Cancer Research and Clinic 2015;27(2):132-135
The Brachyury gene (T-gene) and its coded product Brachyury potein which belong to T-box transcription factor family, are critical in the development of mesoderm and formation of notochord.Recent researches show accumulating evidences of its important role in tumorigenesis and cancer progression. The mechanisms involved may include epithelial-mesenchymal transition, cancer stem cells, cell cycles, senescence and resistance of conventional radiotherapy or chemotherapy.

3.Inhibition of xathine oxidase by renierol extracted from South China Sea sponge
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1982;0(01):-
Objective:To study the inhibition of xanthine oxidase by renierol extracted from South China Sea sponge and study the influence of renierol on hyperuricemia in mice. Methods: After extracted from South China Sea sponge,renierol(20,40,60 ?g/ml) was added to a system containing xanthine oxidase(0.1 ?/ml) and xanthine(50 ?mol/ml);allopurinol((1 ?g/ml))was also addded to the system as positive control. The 5 min-fomation of superoxide anions was used to determine the activity of xanthine oxidase(Nitro Blue Btetrazolium reduction).Renierol(20,40,60 ?g/ml) was added to 25℃ pre-heated pyrogallol autoxidation to observe its eliminating effect on free radicals through determining the absorbance rate at 420 nm wavelength.Potassium oxonate,a uricase inhibitor, was used to induce hyperuricemia in mice and the mice were then treated with oral renierol(10,20,30 mg?kg~(-1)) or allopurinol(2 mg/kg) as positive control. The decrease of serum uric acid induced by renierol was determined by automatic biochemical analyzer. Results: Renierol was demonstrated to be a competitive inhibitor of xanthine oxidase in vitro, with its IC_(50) value being 1.36 ?g?ml~(-1).It also decreased uric acid in vivo. Conclusion: Renierol can decrease serum uric acid through inhibiting the xanthine oxidase.
4.Advances on T helper 17 cells/regulatory T cells and leukemia
International Journal of Pediatrics 2012;39(1):88-91
Thelper 17 ( Th17 ) cells and regulatory T (Treg) cells are resistant to each other in their functions and differentiation pathways.Th17 cells and Treg cells play different roles in the development, treatment and prognosis of leukemia.Their functions are stronger and(or) numbers are more increasing than in the healthy controls.Th17 cells mainly function to promote inflammation and improve the body's defense capability to leukemic cells.Treg cells mainly mediate immune suppression and immune tolerance, and then inhibit the body's immune response to leukemia cells, which can results in poor treatment outcomes. Both Th17 cells and Treg cells have close relationships with the development, treatment and prognosis of leukemia. We would deal with the leukemia through the intervention of naive T cell differentiation.
5.The efficacy of oestradiol valerate combined with dienogest for menorrhagia without organic pathology
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2012;35(30):14-16
Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of oestradiol valerate (E2V) combined with dienogest (DNG) for menorrhagia without organic pathology. Methods Sixty-two menorrhagia without organic pathology patients were randomized divided into observation group (31 cases ) and control group (31cases).E2V combined with DNG were given in observation group while control group with E2V only. Both of the treatment lasted for 3 cycles. The changes in menstrual blood loss was assessed by the pictorial blood loss assessment chart (PBAC).The time of control bleeding, stop bleeding, the level of hemoglobin and adverse reaction were compared. Results The time of control bleeding, stop bleeding in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group[ ( 16.5 ± 2.2) h vs.(23.4 ± 2.9) h,(23.3 ± 8.4) h vs.(40.9 ±4.6) h] (P<0.01).The level of hemoglobin and PBAC scores between two groups had no significant difference before treatment (P>0.05).After treatment for 3 cycles, the level of hemoglobin in observation group was higher than that in control group, but had no significant difference (P>0.05 ),the PBAC scores in observation group was lower than that in control group after treatment for 1,2,3 cycles(P<0.01 ).Both of the rate of adverse reaction in two groups was 12.9% (4/31 ).No severe adverse reaction happened in two groups. Conclusions E2V combined with DNG is more rapid and effective in reducing menstrual blood loss.It does not increase the rate of adverse reaction and worthy of clinical application.
7.Antigout effect of renierol extracted from the marine sponge in the South China Sea
Chinese Journal of Marine Drugs 2001;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the inhibitive effect of renierol extracted from the marine sponge in the South China Sea on xanthine oxidase and the effect on mice hyperuricemia as well as its possible mechanisms. Methods Renierol was extracted from sponge and its antigoat effect was tested. The activity of xanthine oxidase was measured by using the generation of uric acid method and the NBT reduction induced by superoxide anions, then its possible mechanism was estimated. Results The two methods showed renierol could obviously inhibit the effect of xanthine oxidase with IC_(50)of 1.85 and 1.36?g?mL~(-1),respectively.Conclusion Renierol extracted from the marine sponge can effectively inhibit the effect of xanthine oxidase.
8.Advances in molecular markers of lung cancer metastasis
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(10):752-755
Metastasis is the main cause of the high mortality of lung cancer. Research is currently underway to understand metastasis at molecular level. Many molecular markers have been shown to participate in metastasis, including thymidylate synthase, angiogenesis lymphangiogenesis-related factors, cell adhesion molecules, extracellular matrix metalloproteinases, cytokines, and metastasis-associated genes. Elucidating the molecular mechanism of metastasis will help improve the early diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.

10.Analysis of stenosis application of micro minimally invasive technique for the treatment of lumbar spinal
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(19):2974-2976
Objective To explore the effects of minimally invasive technique in the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis. Methods 80 lumbar spinal stenosis patients were divided into the observation group and control group,40 cases in each group, who were informed consent under the premise of the stochastic averaging grouping. The two groups were treated with microscopic invasive technology and traditional posterior bilateral fenestration decompression, and the therapeutic effect of two groups were compared. Results The average operation time of the observation group (36.2 ± 4.1) rain was obviously shorter than that of the control group (41.4 ± 5.7) min (t =2.719,P < 0.05) ; the average amount of bleeding of the observation group (51.6 ± 7.3) ml was significantly lower than that of the control group(101 ± 11.7) ml(P < 0.05) ; the two groups of patients before treatment JOA score had no significant difference after treatment,follow-up,JOA scores of the two groups increased significantly, the observation group increased significantly compared with the control group (P < 0.05) ; the treatment group 19 cases of excellent, good in 17 cases, the excellent and good rate was 90%,control group 13 cases of excellent, good in 16 cases, the excellent and good rate was 72.5 %,the treatment group was better than the control group (x2 =6.594,P < 0.05) ; the observation group did not appear obvious postoperative complications occurred in 3 cases, the control group of nerve root injury,1 cases of intervertebral space infection,2 cases of incision leakage, the incidence of complications was 15%,observation complication rate was significantly lower than that of the control group (x2 =3.357,P < 0.05).Conclusion The microscopic invasive technique for the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis has a good curative effect, small trauma, high safety, which is conducive to improve the prognosis of patients, can gradually replace the traditional posterior bilateral fenestration decompression.
