Objective To investigate the electrophysiological characteristics of neurons in developing visual cortex and to observe the reciprocal connection and the function of integration between adjacent neurons. Methods Whole cell recordings of the visual cortex from SD rats (4~28 d old) were obtained by using "blind" whole cell patch clamp recording technique. Bipolar stimulating electrodes were placed in the white border under the visual cortex. Postsynaptic currents(PSCs) were evoked by using stimulation of 0 1 Hz. Results There were three types of PSCs recorded in 156 cells in the first developmental month: irresponse, monosynaptic response and polysynaptic response. The incidence of polysynaptic PSCs increased from 12 36% before eye opening to 31 34% after eye opening ( P

Objective To know the stability of 3 kinds of traditional Chinese drug injection with different solvent under different temperature and different storage time, and then reference to safty of clinical durgs. Methods Use particle analyzer,UV SpectropHotometer,pH Determination of three traditional Chinese medicine injection,at different temperatures and different times, the nuanber of particles,pH value, the value of UV absorbance Observe changes. Results The records of experimental data by repeated measures analysis of statistics: Ciwujia Injection,Aidi injection combined with normal saline solution after the particles of ≥ 10μm excess pharmacopoeia standards; ≥ 2μm number of particles is considerable,in the 32~35℃,Ciwujia at T=O min Aidi at T=I80 min ,the number of particles are smaller and with statistical significance, its pH value of the standard range. Xuesaitong injection with glucose injection ≥ 10μm particulate mixture at a higher temperature in excess of pH annacopoeia standards, number of ≥ 2 μm particles in the 4~8℃ and 20~23℃,T=30 min and 60 min time less with statistical significance, and its range of pH value less than pHarmacopoeia. Three kinds of Chinese medicine in the Department's largest UV absorbance peak value and appearance almost unchanged. Conclusions Different drugs in their relative Suggestions of temperature, time and place under intravenous drug use,or better terminal filter,in order to improve the safety of clinical medication.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2003;20(2):325-327
A brief comment on the current methods of detecting QRS complexes from ECG(electrocardiogram) including the wavelet transform method is given, and the shortcomings of those methods are discussed. A simple and effective new approach for detecting QRS complexes based on histogram is developed and presented in this paper with a description of the theory of histogram and the match principle for detecting QRS complexes. This new method is checked up on the data from the MIT/BIH ECG database and that from the Beijing Polytechnic University Hospital.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2012;26(13):601-602
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the value of CT and MRI in diagnosing the children with sensorineural hearing loss.
METHOD:
Ninety-six cases suspected as severe sensorineural hearing loss were examined by CT/MRI system and 3D reconstruction.
RESULT:
Of 96 cases, 15 cases were found malformation these malformation included Michel, cochlear hypoplasia, commun cavity, Mondini, inner canal straitness, cochlear nerve undeveloped and vestibular aqueduct enlargements.
CONCLUSION
There are 15.63% inner ear malformation occurred in sensorineural hearing loss children. CT and MRI of inner ear have a great clinical value in diagnosing children sensorineural hearing loss by learning the anatomy.

BACKGROUNDEndostar™ (rh-endostatin, YH-16) is a new recombinant human endostatin developed by Medgenn Bioengineering Co. Ltd., Yantai, Shandong, P.R.China. Pre-clinical study indicated that YH-16 could inhibit tumor endothelial cell proliferation, angiogenesis and tumor growth. Phase I and phase II studies revealed that YH-16 was effective as single agent with good tolerance in clinical use.The current study was to compare the response rate , median ti me to progression (TTP) ,clinical benefit andsafety in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer ( NSCLC) , who were treated with YH-16 plus vi-norelbine and cisplatin (NP) or placebo plus NP.
METHODSFour hundred and ninety-three histologically or cy-tologically confirmed stage IIIB and IV NSCLC patients , withlife expectancy > 3 months and ECOG perform-ance status 0-2 , were enrolledin a randomized ,double-blind ,placebo-controlled , multicenter trial ,either trialgroup : NP plus YH-16 (vinorelbine 25 mg/m² on day 1 and day 5 ,cisplatin 30mg/m² on days 2 to 4 , YH-167.5mg/m² on days 1 to 14) or control group : NP plus placebo (vinorelbine 25 mg/m² on day 1 and day 5 ,cis-platin 30 mg/m² on days 2 to 4 ,0.9% sodium-chloride 3 .75 ml on days 1 to 14) every 3 weeks for 2-6 cycles .The trial endpoints included response rate ,clinical benefit rate ,time to progression, quality of life and safety .
RESULTSOf 486 assessable patients , overall response rate was 35.4% in trial group and 19.5% in controlgroup (P=0 .0003) . The median TTP was 6 .3 months and 3 .6 months for trial group and control group respectively (P < 0 .001) . The clinical benefit rate was 73 .3 %in trial group and 64.0% in control group (P=0 .035) .In untreated patients of trial group and control group ,the response rate was 40 .0% and 23.9%(P=0 .003) ,the clinical benefit rate was 76 .5 % and 65 .0 % (P=0 .023) ,the median TTP was 6 .6 and 3 .7months (P=0 .0000) ,respectively .In pretreated patients of trial group and control group ,the response ratewas 23.9% and 8.5%(P=0 .034) ,the clinical benefit rate was 65.2% and 61.7%(P=0 .68) ,the median TTP was 5 .7 and 3 .2 months (P=0 .0002) ,respectively . The relief rate of clinical symptoms in trial groupwas higher than that of those in control group ,but no significance existed (P > 0 .05) . The score of quality oflife in trial group was significantly higher than that in control group (P=0 .0155) after treatment . There were no significant differences in incidence of hematologic and non-hematologic toxicity , moderate and severe sideeffects betweentrial group and control group .
CONCLUSIONSThe addition of YH-16 to NP regimen results in significantly and clinically meaningful improvement in response rate , median time to tumor progression, and clinical benefit rate compared with NP alone in advanced NSCLC patients . YH-16 in combination with chemotherapy shows a synergic activity and a favorable toxic profile in advanced cancer patients .

Objective To carry out the function evaluation and clinical adaptation service of assistive devices for a bilateral wrist-palm disarticulation case in the framework of International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF). Methods By evaluating dysfunction and actual demand of the case, assistive devices were selected and applied in daily living, home, education and employment to achieve corresponding accessibility in activities and participation. Results and Conclusion The framework of ICF is important in evaluation of limb dysfunction and adaptation of assistive devices.
