Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is a three-dimensional deformity of the spine, which not only affects spinal anatomy, mobility and trunk symmetry, but also leads to the changes of human locomotion through pelvic.During the past 30 years, though great progress has been made in the treatment of AIS,the pathogeny of AIS is still uncertain. Most scholars believe that many factors contribute to the pathogeny of AIS,however, some studies have shown that poor posture during walking and poor manage of balance could lead to the progress of scoliosis.Gait is a behaviour characteristic during walking, and normal gait is the result of nervous system, musculoskeletal system, proprioception and vision.Any disease of the system above may cause abnormal gait.Gait analysis can spot the key links and impact factors of abnormal gait by observing and measuring the testers' walking, reflect the abnormal gait objectively and quantitatively, and provide reference opinions for the recovery and treatment of patients. At present, gait analysis has been mostly applied in hemiplegia, cerebral palsy and knee osteoarthritis. In recent years, gait analysis has been increasingly used in AIS patients. There have been many researches about the kinematics and kinetics of gait analysis in adolsecent idiopathic scoliosis abroad and some positive results have been reported..But in China,it's still in the initial stage. We reviewed the published papers about gait analysis in AIS patients, and summarized the kinematics, kinetics and different means of intervention on gait in AIS patients. We hope it will provide references for our researches.

Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics and treatment analysis of unicentric retroperitoneal Castleman's dis-ease (CD) and to improve its levels of diagnosis and treatment. Methods:The clinical data of 18 patients with unicentric retroperitone-al CD were retrospectively reviewed from January 2002 to December 2016. We analyzed the demographic characteristics, clinical fea-tures, histological diagnosis, treatment, and prognostic characteristics of these patients. Results:The patients comprised 4 males and 14 females with a median age of 44.1 years old (ranging from 24 years old to 70 years old). The tumor was located in the kidney in one case, while it was located in the adrenal region in eight cases. In the other cases, the tumor was in the retroperitoneal region. Seven patients had a clinical atypical abdominal pain, and one patient had moderate anemia. All patients underwent surgical resection. The mean operation time was 153.3 min with a range of 60 min to 260 min. The mean blood loss was 447.2 mL (ranging from 10 mL to 3000 mL). Two cases had blood transfusion after operation, and one had urinary fistula complication. CD was confirmed by histopathol-ogy. Hyaline vascular type of CD was observed in 16 cases, and mixed type of CD was observed in 2 cases. The median follow-up was 25 months. One patient had tumor recurrence after 2 years of operation and died. Other patients remained alive without recurrence. Conclusion:Unicentric retroperitoneal CD is a rare disease that is often misdiagnosed because of the absence of specific clinical mani-festations. The final diagnosis depends on the results of a pathologic examination. Complete surgical resection offers a favorable result for unicentric retroperitoneal CD.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2019;21(11):995-999
Objective:
To evaluate the efficacy of articular compression molding techniques in the surgery for acetabular posterior wall fracture.
Methods:
A retrospective study was conducted of the 28 patients (28 hips) with fracture of acetabular posterior wall plus comminuted compression of articular surface who had been treated using the articular compression molding techniques at Department of Orthopedics, The Hospital of 81 Group Army of PLA from January 2014 to January 2018. They were 25 males and 3 females, aged from 26 to 63 years (average, 49.3 years). The time from injury to surgery ranged from 4 to 12 days (average, 7.8 days). According to the Letournel-Judet classification, all were single element (simple) posterior wall fractures combined with posterior dislocation of the femoral head and articular compression of different degrees; transient sciatic nerve injury was complicated in 12 cases. The posterior hip dislocations were timely and successful reset at emergency treatment. The compression fractures of the posterior wall and hip joint were treated by open reduction and internal fixation via the acetabular posterior (K-L) approach. The articular compression was treated by 4 stabilization techniques: absorbable screwing and blocking technique in 10 cases, indwelling screwing in 12 cases, indwelling Kirschner wiring in 2 cases and die push and squeeze tamping in 4 cases. The operation time, intraoperative bleeding and complications were recorded. The therapeutic efficacy was evaluated by the modified Merle d’Aubigne & Postel scoring criteria at the final follow-up.
Results:
The operation time lasted from 76 to 118 minutes (average, 94.2 minutes); the intraoperative bleeding ranged from 100 to 320 mL (average,220.8 mL). No incision liquefaction, infection or other complications occurred. The 28 patients were followed up for 10 to 36 months (average, 17.6 months). According to the Matta scoring criteria, 24 cases achieved anatomical reduction but 4 dissatisfactory reduction. By the modified Merle d’Aubigne & Postel scoring criteria at the final follow-up, the efficacy was evaluated as excellent in 26 cases and as good in 2. Heterotopic ossification was observed in 3 cases and microscopic free dense shadow in the joint cavity (about 2 mm in the round ligament) in 3 cases. There were no cases of obvious traumatic arthritis or osteoarthritis, femoral head necrosis, walking pain, lameness or hip abduction weakness. The 12 patients complicated with preoperative transient sciatic nerve injury recovered within 3 months after surgery.
Conclusion
The articular compression molding techniques can effectively treat severely comminuted articular compression in the acetabular posterior wall fracture and improve reduction of articular surface and hip joint matching, leading to stability and good joint function.

Objective:
The objective was to identify the incidence of influenza-like syndromes and related health behavior factors among Beijing residents.
Methods:
From December 6, 2013 to January 16, 2014, we selected 150 villages or communities from 30 towns or streets as survey locations using a multi-stage random sampling method, and then conducted a cross-sectional study among 7 354 residents who aged 18 years or above and had live in Beijing for more than a half year using self-administered anonymous questionnaires, and totally 7 327 valid questionnaires are collected. The questionnaire consisted of demographic information, self-reported influenza-like syndromes in the past two weeks, and health behaviors. Multiple logistic regression models were used to identify the factors associated with self-reported influenza-like syndromes.
Results:
The mean (SD) age of the partcipants was 44.6 (15.2) years. Among them, 6.9% (506 cases) reported having influenza like illness during the past two weeks. The multiple logistic regression analysis indicated that regular physical exercise, optimal hand hygiene, and avoidance of going to the crowded places during respiratory infectious disease epidemics were significantly associated with a lower likelihood of reporting influenza-like syndromes, compared with those without regular physical exercises, without optimal hand hygiene, and not avoiding going to the crowded places, and the

Objective:
To study the clinicopathologic characteristics, immunophenotype, pathologic diagnosis and differential diagnosis of myxoid adrenocortical adenomas.
Methods:
The clinical data, histological features and immunohistochemical results of 4 cases of myxoid adrenocortical adenomas were analyzed, which were collected from January 2014 to December 2016 at Guangdong General Hospital, with review of literature.
Results:
Four cases of myxoid adrenocortical adenomas were presented. The patients ages ranged from 26 to 45 years (mean =35 years). Microscopically, it showed a typical morphology, characterized by small-sized tumor cell cords or pseudo-glands embedded in an abundant extracellular myxoid matrix. Immunohistochemical staining showed tumor cells were strongly positive for Melan A, vimentin and focally for α-inhibin, one case showed strong and diffuse positivity for CAM5.2, and two cases showed diffuse positivity for synaptophysin, while negative for CgA, S-100 protein, epithelial antigen, CK7, CK20 and CKpan.
Conclusions
Myxoid adrenocortical adenomas are extremely rare, which may cause confusion with metastatic well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumours, sex cord-stromal tumoursor metanephric adenoma. Recognition of this entity would be beneficial for pathologists to avoid misdiagnosis, and unnecessary treatment.

Objective:To investigate the optimal experimental conditions (including antigen retrieval time, antibody titers and antibody incubation time) for reliable detection of programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression using PD-L1 (22C3) antibody concentrate, and to establish a laboratory developed test for PD-L1 detection. Methods:Using Dako PD-L1 IHC 22C3 pharmDX staining procedure and scoring guidelines as the standard reference (group A), the PD-L1 expression in 25 tissue specimens (including 15 lung cancer tissues, 5 tonsil tissues and 5 placenta tissues) was detected with Flex+/HRP detection kit (EnVision) under 8 different experimental conditions (groups B1 to B8). The staining results were then compared to those in group A.Results:In group B1, 3 tissue samples showed the percentages of PD-L1 positive tumor cells were similar to those in group A, while the percentages of PD-L1 positive tumor cells were lower than those in group A in the other samples. In group B7, two case showed a positive rate higher than that in group A that was also above the positive cut-off value, and the rest of the samples had a percentage of PD-L1 positive tumor cells slightly higher than that in group A, but still below the positive cut-off value. The staining results of group B8 were the closest to those of group A compared with the other groups. Although the percentages of PD-L1 positive tumor cells in the B2 to B6 groups were decreased in various degrees as compared with group A, they were still concordant with group A′s classification (positive vs. negative) and would not change the choice of clinical treatments. Conclusions:The experimental conditions are associated with detection rate of PD-L1 expression using 22C3 antibody. In the present study, the most-suitable alterative conditions in the PD-L1 detection using 22C3 antibody concentrate are those applied in the group B8 (including antigen retrieval in Dako PT Link tank at 97 ℃, pH 6.0 for 40 min and incubation with 22C3 antibodies (1∶100 dilution) at room temperature for 60 min, incubation with EnVision Flex+Linker at room temperature for 30 min, incubation with EnVision/HRP at room temperature for 30 min and DAB staining for 5 min), which could provide reliable results at minimum costs.
