Objective To investigate the influence of Jianpi Bufei Huatan Recipe (JBHR), a Chinese herbal compound with the actions of strengthening spleen, tonifying lung and resolving phlegm, on the pulmonary function of childhood bronchial asthma at remission stage, and to explore the possible therapeutic mechanism. Methods Sixty bronchial asthma children at remission stage were divided into treatment group and control group, 30 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with inhalation of fluticasone propionate, and additionally, the treatment group was given oral use of JBHR(mainly composed of Radix Astragali, Radix Pseudostellariae, fried Rhizoma Atrctylodis Macrocephalae, Radix Saposhnikoviae, Poria, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Rhizoma Pinelliae, prepared Radix Glycyrrhizae, calcined Os Draconis, calcined Concha Ostreae, and Semen Lepidii seu Descurainiae). The therapeutic effect of the two groups was evaluated after treatment, and the changes of peak expiratory flow(PEF), peak expiratory flow variation(PEFv) were also observed after treatment for 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, a nd 12 month(s). Results (1)The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%, and that of the control group was 83.33%, the difference being significant(P<0.05). (2) During the treatment, PEF was higher and PEFv was lower in the treatment group than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion JBHR could relieve the clinical symptoms, improve the pulmonary function and decrease the hyperactivity of airway of pediatric bronchial asthma at remission stage with lung-spleen qi deficiency.

Objective To observe the effect of cardiac massage by subdiaphragmatic compression (D-CPR) on the length of time required from cardiac arrest (CA) to restoration of spontaneous circulation (ROSC),hemodynamics,rate of ROSC,survival rate of 6 h,level of Caspase3 in myocardial cells and apoptosis index (AI) of myocardial cells and compare the effect of standard cardiac massage by chest compression (S-CPR) on those variables in order to choose the more effective resuscitation method for the patient with CA during abdomen operations.Methods A total of 32 healthy New Zealand rabbit were randomly (random number) divided into two groups,namely S-CPR group and D-CPR group (n =16 in each group).All of rabbits were anesthetized with ketamine and Shumianxin (a kind of hypnotics) by intraperitoneal injection,subsequently tracheotomy was made for endotracheal intubation,and right internal jugular vein was catheterized for monitoring central venous pressure (CVP) and left common carotid artery was for indwelling cannula to monitor arterial blood pressure.Lead-2 of ECG was placed.After laparotomy and vital signs of rabbits stabilized for 5 minutes,the endotracheal tube was clamped at the end expiration for 8 minutes to make asphyxial cardiac arrest model.The effects of two different methods were observed and compared in respects of changes in hemodynamics、length of time elapsed from CA to ROSC、ROSC rate and the survival rate in 6 h.The level of Caspase3 in myocardial cells and AI of myocardial cells were detected by using immunohistochemistry staining method and TUNEL,respectively 6 hours after successful resuscitation.Results ①The length of time consumed fiom CA to ROSC in D-CPR group was shorter than that in S-CPR group (P ＜0.05) ②Coronary perfusion pressure (CPP) and MAP 15 minutes after CPR were higher in D-CPR group than those in S-CPR group (P ＜ 0.05).③SBP and DBP after ROSC were higher in D-CPR group than those in S-CPR group.④ROSC rate in D-CPR group was significantly higher than that in S-CPR group (81％ vs.43％,P ＜0.05).⑤Survival rate in 6h in D-CPR group was substantially higher than that in S-CPR group (75％ vs.25％,P ＜ 0.05).⑥HE staining showed that severe myocardial damage manifesting in edema of myocardial cell,indistinguishable cell boundary,and patchy necrosis with infiltration of scanty inflammatory cells were found in S-CPR group.While in D-CPR group,mild myocardial damage in form of slight cellular edema and distinctive cell boundary was observed.⑦Level of Caspase3 in myocardial cells in terms of integrated optical density (IOD) of postive Caspase3 cells was substantially lower in D-CPR group than that in S-CPR group (P ＜ 0.05).⑧Apoptosis index (AI) of cells was lower in D-CPR group than that in S-CPR group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions ①The hemodynamics in D-CPR group was more stable than that in S-CPR.group,and D-CPR increased CPP,MAP,ROSC rate and survival rate in 6h,improving achievement of successful resuscitation.②D-CPR was more effective in terms of shortening the length of time for restoration of spontaneous circulation、decreasing level of Caspase3 in myocardial cells、decreasing apoptosis index of myocardial cells and ameliotating myocardial damage from ischemic repeffusion injury.

Objective:To survey the effect of the Dureping Injection on the kinetic change of nitrous oxide(NO) in macrophage infected by the influenza virus FM1 strain.Methods:The murinal celiac macrophage(Ana-1) was infected by the virus,add the different concentration of the drug in the supernatant of the macrophage for 6 h,12 h,24 h and 36 h.The level of the NO in the supernatant was measured by the method of traditional Griess.Ana-1 cell line was infected by influenza virus FM1 strain,then treated with Dureping Injection 1 ?g/ml for 24 h.The cells were then collected,mRNA was extracted and the expression of NF-?B p65 was measured by RT-PCR;The nuclear protein was extracted and the expression of NF-?B p65 measured by Western blot.Results:60 ?g/ml,30 ?g/ml,10 ?g/ml and 1 ?g/ml group of Dureping Injection down-regulated amount of NO secreted by the Ana-1 cells infected by virus,and it was showed in dose relationship significantly;1 ?g/ml group of Dureping Injection down-regulated the expression of the NF-?B p65 mRNA and protein.Conclusion:Dureping Injection has an obvious effect against influenza virus FM1 strain by depressing the activity of NF-?B,which prevents the production of NO secreted by Ana-1 cells infected by the virus.

Objective To explore the application value of Carbon Nanoparticles followed by microscale Methylthioninum Chloride in sentinel lymph node biopsy for breast cancer.Methods Two hundred and eight breast cancer patients were selected in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University during recent two years who performed sentinel lymph node biopsy.They were randomly divided into five groups according to different lymphatic tracer injected:Sequential group (A group,128 patients),Carbon Nanoparticles group (B group,44 patients) and Methylthioninum Chloride group (C group,36 patients).According to different Methylthioninum Chloride doses,sequential groups were randomly divided into low dose group (A1 group,48 patients),middle dose group (A2 group,42 patients),high dose group (A3 group,38 patients),If sentinel lymph nodes were negative no longer performed axillary lymph nodes dissection.Receive the five groups statistics of detection rate,the condition of lymphatic tracer,the incidence of local skin irritation and so on.Results (1) The detection rate of A,B and C three groups had no obvious difference.The incidence of lymphatic tracer dyed not ideal in B group was higher than A and B two groups,the incidence of local skin stimulation in C group was higher than A and B two groups.(2) A1,A2,A3,three groups had no difference of the detection rate and lymphatic tracer,but the incidence of local skin stimulation in A3 group is higher than A1,A2 two groups.3.5 groups of SLN detection rate had no relationship with patients' age,BMI,tumor size,tumor location,tumor molecular classification factors (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions Carbon Nanoparticles followed by microscale Methyhhioninum Chloride detection rate was similar with two separate application,but can reduce the lymphatic vessels not developing situation when used Carbon Nanoparticles alone and reduce the local irritation caused by large dose of Methylthioninum Chloride,so it can be a good choice of SLNB in clinical.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of Compound pueraria tablets on the kidney tissues of diabetic nephropathy rats. METHODS:High sugar and lipid diet combined with intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin were used to establish the model of diabetic nephropathy (DN). Normal control group was established. Model rats were randomly divided into model control group, positive control group(Irbesartan tablet),Compound pueraria tablets low-dose,medium-dose and high-dose [0.102,0.203,0.406 g/(kg·d)] groups(n were 8-10). The corresponding drugs were given,and fasting blood glucose(FBG)and 24 h urinary protein (Upro) were collected at 1st,14th,28th,42nd,56th day after treatment. SCr,BUN,TC,TG and KI were detected,and renal pathology was observed after the last dose. RESULTS:Compared with normal group,FBG of those groups were all increased after modeling,and 24 h Upro of them were all increased after 28th day (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Compared with model control group, FBG of Compound pueraria tablets medium-dose and high-dose groups were all decreased since 42nd day (P<0.05 or P<0.01), and 24 h Upro of Compound pueraria tablets groups were all decreased since 28th day(P<0.05 or P<0.01);BUN,TC,TG and KI of Compound pueraria tablets in medium-dose and high-dose groups were all decreased significantly,and SCr of 3 dose groups were all increased (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The morphological structure of renal cells was improved significantly in drug treatment groups. CONCLUSIONS:Compound pueraria tablets can correct lipid metabolism disorder,reduce Upro and improve renal func-tion,indicating certain protective effect on the kidney tissues of diabetic nephropathy rats.

OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of Compound pueraria tablets on osteoporosis model rats induced by retinoic acid. METHODS:The osteoporosis model was induced by intragastric administration of retinoic acid solution for 15 days;normal group was established. After modeling,the rats were randomly divided into model control group,Xianling gubao capsule [0.32 g/(kg·d)] positive control group,Compound pueraria tablets low-dose and high-dose [0.24,0.4 g/(kg·d)] groups (n=8). After 6 weeks of ig,the serum sample was collected to determine the levels of serum calcium(s-Ca),serum phosphorus(s-P),ALP and bone gla protein (BGP);bone density instrument was used to detect the contents of bone mineral density (BMD),bone mineral content (BMC),bone image area (BIA) and muscle content (MC);the results of compact bone substance scanning were observed. RE-SULTS:Compared with normal group,the levels of s-Ca,BMD,BMC and MC in rats were decreased in model control group, while the level of BGP was increased(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Compared with model control group,related index and compact bone substance scanning of Compound pueraria tablets groups were all improved;the levels of s-Ca,s-P,ALP,BMD and MC were in-creased in Compound pueraria tablets high-dose group,while the level of BGP was decreased;the levels of BMD and MC were in-creased significantly in Compound pueraria tablets low-dose group(P<0.05 or P<0.01). CONCLUSIONS:Compound pueraria tab-lets can improve the osteoporosis induced by retinoic acid in rats.

Objective:To evaluate the heart hemodynamics in fetuses with premature ductus arteriosus constriction or closure using fetal heart quantification (FHQ).Methods:The clinical data of 50 singleton fetuses with ductus arteriosus constriction ( n=35) or ductus arteriosus closure ( n=15) who underwent echocardiography in Department of Ultrasound, Beijing Anzhen Hospital were retrospectively analyzed, from May 2013 to January 2020. Fifty healthy singleton fetuses were randomly selected as the control group. The ductus arteriosus diameter (DA), pulsatility index (PI), diameter of the left atrium(LA) and right atrium(RA), diameter of the left ventricle (LV) and right ventricle (RV), tricuspid regurgitation/right atrium area ratio (TR/RA Ratio), pressure gradient of tricuspid regurgitation (PG of TR), and heart/chest ratio were measured using conventional fetal echocardiography; the correlations among the parameters were analyzed. Speckle-tracking analysis was used to analysis and compute the LV and RV global spherical index (GSI), fractional area change (FAC) and global strain (GS), the LV ejection fraction(EF) and stroke volume (SV). These variables and their correlations were compared and analyzed. Results:Compared with the control group, the GS and FAC of the LV and RV in the ductus arteriosus constriction or closure groups were lower ( P<0.05) while the LV-SV was higher ( P<0.05). The FAC, GS, and EF values of the LV were higher in the premature ductus arteriosus closure group than in the ductus arteriosus constriction group ( P<0.05), while the RV-FAC was lower ( P<0.05), the RV-GS and LV-SV showed no significant changes ( P>0.05). Correlation analyse showed that the PI was positively correlated with DA( r=0.364, P<0.05); the PG of TR was negatively correlated with DA( r=-0.414, P<0.05); the TR/RA Ratio was negatively linearly correlated with PI( r=-0.388, P<0.05), and positively correlated with RV/LV Ratio ( r=0.369, P<0.05); the other parameters were not significantly correlated with the DA or PI ( P>0.05). Conclusions:Fetal heart hemodynamics in the premature ductus arteriosus constriction or closure groups change significantly, FHQ can provide valuable information for the evaluation of the fetal heart with ductus arteriosus constriction or closure.

Objective To study the changes of hearing function and cochlear morphology on diffuse brain in-jury model in rat .Methods One hundred and fifty SD rats with normal hearing were randomly divided into five groups ,each group consisted of 30 SD rats ,including a control group and four experimental groups which endured diffuse brain injury(DBI) from one to four weeks .Diffuse brain injury model of rats were established ,then ABR , 40 Hz AERP and ASSR examination ,light microscopy ,electron microscopy were used to evaluate the change of hearing function and morphology .Results The difference of ABR ,40 Hz AERP and ASSR thresholds between the experimental and the normal control group were significant (P<0 .05) .The thresholds of ABR ,40HzAERP and AS-SR were increased in the first week of DBI ,then the threshold continuously increased in the second and third week , at last the threshold decreased in the fourth week .The results under scaning electron microscope demonstrated that the ciliums of the majority of outer hair cells lodged in the first week of DBI .The results under transmission electron microscope showed that in the first week of DBI ,there were edema and denuration of mitochondrial ,mitochondrial cristaes were obscured or disappeared .The changes were deteriorate in the second and third week ,whereas the changes were mitigatal in the fourth week .Conclusion Cochlear morphology and hearing damage were observed in diffuse brain injury model of rats .

Objective To evaluate the long-term effect of hepatic arterial embolization with pingyangmycin-lipiodol emulsion (PLE) in patients with cavernous hemangiomas of the liver (CHL)and its influence factors.Methods One hundred and fifty-six hemangiomas that were diagnosed by imaging examinations or confirmed pathologically by surgery in 105 patients with integral follow-up data were analyzed retrospectively in this paper.All hemangiomas were divided into 4 groups according to their size (the largest size of hemangioma)by the authors as follows; A group(≤3 cm, n=25); B group(>3 cm and<5 cm, n =32) ;C group(≥5 cm and<10 cm, n=58); and D group(> 10 cm, n=41) .According to the number of abnormal sinusoids filled with the contrast medium in the angiography, 156 hemangiomas of this series were further classified as three types: abundant type (n=90) ; sparse type (n=9) and the middle type (n=57) .Hepatic arterial embolization with PLE was performed in the 105 patients with total 135 procedures (including single procedure in 75 patients, twice procedures in 30 patients).All of the 105 patients were followed up 3 to 8 years(mean 4 years) using US, CT or MRI or DSA.The criteria for the evaluation of curative effect were classified as best, good, recovery and no change in this series, and the sum of best and good effects were defined as the total effective rate.Then, the total effective rate of single procedure between the A, B groups and C, D groups; and the total effective rate of single procedure and twice procedures in the D groups, were compared statistically by X~2 test respectively.And the influence factors, included of the variant size of hemangiomas, abundant or sparse of abnormal sinusoids and the number of treatment procedures, were also analyzed and evaluated respectively.Results The total effective rate of the 156 hemangiomas in 105 patients was 92.95% (145/156).After single procedure of hepatic arterial embolization with PLE, the total effective rate of A and B groups were 100% (57/57), that of C and D groups were 85.86% (85/99), and the difference reach significant (X ~2=8.8553, P<0.01).In the D group, the total effective rate in group with twice procedures (100.00%,30/30) was significant higher (X~2 =5.2642,P<0.05) than those of group with single procedure (72.73%,8/11).Of this series, during the period of following-up, no recurrent or severe complications were observed.Conclusions A best long-term curative effect (complete cure) is usually obtained in the small hemangiomas with abundant abnormal sinusoids, and a satisfactory long-term curative effect can also be achieved in the larger or multiple hemangiomas, particularly in those hemangiomas with abundant abnormal sinusoids by using the repeat procedures of hepatic arterial embolization with PLE.
