion of ventilator,CRRT,ECMO and IABP were also higher (50％vs 1.5％,33.3％ vs 0,25％ vs 0％,25％ vs 0％,all P＜0.01).Logistic regression analysis showed that the OR value of MACE in female patients during hospitalization was 5.56 (95％CI:1.49-20.71,P=0.011).The OR value of MACE in patients with reduced LVEF at admission was 5.92 (95％CI:1.62-21.67,P=0.007).The OR value of MACE in patients with prolonged QRS wave was 14.00 (95％CI:3.29-59.55,P＜0.01).Conclusions Female patients,LVEF＜50％ at admission,and prolonged QRS wave (QRS＞120 ms) are independent risk factors for MACE in adult patients with acute myocarditis during hospitalization.

Objective To investigate the effects of IL-10/TGF-β-modified macrophages on renal ischemia reperfusion injury (IRI).Methods Bone marrow-derived macrophages were modified ex vivo by IL-10/TGF-β to acquire M2c (a subset of activated macrophages).M2c were transferred into treated C57BL/6 mice by a single tail-vein injection at 6 h after renal IRI.Mice were killed on the day 3 after renal IRI.Blood samples were collected to check renal function.Kidneys were harvested to determine tubular necrosis and apoptosis by H&E staining and TUNEL assay.Immunofluorescence was performed to analyze the proliferating tubular cell nuclear antigen.Meanwhile,proinflammatory cytokines and regulatory T cells in renal tissues were analyzed with real-time PCR and flow cytometry.Results In comparison with M1,M2c expressed lower levels of MHC Ⅱ (P＜0.01),CD86 (P＜ 0.01),TNFα (P＜0.01) and IL-1β (P＜0.01) and higher level of IL-10 (P＜0.01).M2c significantly attenuated renal functional decline (P＜0.01 or 0.05),structural injury (P＜0.05),apoptosis of tubular cells (P＜0.01) and inflammation factors infiltration (P＜0.01 or 0.05).What's more,the cells could promote tubular cells proliferation (P＜0.05) and regulatory T cells expression (P＜0.01).Conclusion Our results demonstrated that M2c macrophages effectively protect against renal IRI and may become a therapeutic strategy for renal IRI.
