Objective To investigate the effect of mindfulness-based stress reduction on job burnout of nurses.Methods By convenience sampling method,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 90 nurses in a third-grade and level-A general hospital in Zhengzhou.The nurses were randomly divided into the control group and the intervention group with 45 nurses in each group.Nurses in the intervention group were intervened under the mindfulness-based stress reduction,but nurses in the control group received psychological guidance and research method courses.The job burnout level of both groups of nurses was assessed before the treatment and 8 weeks after the treatment respectively.Results After the intervention,the factor scores of emotional exhaust,depersonalization decreased and personal achievement score increased.The incidence rate of job burnout significantly decreased.Conclusions The mindfulnessbased stress reduction therapy can relieve nurses' job burnout.

Objective The research aimed to translate the English version of the Caregiver Preparedness Scale (CPS) into Chinese and to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of CPS in caregivers of stroke survivors. Methods Totally 176 stroke survivors and their caregivers were recruited and were investigated by the Chinese version of CPS. Results The internal consistency coefficient of the Chinese version of CPS was 0.925;the test-retest reliability was 0.807 (P<0.01). Factor analysis got one factor, which explained 61.647% of the total variance. The factor loading of each item was>0.4. Conclusions The Chinese version of CPS has been proved to be reliable and valid. It can be used as a valid tool for the measurement of caregiver preparedness in caregivers of stroke survivors.

Objective To translate the English version of the Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale (ESES) into Chinese and test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of ESES in patients after stroke. Methods Totally 214 patients after stroke were recruited and were investigated by the Chinese version of ESES. Results The internal consistency coefficient of the Chinese version of ESES was 0.879. The split half reliability coefficient was 0.858(P<0.01). The test-retest reliability was 0.657. Item-total correlation coefficient ranged between 0.627 and 0.779 (P<0.01). Factor analysis got one factor, which explained 59.745%of the total variance, and the factor loading of each item was above 0.4. Using General Perceived Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) as an external criterion, the Pearson correlation coefficient of ESES with GSES was 0.496. Conclusions The Chinese version of ESES has been proved to be reliable and valid. It can be used as a valid tool for the measurement of exercise self-efficacy in patients after stroke.

Objective The research aimed to translate the English version of the Breastfeeding Self-efficacy Scale Short Form (BSES-SF) into Chinese and to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of BSES-SF. Methods Totally 308 mothers were recruited and were investigated by the Chinese version of BSES-SF. Results The internal consistency Alpha coefficient of the Chinese version of BSES-SF was 0.927, P<0.01, the half reliability coefficient was 0.853, P<0.01;the test-retest was 0.811, P<0.01. Factor analysis got one factor, which explained 52.498% of the total variance. Conclusions The Chinese version of BSES-SF has been proved to be reliable and valid. It can be used as a valid tool for the measurement of the breastfeeding self-efficacy among Chinese mothers.

Objective To investigate the job burnout status of nurses in a third-grade and A-level general hospital in Zhengzhou,and analyze the relationship between job burnout and presenteeism.Methods 300 nurses were surveyed with questionnaires by convenience sampling,including nurses' demographic data,Nurse Job Burnout Scale and Work Limitations Questionnaire.Results The scores in three dimensions of job burnout of nurses were respectively EE (25.92±11.56) points,DP (10.63±6.82) points,and PA(26.30±9.11) points.The job burnout rate in nurses was 76.2％,the rates of low,moderate,and high degree of burnout were respectively 30.4％,28.7％,and 17.4％.The scores of presenteeism for low,moderate,and high degree of work limitations were respectively (2.29±1.60)points,(5.90±3.03)points,(7.89±3.12)points.Conclusions Nurses' burnout can results in presenteeism.The more serious job burnout is,the more critical the presenteeism is.

Objective To translate the Work Limitations Questionnaire and examine its reliability and validity,and explore its applicability at home.Methods 300 nurses were surveyed with the Chinese version of the Work Limitations Questionnaire by convenience sampling; and internal consistency reliability,test-retest reliability,construct validity and criterion validity were applied to evaluate the questionnaire.Results The Cronbach α coefficients of the time managing scale,physical scale,mental-interpersonal scale,output scale and total questionnaire were 0.882,0.864,0.913,0.839 and 0.922 respectively;and their test-retest reliability coefficients were 0.857,0.837,0.871,0.803 and 0.893 respectively.Four common factors were abstracted by using factor analysis,with the cumulative variance contribution rate at 61.293％.Using SF-36 as an external criterion,the correlation coefficients of the WLQ scores with the physical function dimension and mental health dimension of the SF-36 were-0.24 and-0.33.Conclusions The reliability and validity of the questionnaire is reasonable.So this questionnaire can be used to measure employee's presenteeism.

Objective To explore the effects of health education employing health belief model on health behavior of population with high risk of stroke.Methods 92 people with high risk of stroke were randomly divided into the control group(47 cases) and the intervention group(45 cases).The intervention group received health education employing health belief model while the control group got routine health education.The health behavior of both groups were assessed before the treatment and after six-month treatment.Results The health behavior of the intervention group was significantly better than that of the control group after intervention except the domain of nutrition and spiritual growth.Conclusions Health belief model can improve health behavior of the population with high risk of stroke.

Objective Currently, there are few articles about kinesiophobia in patients with total knee arthroplasty (TKA) in China.This study aims to investigate the incidence of kinesiophobia and its influencing factors in TKA patient, and provide evidence for the intervention of kinesiophobia.Methods A total of 298 TKA patients from our hospital were investigated by general information questionnaire, Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia (TSK), Knee Self-Efficacy Scales, Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire and Social Support Rating Scale.Single-factor analysis and logistic regression analysis were conducted to explore influencing factors.Results The score of TSK was 38.50±13.52, and 31.88% of TKA patients reported kinesiophobia.Logistic regression analysis showed that duration of pain (OR=5.546, 95%CI: 2.143-14.353), education level (OR=0.145, 95%CI: 0.067-0.314), self efficacy(OR=0.606, 95%CI: 0.470-0.780), positive response (OR=0.784, 95%CI: 0.683-0.900), objective support (OR=0.807, 95%CI: 0.691-0.943) and utilization of social support (OR=0.507, 95%CI: 0.461-0.705) were factors influencing kinesiophobia in TKA patients.Conclusion Attention should be paid to the kinesiophobia in TKA patients, especially those influencing factors including duration of pain, education level, and objective support.Health care providers should encourage early stage rehabilitation exercise to improve the postoperative knee function of TKA patients.

BACKGROUND:Early rehabilitation after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) can help the rapid functional recovery of knee,but some patients are fear of moving and refuse to do exercising because of kinesiophobia,thereby delaying functional recovery.Foreign study has confirmed that patients with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can effectively alleviate kinesiophobia,but no related studies have been reported in China.OBJECTIVE:To explore the effectiveness of CBT on patients with kinesiophobia after TKA.METHODS:108 patients with kinesiophobia after TKA were recruited from Department of Orthopedics,the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University,China between March 2014 and January 2015,and were then equivalently randomized into experimental and control groups using random number table.Both groups were subjected to conventional treatment,while the experimental group received extra CBT.The scores of Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia and American Knee Society were evaluated immediately,1,3,and 6 months after hospital discharge;the hospitalization time and total hospitalization expenditure were compared between two groups immediately after discharge.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The scores of Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group at different time points postoperatively (P ＜ 0.05).The scores of American Knee Society in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group at 3 and 6 months after discharge and kept on rising (P ＜ 0.01),but showed no significant difference at discharge and 1 month after discharge (P ＞ 0.05).(2) The hospitalization time and total hospitalization expenditure in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P ＜ 0.01).(3) To conclude,CBT cannot only shorten the hospitalization time and total hospitalization expenditure,but also relieve kinesiophobia,which is conductive for functional recovery of the knee.

Objective: To compare the positive rate of microbiological examination in different clinical specimens, and to provide reliable basis for improving the quality of microbiological examination and management of nosocomial infection. Methods: A total of 2 028 bacterial culture specimens were collected from the hospitalized patients in the Second People's Hospital of Jinanfrom March 2016 to February 2018.The samples were examined by Micro Scan autoSCAN4 automatic bacteriological identification analyzer.Strictly according to the specification of the standard operation, the positive rates of microbial testingof all kinds of clinical specimens were statistically analyzed. Results: The positive rate of microbiological examination in 2 028 clinical specimens was 44.33%.The positive rate of microbiological examination in sputum was the highest(58.96%), followed by ophthalmic secretion(40.64%), eye contents(37.96%), urine(34.55%), blood(21.11%). Conclusion The positive rate of microbiological examination is different in different clinical specimens.The epidemiological situation of nosocomial infection can be understood by analyzing the microbiological examination of different clinical specimens in clinic.In order to provide a reliable basis for clinical prevention and treatment of nosocomial infection, and to further improve the positive rate of clinical microbiological examination, we should actively carry out improvement countermeasures against its influencing factors.
