Purpose To summarize the characteristics of computed tomography enteroclysis (CTE) in active ulcerative colitis (UC), and to explore the value of multi-slice CTE in the evaluation of UC. Materials and Methods Thirty-five patients with active UC confirmed by clinical manifestation, colonoscopy and pathology underwent CTE examination in the study. According to the modiifed Mayo-score, the patients were divided into mild group, moderate group and severe group, and the CTE manifestations were compared among the three groups. Results Among 35 patients, 6 patients were in the mild group, 13 in the moderate group, and 16 in the severe group. Submucosal bubbles had signiifcant differences between mild and moderate groups (P<0.05), bowel wall stratiifcation, disappearance of haustra and enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes were signiifcantly different between moderate and severe groups (P<0.05), and engorged vasa recta was significantly different between the 3 groups (P<0.05). However, bowel wall thickening, mural hyperenhencement, narrow lumen and fatty deposits around the rectum showed no difference between the three groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Multi-slice CTE can provide image features of bowel wall, intestinal tube and structures outside intestine in the evaluation of UC, thus it is useful in the diagnosis of active UC as well as in its clinical grading.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of 1,25(OH)2D3 on the level of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ (PPAR-γ) in the liver, the phenotype of hepatic macrophages, and liver inflammation in a rat model of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), as well as the mechanism of 1,25(OH)2D3 improving liver inflammation. MethodsAfter 1 week of adaptive feeding, 24 specific pathogen-free Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal group [choline-supplemented L-amino acid-defined (CSAA) diet], normal+1,25(OH)2D3 group [CSAA diet+1,25(OH)2D3], model group [choline-deficient L-amino acid-defined diet (CDAA) diet], and model+1,25(OH)2D3 group [CDAA diet+1,25(OH)2D3], with 6 rats in each group. The dose of 1,25(OH)2D3 was 5 μg/kg for intraperitoneal injection twice a week for 12 weeks. The serum levels of aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) were measured, liver histopathology was observed, and SAF score was assessed. M1 hepatic macrophages and M2 hepatic macrophages were measured to analyze in the change in the phenotype of hepatic macrophages, and ELISA was used to measure the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), interleukin-4 (IL-4), and interleukin-10 (IL-10) in liver tissue, and qPCR was used to measure the mRNA level of PPAR-γ. The two-factor analysis of variance was use for comparison between groups, and the least significant difference t-test was used for further comparison; the Pearson method was used for correlation analysis. ResultsCompared with the normal group, the model rats with CDAA diet-induced NASH had significant increases in the serum levels of AST and ALT (P=0.019 and P<0.001), the SAF score of liver histopathology (P<0.001), the level of M1 hepatic macrophages (P<0.001), and the ratio of M1 and M2 hepatic macrophages (P<0.001), as well as a significant increase in the level of TNF-α (P<0.001) and a significant reduction in the level of IL-4 in liver tissue (P=0.025). The 1,25(OH)2D3 group had significant reductions in the serum levels of ALT (P<0.001), the SAF score of liver histopathology (P<0.001), the level of M1 hepatic macrophages (P<0.001), and the ratio of M1 and M2 hepatic macrophages (P=0.001), the level of IL-1β (P<0.001) and a significant increase in the level of M2 hepatic macrophages (P=0.017), the level of IL-10 (P=0.039), the level of IL-4 (P<0.001), the level of PPAR-γ (P=0.016). There were significant interactions between CDAA diet-induced NASH model and 1,25(OH)2D3 in serum the levels of AST and ALT (P=0.007 and P=0.008), the SAF scores of liver histopathology (P<0.001), the level of M1 hepatic macrophages (P<0.001), the level of M2 hepatic macrophages (P=0.008), the ratio of M1 and M2 of hepatic macrophages (P=0.005), the level of TNF-α (P<0.001), the level of IL-10 (P=0.038), the level of IL-4 (P<0.001) and the level of PPAR-γ (P=0.009). The correlation analysis showed that PPAR-γ was negatively correlated with the ratio of M1 and M2 hepatic macrophages (r=-0.415, P=0.044) and was positively correlated with M2 hepatic macrophages (r=0.435, P=0.033), IL-10 (r=0.433, P=0.035), and IL-4 (r=0.532, P=0.007). ConclusionThis study shows that 1,25(OH)2D3 improves liver inflammation in NASH by activating PPAR-γ to regulate the phenotypic transformation of hepatic macrophages.

OBJECTIVETo compare the lipid levels, dyslipidemia prevalence and the influencing factors between Korean and Han nationalities in Yanbian state.
METHODSA population-based cross-sectional study was conducted. Totally 3011 subjects, ranging from 30 to 70 years old, were included. Height, weight, waist and hip circumference, serum lipids were measured.
RESULTSThe HDL-C concentration of male and female Korean (1.04 +/- 0.45 mmol/L and 1.07 +/- 0.43 mmol/L, respectively) was significantly lower than those of Han (1.16 +/- 0.52 mmol/L and 1.19 +/- 0.56 mmol/L, F = 14.423 and 20.827; P < 0.001). The TG concentration of male Korean (2.10 +/- 2.08 mmol/L) was significantly higher than that of Han male (1.72 +/- 1.73 mmol/L, F = 13.543; P < 0.001) and the prevalence of high triglyceride among male Korean (23.3%) was also significantly higher than that of male Han (15.0%, chi2 = 12,720; P < 0.001). However, the prevalence of high total cholesterol among male Korean (2.3%) was significantly lower than that of Han male (5.2%, chi2 = 6.639; P < 0.01). The prevalence of high TC and TG among female Korean (6.7%) was significantly higher than those of female Han (4.1%, chi2 = 6.394; P<0.05). The crude rate of dyslipidemia of Korean was 31.5%, while that of Han was 24.4%, and the age-adjusted prevalence was 28.7% and 23.0%, respectively, which showed significant ethnic differences in male. The crude rate of dyslipidemia of Korean was 28.9%, while that of Han was 21.7%, and the age-adjusted prevalence was 21.5% and 20.5%, respectively, which also showed significant ethnic differences in female. The prevalence of dyslipidemia was positively correlated with sex, age, WHR, WHtR, and nationality.
CONCLUSIONThere were significant differences in the lipid profiles and the prevalence of dyslipidemia between Korean and Han nationalities. Sex, age,WHR, WHtR, and nationality in this state should be risk factors of the dyslipidemia.

Objective:To evaluate the methodological quality and evidence quality of outcome of the systematic reviews/meta analyses on traditional exercise for the improvement of cardiopulmonary function. Methods:By searching for PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, CNKI, Wanfang, VIP and CBM databases in Chinese or English, the Systematic Reviews/meta analysis of traditional exercises for improving cardiopulmonary function was conducted. The retrieval time was March 8th, 2020. The AMSTAR 2 scale was used to evaluate the methodological quality of the systematic review/meta-analysis that met the inclusion criteria. Since the included studies cannot reflect the overall effect of traditional exercises on improving cardiopulmonary function, and the methodological quality of systematic reviews was generally low, a secondary analysis of the RCT studies included in the systematic reviews was conducted. The methodological quality evaluation of the original RCT study adopted the Cochrane Reviewers’ Handbook Version 5.0.0 bias risk assessment method (Risk of Bias, ROB), and applied the Revman 5.3 software to merge the original RCT data. The GRADE system was used for evidence evaluation. Results:A total of 32 systematic reviews/meta analysis were included, and the AMSTAR2 scale indicated that only one of the 32 systematic reviews/meta included was of high-quality, 1 was of low-quality, and the others were of extremely low quality. A total of 57 RCTs were included in the 32 systematic reviews for bias risk assessment and data consolidation. GRADE evidence quality evaluation showed that 14 evidences were of medium quality, 26 evidences were of low quality, and 5 evidences were of extremely low quality. Conclusions:Traditional exercises can improve cardiopulmonary function, but with low evidence quality. Thus, clinicians should make clinical decisions based on conditions.

PURPOSE: Several studies have compared the effects of coronary stenting and coronary-artery bypass grafting (CABG) on left main coronary artery (LMCA) disease. However, there are limited data on the long-term outcomes of these two interventions in diabetic patients. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We evaluated 56 patients with LMCA stenosis who underwent drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation and 116 patients who underwent CABG in a single hospital in China between January 2004 and December 2006. We compared long-term major adverse cardiac events (death; a "serious outcome" composite of death, myocardial infarction, or stroke; and target-vessel revascularization). RESULTS: In-hospital (30-day) mortality was 0% for the DES group and 3.4% for the CABG group (p=0.31). There was no difference between the two groups in terms of risk of death [hazard ratio for stenting group, 0.49; 95% confidence interval (CI), 0.13-1.63; p=0.55] or risk of serious outcome (hazard ratio for DES group, 1.11; 95% CI, 0.39-1.45; p=0.47). The target-vessel revascularization rate was higher in the DES group than in the CABG group (hazard ratio, 3.67; 95% CI, 1.24-11.06; p=0.018). CONCLUSION: In this cohort of diabetic patients with LMCA stenosis, there was no difference in composite endpoints between patients receiving DESs and those undergoing CABG. However, stenting was associated with higher rates of target-vessel revascularization than CABG. DES implantation in diabetic patients with LMCA disease was found to be at least as safe as CABG.

Objective:To summarize the characteristics of the participants (P), interventions (I), control measures (C), outcomes (O) and study design (S) of the clinical study of chronic back pain (CBP) in recent years; To further systematically organize the outcomes of the clinical study of CBP and their corresponding measurement tools. Methods:Clinical studies of CBP were retrieved from various databases including CNKI, Wanfang Database, VIP, SinoMed, Cochrane Library, Pubmed, Embase, Web of Science, etc. The search period was from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2019. The retrieved literature was extracted and analyzed. The retrieved literatures will be extracted and analyzed. The retrieved literature was subjected to data extraction and analysis, and the quality of outcome indicators was evaluated according to 6 items. The Newcastle-Ottawa Scale ( NOS ) was used to evaluate the quality of cohort studies and case-control studies. Analyze the relationship between outcome indicators and interventions. Results:A total of 3 028 articles were finally included after examination and screening. The top 7 diagnoses of CBP were low back pain, lumbar disc protrusion, lumbar vertebral stenosis, lumbar vertebral slip, lumbar disc degression, non-specific chronic low back pain and post-operative pain syndrome. The top 7 intervention measures in clinical studies of CBP were surgery, acupuncture, physiotherapy, Tuina, exercise therapy, Western medicine painkillers and oral Chinese patent medicines. A total of 47 outcomes and 348 outcome measurement tools were reported in the literature included. Conclusion:In the clinical study of CBP in the recent years, there are problems such as incomplete and low quality of reporting, a wide variety of outcome measurement tools and lack of uniform reporting standards. The characteristics of patients determine the common characteristics of outcomes selection and it is also necessary to consider the specific outcomes related to interventions.
