The polyclonal antibodies against VLDL receptor were prepared and identified. Rabbits were immunized with polypeptide fragment of VLDL receptor as antigen. The collected blood serum of the immunized rabbits was analyzed and identified by using ELISA and Western Blot. The results showed that the rabbit against mouse and human VLDL receptor antibodies were obtained with high titer and could recognize the natural VLDL receptors through Western blot. The prepared polyclonal antibodies against VLDL receptor provide a new tool to study the protein of VLDL receptor.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the carotid artery invasion in patients with head and neck malignant tumor with multislice helical CT and MPR. METHODS Thirty-six tumors adjacent to the carotid artery in head and neck were studied using 16 slice helical CT scanner. The following two parameters were measured:tumor-artery angle(the angle surrounded by the tumor)and tumor-artery ratio(the ratio between the length of intersection of the tumor with carotid and the diameter of the carotid).RESULTS Tumor-artery angle:in judgment of carotid involvement with axial CT,the accuracy of the tumor-artery angle≥90?group and the tumor-artery angle≥180?group were higher than that of the tumor-artery angle≥45?group (P
3.Status quo of awareness of patient safety culture of nurses in psychiatric department
Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2021;27(6):760-766
Objective:To understand the current status of patient safety culture (PSC) of nurses in psychiatric department in China and to provide references for nursing managers to formulate effective nursing measures to improve the quality of psychiatric nursing services. Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 2 624 nurses in psychiatric department from 7 regions of China were selected as the research objects in September 2019. The Self-designed General Information Questionnaire and Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSOPSC) were used for the survey. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed on the influencing factors of "adverse event reporting frequency" and "general perception of patient safety" of nurses in psychiatric department. Results:A total of 2 624 questionnaires were returned. The positive response rate of all dimensions of HSOPSC was from 43.33% to 83.31%. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that personnel allocation, non-punitive response to errors, feedback and communication to errors, shift and department transfer were the influencing factors of adverse event reporting frequency ( P<0.05) , together explaining 15.8% of the total variation. Personnel allocation, organizational learning and continuous improvement, non-punitive responses to errors, managers' expectations and actions to promote safety, feedback and communication on errors, management support for patient safety and shifts and department transfers were influencing factors for patient safety culture ( P<0.05) , together explaining 41.2% of the total variation. Conclusions:The cognitive level of psychiatric nurses on PSC needs to be improved. It is recommended that nursing managers intervene in three areas of personnel allocation of psychiatric nurses, non-punitive reactions to errors and frequency of adverse event reports, so as to improve psychiatric nurses' recognition of PSC, thereby improving the quality of psychiatric nursing services.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of Qianggan capsules on liver fibrosis score and insulin resistance index in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). MethodsA total of 85 NAFLD patients who were treated in the Eighth People′s Hospital of Shanghai from August 2014 to July 2015 were enrolled and randomly divided into treatment group (45 patients) and control group (40 patients). The patients in the treatment group were given Qianggan capsules, and those in the control group were given polyene phosphatidylcholine capsules. The course of treatment was 24 weeks for both groups. The changes in serum aminotransferases [aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT)], homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), and NAFLD fibrosis score (NAFLDFS) after treatment were observed in both groups. The t-test was used for comparison of continuous data between groups, before-after comparison within each group was made by paired t-test; and the chi-square test was used for comparison of categorical data between groups. ResultsBoth groups showed significant improvements in ALT and AST levels after treatment (all P<001). After treatment the treatment group showed significant reductions in HOMA-IR and NAFLDFS (358±085 vs 248±078,t=640,P<001; -178±124 vs -235±098,t=240,P<001) and the treatment group had significantly lower HOMA-IR and NAFLDFS than the control group(1248±078 vs 309±089,t=336,P<001;-235±098 vs -148±108,t=380,P<001). No serious adverse events were observed during the course of treatment. ConclusionQianggan capsules not only reduce the levels of serum aminotransferases, but also improve insulin resistance and reduce fibrosis degree in NAFLD patients.
